Nantahala River Lodge es una cabaña frente al río única en el río Nantahala. Es una rara y magnífica oportunidad de tener el río corriendo a pocos pasos de su puerta. El Nantahala River Lodge ofrece privacidad, una ubicación excepcional, alojamiento de lujo, pesca de clase mundial y mucho más.

Hemos diseñado a medida y construido nuestra cabaña con madera recuperada de cabinas de Carolina del Norte de nuestra familia y granero. Piedra nativo fue utilizado dentro y por fuera. Suministramos nuestra casa con muebles hechos a mano y herencias familiares transforma en arte. Cada detalle fue cuidadosamente considerado como nos mezclamos nuestra historia familiar en la creación de la Nantahala River Lodge. El Lodge ofrece alojamiento para hasta 8 personas. Todas las habitaciones ofrecen vistas al río. Le animamos a abrir las ventanas para que el río suena suave en el interior.

The craftsmanship that went into the lodge is incredible! The beautiful landscape is something to behold! The owners have thought about every possible need and desire! They even thought of our old lab dog that goes everywhere we go. We loved our time there. We will be back again!

Simply Peaceful

This was our second stay at the River Lodge. The first time was 8-9 years ago when my wife was pregnant with our oldest daughter. This home and property was amazing then and even more beautiful today. The memories made with my wife and two daughters will never be forgotten. Annette and Mickey, thank you for creating one of the greatest memory making places on earth, we hope to be back next year to make even more! What a blessing to have the opportunity to experience this beautiful place.

Fly fishing paradise !

From the original booking to the final checkout, Mickey and Annette were fantastic hosts. Their helpful notes and "instruction sheets" were very detailed and made everything simple and was the best VRBO experience I have had....and I have had more than a few. As for the property.....It is the perfect spot for a relaxing fly fishing get away. Myself and 2 friends caught and released approximately 60 trout in 3 days including a rainbow in the 20" range right behind the house. The house is an amazing cabin with a lot of great details and character. The pictures are a good representation. It is set up with pretty much everything you might need except for food. This was my first trip to this property and we are already talking about when we might be able to return. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay!

Great Iconic Property

Wonderful place to stay while you fish the upper and lower Nantahala River. Even though flow rate was very high on the upper Nantahala due to maintenance up stream, the stream was loaded with trout for catch and release DH regs. I caught 22 in 2.5 days but that was also because we fished the lower with only a hit or two there.

Nantahala River Lodge

This was the best VRBO Experience to date and we travel alot. The lodge was very well equipped, user friendly and clean. Annette and Mickey went out of their way to make guests feel at home. There was a large selection of books that lead guests to local attractions with directions and information. I have never seen a kitchen more stocked for a chef, and I am a huge foodie and love to cook. The view and property were immaculate with all instructions to enjoy yourself in any way you wish. I have kids that are boyscouts and the instructions to make a fire were spot on, as well as all the needed supplies to do so. We loved the river and the solitude. We will definitely be back and could not recommned this property highly enough to anyone wanting a restful, peaceful, laid back, well supplied vacation.

Best vrbo yet

This was an amazing property: beautiful, right on the river, well built and decorated, and well maintained. It is rare I say that I would go back to a property but I would go back tomorrow!! The kitchen was extremely well stocked. You could have cooked a holiday meal. I cannot say enough good about the condition and cleanliness of this home. Definitely worth it!!

AMAZING!

My wife and I have stayed at homes all over the NC mountains and while they have all been nice the Nantahala River Lodge far exceeded all the others. Annette and Mickey are the best hosts I’ve ever dealt with. Great communication from both and gave us all the details we needed to enjoy our stay. The lodge itself was immaculate and their are detailed instructions everywhere to make operating everything at the lodge easy. From the spectacular views and the sound of the river right at your back door relaxing was very easy. I really can’t say enough about how great our stay was. We will definitely be booking another trip to the Nantahala River Lodge very soon.

best stocked vacation home

CLEAN!!! my socks didn't even look dusty after walking around in them. House smelled clean. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Kitchen was so well stocked and organized. Great collection of resources for things to do in the area. Beds comfortable and smelled clean. Big porch surrounding main floor had latching gates to keep stairs closed off. Homeowner was available for any questions. Can't wait to visit again.

Unique and Beautiful Property

Lodge and property are beautiful and very restful. Interior is well done and very clean. We felt safe from the virus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners instruction addresses every detail and they were very helpful.

We have made the trip from Florida to the NC mountains for several years, renting a different cabin each time. For some unknown reason we always assumed that the higher the elevation, the more fun you would have...boy was I wrong. The Nantahala Riverfront cabin was the first gorge / river / low elevation stay for us and we all enjoyed it much more than the top of a mountain. We all enjoyed the river and the sounds created by all the water and rocks. The kids enjoyed the campfire and cooking hotdogs and marshmellows....we all came home with "smoky" smelling clothes which was a good thing. Plenty of firewood is provided which was a great feature. The cabin is everything they advertise with a very unique, custom, well equiped kitchen and cozy feel. The owners and info they provided were very helpful with anything you could need. Beautiful Cabin & Owners are Awesome!

My husband and I were impressed with this cabin, as well as the owners. The place is beautiful and well kept. The owners are kind and went out of their way to accommodate us. I can’t think of anything else they could have done to make our stay more pleasant.

Mickey's grandparents came to this area for their honeymoon in 1921. It has been a long standing tradition to enjoy and care for this area. We've been making memories and friends here for three generations. We can help our guests make the most of their vacation.

We love the Great Smoky Mountains, especially the uniqueness of the Nantahala Gorge. We were thrilled to build our home on the banks of the Nantahala River. We have learned through the years that each of the 4 seasons is indeed distinct, unique and wonderful.

We love listening to the sound of the river. It's also nice to fish and swim in our front yard. The Lodge is located on a Scenic Byway and has very quick access to all of our favorite activities.
