Este nuevo triplex de lujo se terminó en enero de 2019. Relájese y disfrute de las atractivas vistas de la piscina y la laguna desde la terraza cubierta de Palapa en la azotea. Casa Chiva está ubicada en una de las calles más encantadoras de Barra y las unidades tienen un toque moderno y sofisticado, utilizando materiales indígenas mexicanos.

Casa Chiva consta de 3 unidades de un dormitorio. Cada unidad tiene pisos de madera, encimeras de terrazo, cocina completa, aire acondicionado, TV de pantalla plana equipada con roku y conexión inalámbrica a internet. El edificio está situado en el centro de la península de Barra y se encuentra a 100 pasos de más de 20 restaurantes, bares, tiendas, mercados de pescado, ferry y empresas de alquiler de barcos, todo ello en un entorno seguro y privado. Great place to stay in Barra! We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit. This apartment is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, beach and lagoon. Just be aware that it can be noisy at night due to its central location. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved all the shelves, drawers and closet space. There is no door on the bathroom.

Great Barra hosts

The apartment was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfortable, and the rooftop deck was gorgeous. Our host and the property manager were very helpful and kind. The location is convenient to restaurants, a yoga/massage studio, the lagoon, and a wonderful swimming beach on the bay. The only minus is noise, as tiny Calle Sonora is a major route and some neighbors played very loud music.

Facilities were as expected. Ground floor entry meant our door was always locked & had several times persons would be stopped looking in the only window to outside.

The accommodation, property manager, local were the best. Any requests were dealt with in a very timely fashion. We found one shortfall, the noise level at times, especially in evening was louder than expected but this was the holiday season and locals had moved into area and celebrating. We will definitely be back to the area.

No door!

This is a great place to stay, with a pleasant helpful property manager. However, we had guests for dinner and not having a bathroom door was somewhat uncomfortable. You want to travel with someone who you are comfortable with in that situation.

Casa Chiva

Suite is new and convenient to restaurants and small grocery stores. Great having the option to cook a few meals instead of going to a restaurant. Nice having a small pool. One drawback is the place is located on a busy street and tends to be incredibly noisy with loud music, loud cars and loud motorbikes cruising the street until late evening.

Great Vacation

This property and Barra de Navidad both exceeded our expectations. The property is new, so the showers, toilet, furniture, fridge .... are all new and excellent. The location in Barra is ideal. It is in the centre of a 5 block radius where the best restaurants and shops are located. Every night there are entertainers and music somewhere near by. The unit"s rooftop pool area is an ideal sanctuary, with several lawn chairs, shade, sun, bbq and only 3 units in the entire complex share this area. The property manager, Abel, is very friendly and on call always. He will even take you on trips. Above and beyond the call of duty. We will always fondly remember this vacation and would return in a moments notice.

Great location

Located in the busy area of Barra de Navidad. Shops and restaurants literally around the corner. Lots of local food vendors and small grocery stores. It can be noisy at night but I found that when I went into bedroom the noise decreased significantly and I was not bothered at all, slept well. Bed very comfortable and minisplit air conditioning in bedroom. Unit is small enough that just bedroom ac is enough to keep place comfortable. Ceiling fans added to comfort. Kitchen was adequate with utensils and pans. Had everything I needed. Lots of hot water for shower. Upper deck pool and patio area was spectacular with views of the harbor/inlet area. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. I felt very safe in this location. Would stay there again. Manager Abel very nice. Couldn’t figure out how to call his cell even using country code but that was probably my issue, not his. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Location

Abel, manager has been very helpful and has attended to all our needs. A restaurant a day as long as you stay all within walking distance and on the ocean front. We make our breakfasts and eat out for dinners. Weather is sunny, warm with a cool breeze off the ocean.

Fantastic stay at Barra de Navidad!

This is a great place to stay, with fresh fish around the corner, a small store with almost all your needs, and a butcher a few blocks away. We used the AC in the bedroom for sleeping, but were fine mornings and afternoons. The 3rd floor pool is nice and clean with an exceptional view. Morning coffee up there watching the sunrise is nice as well.

Relax in Modern Accomodations

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Chiva and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartments are simple but modern with air, kitchenette, television and hot, pressured water for showering. The rooftop view is spectacular and the small pool was clean and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

A perfect location-lively and fun and so friendly

My husband and I arrived and were greeted by Abel the property Manager - he guided us into our parking spot and we then had a lovely conversation as he helped us settle in. He was so accommodating and helpful and such a sweet person. The house is brand new and well stocked - beautifully furnished. It is minutes away from everything and the hotel and houses beside house some very friendly and helpful people. It can get a bit lively at times but we love feeling that party atmosphere and we are old. We loved it so much we are booked again for next year....and can't wait. Thank you Kane and Abel for your hospitality!!

Newly renovated the 1 bedroom suite was very nice. Be prepared for lots of noise from cars outside the front living room/kitchen, but in the back bedroom with the door closed it is much more quiet. Equipped well enough with kitchen supplies and linen and I am sure they will add more niceties such as a small table for eating, toilet brush, lock on the screen door, and water dispenser. I think we were the first or 2nd occupant so they are gust getting things going. If we returned to Barra we would definitely consider staying in this suite again. It is nice and close to the ocean, lagoon and the malaquin (walk way out to the point).

Nicely equipped apartment perfect for a couple. Steps to everything Barra de Navidad has to offer. Top floor has a palapa covered deck and private swimming pool with views of the bay and lagoon. Very clean and the caretaker,Able, was helpful and able to answer any questions that came up. Although on a quiet street it can get a little noisey,especially on Saturday nights. But that didn't bother me. Close to many restaurants and the Malecon as well as bus stops,ATM,and shops and services. Highly recommended !!

Located two homes down from my first original property here in Barra. It's a great area with a lot of things to do and see. Purchasing the property made for a great opportunity to have my family come visit my parents in Mexico more often.
