Encantadora casa de campo en el corazón de los climas de Borgoña

Justo en el centro del pueblo de Savigny-les-Beaune, esta casa rural es un antiguo recolector local de uvas que ha sido completamente restaurado y se han realizado trabajos para preservar la autenticidad del lugar y tener todo el confort necesario para una buena estancia. En la planta baja, una sala de estar con cocina abierta apenas separada por un dosel de taller. Todo en 33 M2 de piedra burdeos. Una magnífica escalera de roble te lleva arriba donde tienes a la izquierda, el dormitorio y a la derecha, la S de B. El conjunto también en 33 M2. En el salón tiene un sofá cama que se puede abrir en una cama doble.

Amazing place and lovely hosts, Carolyn and Michel. The cottage is in a quaint little village and was very quiet and comfortable. Beautiful modern upgrades to a very charming wood beam two floor suite made our stay delightful. Very comfy bed and bathroom on the same level was perfect. Agree with the 5 star rating. Loved this place.

Perfect location for touring Burgundy

The property is outstanding. We had a great stay spending several nights in the quiet location. The bed was very comfortable. The location was easy to find and the check in with the owner was very easy. The kitchen is well organized and you can cook a variety of meals. Bathroom is spacious and the washer and dryer were a great asset. I highly recommend this property for a couple.

Lovely Village Cottage

Michel’s attached cottage is ideally located in the heat of Savigny-lès-Beaune walking distance to two artisanal bakeries and several restaurants. The proximity to Beaune, Dijon and the Côtés de nuit can’t be beat. Bed was extra comfortable, simple kitchen with what you need and all newly renovated.

Perfect cottage in an excellent location

Michel and Carolyn's cottage was perfect in every way. It was spacious, clean and had lots of plugs in the bathroom which was really appreciated given hairdryers and flatirons. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen very functional. You can walk into town where there are several excellent restaurants. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while you are in Burgundy.

Cute cottage in Burgundy

The cottage was nicely renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom but maintaining its old charm. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There is a well equipped kitchen with gas oven and hob if you want to self cater. Close to Beaune and local vineyards.

Absolute perfection in Sauvgny les Beaune

Michel and Carolyn have the most wonderful place. The location is perfect for walking in town or a short drive to Beaune. The home is very clean and has all updated amenities you could want. Could not recommend more highly

Carolyn and Michel were wonderful hosts during our stay for three nights 29 July - 1 August 2017. The cottage is in a courtyard with their home, but is utterly private and self-contained. The renovated cottage is comfortable, efficiently laid out and beautiful. Carolyn and Michel were attentive and warm hosts, and provided insights to the wine industry and culture of the area. This was an ideal place for us to stay in Savigny les Beaune and we could not recommend it more highly. We would stay there again without hesitation and look forward to returning within two years.

A very convenient location

Michel and Catherine were wonderful hosts. The village is located only minutes from Beaune. The apartment is two story with the bedroom and bath upstairs. We slept well as the bed was comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. Parking was just down the street in a free public parking lot. A couple of times the lot was full, but within minutes a car departed and we were able to park. We experienced a very enjoyable stay with Michel and Catherine.

Cozy and Spacious, Good location

We enjoyed the location and how this felt very much like a "farmhouse" feel. Easy access to town. All the needed supplies provided. Plenty of space. Host was easy to contact and always very responsive. They were also very helpful, offering tips and even gave us a bottle of wine. Much appreciated. We used out data for wifi (walls are super thick from the very old construction.. so wifi is spotty at times).

Very Pleasant

Enjoyed our wk long stay! Sauvigny itself is a small picturesque town with many wonderful domaines within a short walk of the VRBO; Le Château de Savigny-les-Beaune amazing to visit and Beaune only a 10 min drive. The accomodation is exactly as described, with much charm, lovely very well equipped kitchen with lots of counterspace and availability of spices, oil etc. The bathroom, including a full size washer and dryer. is on the 2nd level as is the loft bedroom. The latter has plenty of space for clothing, a desk and a very comfortable bed/bedding. We spent little time in the living room, mainly because the television is a bit small for our old eyes and limited availability of English channels but very cozy and attractively decorated. The owners, Michel and Carolyn [ a native English speaker] were so pleasant, always available to answer questions, with helpful suggestions and interesting chats. Parking was available in a free public lot a few minutes away, although able to load/unload in their driveway. The interior a tad limited re: natural light, facing a quiet side street and their building driveway. There is a nice available outdoor space to the side of the driveway equipped with a shaded long patio table and chairs. Loved meeting their 2 cats and dog too. Thank you again!

Unes super mini vacances!

Casa ideal per una parella o família amb nens petits. Molt acollidora, no li falta cap detall. Els propietaris, Michel i Carol, són encantadors i ens van recomanar els millors llocs de la Borgonya on anar. Està molt ben situada, prop de Beaune, un lloc preciós, envoltat de vinyes i cellers on fer degustacions dels seus vins. Un altre gran descobriment de França.
