This is a fantastic condo in many ways - great floor plan, clean, well-equipped kitchen, nice end unit. The bed in the master bedroom is super comfy - the other beds are ok, but a little hard. The main bathroom has a luxurious shower head, the master bathroom not so much. Location is close to town and right off the main road, but not close enough to be bothered by road noise. We appreciated the gas grill.
My main issue is dealing with Vacasa. I have rented with them before, and I have rented many times with individual owners. Especially after this stay, I greatly prefer individual owners. Here are my issues - first, it took me three days to get answers to two questions, fee for the swimming pool and whether or not there was a Blu-ray player, and then the information I got was inaccurate. They gave me the fee for the pool and hot tub, but neglected to mention that they were closed for Covid. This is something an owner would usually know. Yes, there was a Blu-ray player, but it was not connected, and I could not find a cable in the giant mass of dusty cables behind the tv. Second, we had an issue with the AC. I called the property manager, and she was going to send someone out, (that was good and responsive,) but it was Saturday evening. I told her that I kind-of figured it out, enough to avoid a weekend call, but then she never followed up. The AC thermostat was set incorrectly and was not calibrated. One of the main reasons we chose this condo was the AC. Third, and this was the most significant, the WIFI was down Friday morning. I called the property manager, left a message, and she never got back to me. Not even after our stay. Bad management in my opinion. Thankfully we had phone hotspots we could use for data.
So, overall, a great vacation in a mostly-great condo, but a negative experience with Vacasa. Right now, I do not plan on renting a property that is managed by them again.
