Cabina Clásica De Salmón Riverfront De 1925

Ubicado justo en las orillas del prístino río Salmon, nuestro monte recientemente restaurado. Hood cabina se encuentra en un medio acre privado en medio de un bosque viejo crecimiento. Desde el momento en que sales de tu auto, experimentas lo que se siente estar lejos de todo. Sus sentidos quedarán encantados con los sonidos del agua corriendo y las vistas y los olores del bosque.
Nuestra idílica cabaña cuenta con un porche delantero cubierto completo con una mesa de comedor al aire libre y sillas Adirondack. Además está el patio lateral cubierto con jacuzzi y barbacoa de gas. En el interior encontrará una hermosa chimenea de piedra de río, paredes de madera de pino con nudos, una cocina completamente renovada, así como alfombras, colchones y ropa de cama nuevos.
Esta es su cabina de entrada a todas las aventuras que su corazón desea: esquíe en las laderas, monte en bicicleta el sistema Sandy Ridge Trail o camine por una cantidad de hermosos senderos a través de bosques antiguos. Si la relajación es más importante en su callejón, nuestra cabaña lo tiene cubierto también. Dese un chapuzón en el río, sumérjase en la bañera de hidromasaje, relájese con un buen libro junto a la estufa de leña, juegue un juego de mesa o haga girar un poco de vinilo en el estéreo clásico. También ofrecemos smart T. V. y WiFi de alta velocidad para transmitir tus programas favoritos.

My stay was wonderful and this property is perfect! I stayed for a week with my elderly dog for a final hiking trip before his hip dysplasia becomes too much for him to bear. The home is located close to trails, offers a main floor master suite, a beautiful outdoor area, hot tub, full kitchen, plenty of space and is riverfront. My dog loved sniffing around and watching the river flow by. He easily napped on the porch when he has never liked sleeping outside. I enjoyed the quiet, the feeling of seclusion close to anything I needed and being able to truly relax. I’ve never felt more at home. There was a blue jay that stopped by daily as well as butterflies. Plus there were minimal bugs. Thank you so much to the host. I’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. The cabin is well-equipped and has everything you need! And what a nice, sharp set of knives. The water pressure in the shower is amazing, and the showerhead is nice and high — great for us tall Europeans.Some downsides would be that the cleaning isn't done properly, both inside and outside. There are lots of cobwebs under the canopy and between the windows and screens. Nothing in the cabin is level, like the fridge, doors, or the washing machine, which makes it so the door can’t stay open and it gets moldy. We would also appreciate having curtains in the living room and bathroom. But overall very happy!

This is a lovely cabin! The river-front location is amazing. Very private yet easily accessible. We traveled for a ling weekend away with 6 women - easily accommodated in the 3 bedrooms. It was amazing to have 3 bathrooms! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was a great kitchen to cook in! This is a cozy cabin and it stayed lovely and cool with windows open in the summer (it has AC but we didn't need it). We spent tons of time on the gorgeous front porch which has comfy chairs and a great dining table too. The seating area by the river is great and you can get down a path to the river easily. We'd recommend this place and hope to stay here again!

Great quiet stay by the river

Super cute cabin to get away from it all. Right in the river too. We spent most of our time down at the fire pit by the river. The cabin is good too. One hundred year old property but well maintained and updated. Only tv is upstairs which is fine with us as we were not there for tv. Quiet area, but close to a few restaurants and a grocery store. Will for sure stay here again! Also, owner was very quick with responding back. Was construction on what looks like a new garage going on, but nothing was being worked on while we were there.

This is a great family vacation spot . Having 3 bathrooms with 3 showers was a real plus a group of 9. The location is near several family friendly hiking areas (Wildwood Rec Area, Zig Zag Falls, Mirror Lake). Government Camp and Timberline Lodge are a short drive away. A grocery store was a 2-minute drive away. The firepit overlooking the river was where we spent most of our time. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all. I would highly recommend this property

Place was great. If you plan on fishing, do it at dusk. Teenage son liked the record player. Wish it wasn't the dry season so we could have had a fire. Coming from the midwest, the lack of bugs was a welcome surprise.

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! We traveled to the area with our three older boys (18-23) and loved every minute of it. The record player was used daily and we spent a great deal of time outside, playing cards and enjoying the river. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin. The rhododendrons were in bloom making the landscaped property really shine. We really enjoyed sitting out on the large deck that had both a large dining table and a separate seating area with Adirondack chairs. The inside of the cabin was beautiful and very relaxing. The king bedroom on the ground floor was quite large with an attached bathroom containing laundry machines and a walkin-in shower. The queen bedroom on the ground floor was fairly small, but did its job :). The main bathroom on the ground floor also has a walkin shower, making it very easy for my 75 year old mother in law to get in and out. The kitchen is fully stocked and roomy. Barbecuing was great right outside the kitchen. The third Queen bedroom on the second floor required going up steep stairs with no risers, so save that for the young and able. There is a 3rd full bath on the second floor as well. The firepit overlooking the river was very enjoyable. The path down to the river was too steep for my MIL, but enjoyable for the rest of us.

Cozy Cabin

Our family had a great stay here. The accommodations were exactly as described and we just loved it here. We especially loved the vinyl collection, hot tub, location on the river and overall charm. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Purpose was for a family reunion. The Mt. Hood area has so much to see and do! Great location. Cabin sits on the bank of the Salmon River. Close to lors of hikes. Maybe 20-30 min. to Mt. Hood.We had 1 hiccup with the cabin. Owners did not notify us that there was ongoing construction. They are adding a garage w/loft. I would not have booked if I had known ahead of time. Owner compensated 100 and stopped construction for our stay. Kitchen was extremely well stocked and they have a great LP collection.We brought our own, but they had plenty of firewood available. There is a little grocery store about 10 minutes away. Very private and serene. Would stay here again.

Relaxing and peaceful

This was the 2nd time we stayed in this property, it’s so lovely. Loving the upgrades that has been made outside. It was better than the first time. This time I brought my family with me and they loved it as well. Everything was stocked well and was very clean. We will return a third time .

Awesome Cabin

Perfect location. Very secluded, but less than a mile from restaurants and grocery store. We spent the majority of the time at the fire pit overlooking the river. The cabin was very large and could accommodate multiple families.

Much needed relaxation in cabin by river. Very well appointed with everything. Spacious. Loved having ability to have lots of wood for fires.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. It is simultaneously cozy and plenty spacious for a group. We played games and listened to the awesome record collection. One highlight was a completely functional and stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook shared meals all weekend. The location is wonderful, tucked in the woods right by the river, but only a two minute drive to the grocery store. Vince was attentive and great at communicating info during our stay. This was one of the better rentals I have experienced. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cozy Cabin

This place is a gem. Close to town while still feeling quite remote. Very cozy with many amenities. While it was a bit cold and wet to enjoy the beautiful firepit seting by the river, we still enjoyed our stay immensely. Will probably book again in the spring/summer

Family Christmas

Great location near the water and a lot of things to do. Short trip to the mountain for skiing or tubing. We'll definitely be renting this cabin place again.

Having grown up in Montana I have a great appreciation for the mountains and being outdoors. In the early 2000's I was living in Alaska flying bush planes where I met my future wife who also shares my love of mountains. She moved to Portland to finish her degree and I followed. We ended up settling in Portland and started a family! With two young kids we decided it was time to get back to our mountain roots and we purchased the cabin. We love coming to it year-round as every season has something to offer.

Simply put, it's awesome! I realized the moment I pulled in the driveway it was the one. I really didn't feel like I needed to see the inside of the cabin, the location alone was enough for me. As it was, the cabin needed some love and I have since carefully brought it back to life, while honoring its original features. It is truly a magical place that I love taking my friends and family for any reason and I think you will too!
