Kai Nui es una elegante casa de 2,800 pies cuadrados, 3 habitaciones y 3 baños ubicada en la sección Lanai Villas de la hermosa comunidad de Poipu Kai Resort. Ubicado perfectamente para aquellos que buscan caminar a la playa o todas las demás comodidades de Poipu Kai. Si bien no puedes ver el horizonte del océano, ciertamente puedes escuchar los sonidos de las olas rompiendo en la distancia, brindando una tranquilidad pacífica al ambiente en todo momento. Esta casa es el refugio familiar perfecto y es ideal para parejas y amigos que están de vacaciones juntos, ya que ofrece algunas configuraciones versátiles de camas, que incluyen dos porches apantallados para dormir que le permiten disfrutar de los sonidos y las fragancias de los trópicos de la isla.

La sala de estar al aire libre tiene ventanas alrededor, lo que crea mucha luz natural y permite que las brisas se muevan para ayudar a mantener las cosas frescas. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of four, my sister's family of three and our parents all felt very comfortable in this beautiful home. The location is great, we walked to the pool and beach everyday. The only thing I would caution is there is no AC in the shared spaces (this was noted in the listing description). It wasn't a problem for us, the weather was nice, and the fan's provided kept the area cool enough, but I don't know how I would have felt if we came in the middle of the summer or if the weather was very hot!

One walking path led you to Shipwreck beach and another one the opposite direction led you to the pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, and Brennecke's Beach. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach towels, ice chest, a wagon, and two bikes were all waiting for us in the garage to use and boy did we use them. Only recommendation would be to have a dining table that can accommodate 10 instead of 8.

Great Location

Kai Nui was a great location, walking distance to Shipwreck and Poipu beaches. The house is very spacious for our 2 families of 8 people. Lots of beach gear available with a wagon to bring them to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, but the kitchen table could use a few more chairs to accommodate more than 6 people. All the showers included shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was nice to have. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

This was a beautiful home to spend our extended family vacation in. Perfect layout and the bunkbeds were great for the kids. Loved having access to extras like beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, sand toys, wagon for little kids, etc. The house is in a quiet, nice neighborhood and close to everything. The paved walking path to the pool and beach was great! Highly recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future!

Wonderful family vacation

This house worked great for our family of 10 ranging from 6-72 in age. Much to do in area. Really appreciated availability of beach towels and toys and snorkeling equipment. Home has an open feel with lots of windows for views and air flow. Bedrooms very comfortable.

Week in Kauai

The house was a wonderful home base for all of our adventures. We ate several meals and most breakfasts there. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanais. We loved walking on the paths to the coffee shop at the Hyatt, to watch the sunrise, to Poipu beach to swim/snorkel/watch the sunset n turtles, and to the pool. We enjoyed the restaurant right next to the pool. We admired all the beautiful flowers and plumeria trees along our walks. My son was so excited there was a lime tree in the back yard.

Family vacay

We had a wonderful time at Kai Nui. There were 8 of us total, 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 teenagers. The pictures and description were accurate. The home was very clean and the island breeze was lovely with all of the windows open. The lanai was a great place to have a morning cup of coffee. The available beach gear was nice to have, although the umbrellas all could be replaced as they were either broken or barely functioning. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would stay here again. Mahalo!

Nice Place

The house is beautiful. The location is within walking distance to the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for couples who need their own space. The attached lanai with extra sleeping is nice if you don't mind your children sleeping basically a few feet away from you. The upstairs living area/kitchen/dining area can get pretty warm as this area is not air conditioned, but opening the windows and using the screen door allows it to cool down in the evening. If you plan to be in your bedroom or out exploring during the heat of the day this really isn't an issue.

The home is beautiful, clean, modern, and well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The lack of AC in the living area did not bother us at all. The cross breeze was enough to cool the space. The home is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with nearby walking paths. Poipu beach is a 15 minute walk, made easier with the wagon provided. The pool and tennis/pickle ball courts are a 10 minute walk through the green belt. So glad we booked this place!

Every morning I took a 10 minute walk to Shipwreck beach to watch the sunrise. Every afternoon, the family walked to Poipu beach to swim, snorkel, watch the sea turtles. At night, we swam in the pools and hot tubs that were placed throughout the community (key-fab access only).

Lovely home with one caveat

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a lovely home in a fantastic location. The home was exactly as pictured. Lovely upgraded bathrooms and an overall wonderful layout. The only issue and unfortunately it is a big negative is in regards to the lack of air-conditioning in the common area living room and kitchen.. Apparently the tradewinds are typically blowing which allows for a pleasant breeze during the day. Unfortunately while we were there, this was not the case. Despite opening all of the windows and running three floor fans, the living area was frankly unbearable between the hours of 11 AM and 5 PM. Complicating matters is the fact that you are instructed to not have the air-conditioning running in the bedrooms while windows in the common area are open. If you were a family traveling with young children for example, who were taking a nap in the air-conditioned rooms it would be extremely unpleasant to remain in the common areas on a warm day. We visited in October and I can’t imagine what that area would be like in the warmer summer months. Such a shame because it really is a beautiful home. We did contact the property management company and unfortunately there wasn’t much they could do. Highly recommend that the owners look into a portable air conditioning unit for the large space in the event of unseasonably warm weather. For the first four nights of our stay, we avoided being in the home between the hours mentioned above. For this reason alone, we would not return. if you don’t plan on being in the home during the afternoon, then it would not be an issue. The home was well stocked and the property management company was responsive but again unfortunately this is an issue that could not be rectified. We found the shared community pool to be rather small and crowded. We did enjoy the convenient walking paths which led to beaches and the grand Hyatt. We also utilized the tennis club during our stay. Great tennis/Pickleball facility.

A few negatives: the dishwasher broke early in the week and wasn't fixed. Having to constantly wash and dry dishes by hand for so many people took a lot away from our free time. I know that seems like a minor detail, but it was not what we expected to do on an expensive vacation. The mattresses weren't very comfortable (but different people like different beds, so that could just be our personal preferences), but the main complaint was a lack of insulation between floors. We had to tip-toe around if anyone was sleeping. Overall, though, it's a wonderful spot to spend a week with family. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Kauai delight

Gorgeous and Very Functional House for Family Reunion

This gorgeous house worked so well for 2 families of our family reunion group (and could work for 3 families just as well). The house was represented very well by the online photos and did not disappoint in any way. The three master bedroom suites with lanai's were separated nicely to allow for quiet and privacy from each other when needed; and the suite which had the lanai room enclosed and outfitted with bunk beds was fabulous (and cost saving) for our cousin, her husband and two children. All of us were extremely comfortable and there was so much room in the perfectly outfitted upstairs living area with lanai. With lots of windows and french doors, the house stayed nice and cool (even though we stayed in August - September) and gave us that perfect Hawaiian vacation ambiance. The kitchen was superbly outfitted with everything we needed for making our own meals. Garden Island Rentals was so attentive and checked in with us regularly, even though we had no problems or concerns; we highly recommend this house and Garden island Rentals.
