Upsides: Comfortable rooms and beds, located steps from the pool and about a mile from Poipu beach and stores, beach supplies (chairs, snorkels, boogie boards), nice outdoor patio. Nice welcome basket with cookies, nuts and a serving of Kauai coffee.Downsides: hot tub was out of order for the 5 days we stayed and gardening crew at work right outside our patio by 8am. A few extra kitchen condiments/supplies would be helpful (spices, cooking oil) but other than that we were all very comfortable and happy with our stay.

Christmas at Pili Mai

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for our family of six. We each had our own bedroom and two of the masters had their own bathrooms. The condo was in a perfect location very close to the pool and a quick ride to Poipu Beach.The condo had a well stocked kitchen, and the bathrooms had toiletries. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Beach chairs , cooler and sand toys were also supplied. My only minor complaint was that the bathrooms did not seem thoroughly clean and we found an apple core under one of the beds. Overall it was a great place and I would stay here again. Kristen was our contact person and was very responsive to any questions that we had.

The house was lovely and mostly perfect. My only complaint would be the master bed was so very uncomfortable. It sunk us like a rock and we are small people. Pillows were also not great due to being so flat within 2 min. Replacing that mattress would make it perfect. We had quite a few dirty dishes that we grabbed out of cabinets and the trash can is broken. Other than those things we moved it so much. Thank you!

We have stayed in Poipu many times, first time at this condo. We loved it! Getting to the beach was quick, property well maintained with great pool. This condo had a well stocked kitchen and laundry. Bedding was nice with extra blankets.

Someone in our group was always taking a cold shower, and the main living area probably could be repainted but other than that was very nice convenient would definitely look to stay here again. Very large on-site pool directly across the street, Well stocked with chairs and umbrellas, sand toys. Great kitchen with large island for cooking breakfast or dinner for the family.

This house was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable and inviting for eight adults. Pili Mai is well situated and Poipu is a great location to stay on Kauai. Communication before and during our stay was clear and informative. We loved Kauai and would definitely stay here again.

Would stay here every time!

Location was only 3 minutes from Poipu beach and even closer to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the cleanliness and size of the home as well. Lots of room for the family. Being right across from the pool was great as well. The only thing to be improved was communication with the management. While it was easy to text them they didn’t answer all our questions or do things they had said they would. Definitely not a deal breaker and we would for sure stay against. Just something that could be improved.

Great Location

We had a great time at the Pili Mai! It was a great location - close to Poipu and the beach and the Hyatt (I was there for a meeting). The pool was great and the location of the condo was so easy. We had one little issue, but the property manager was very responsive and easy to work with! Thank you!

Wonderful Condo & Location

We spent one week as an extended family over the New Year and loved the stay. The condo is well equipped with all of the supplies you need. The layout with separate wings were perfect for each family. Location is within walking distance (15 min to Poipu beach) or a quick drive. Facilities are well maintained and neighborhood was quiet.

Great Location

Minutes from shopping and the beach, but in a quiet, relaxed location. The pool was across from the building, and yet it was quiet enough we couldn't hear anyone.

Fall Family Vaca

Great location for many beaches, shops and restaurants! A+ there We loved the lanai for morning coffees and the kids were excited the pool was across the road from the front porch. Great perk having the beach towels and gear! Feedback: wish they provided more than a tiny tube of shampoo/soap for a week’s stay. Needs general maintenance on some areas that are worn or broken but nothing major.

Nice stay for our family

The condo was very nice and well appointed. It looks like the property had been renovated fairly recently. It was nice having the two downstairs bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and the two separate upstairs bedrooms with another full bathroom upstairs. Air conditioning worked well and furnishing were nice. Wifi and TVs were nice. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Property manager was very responsive to questions. The condo is very close to the community pool, which was nice. Checking in was very easy and using a code to enter was nice as opposed to keeping track of house keys. Garage had all sorts of equipment, including a ton of beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, sand toys, etc. I recommend this property and will look to stay here again on our next trip to the island.

Family oasis

My family and I have been coming to Kauai for over a decade. It’s one of our favorite places as a family. This is our first time at this property and we loved it. Great location, great unit, plenty of space and very nice. Highly recommend it. We had 7 people in our party and all were very comfortable.

Family fun in Kauai

We stayed in a lovely 4 bedroom condo in Poipu. The condo was as advertised and very well stocked with all the necessities for great family dinners. The property owners had a garage full of water toys, cooler, umbrellas and beach chairs. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The only disappointment was the outdoor grills didn’t work very well. The grounds were beautiful and well tended. We had a fabulous week.
