BIENVENIDOS A BEACHPLACE y nuestra hermosa UNIDAD ATICO llamada "Bird’s Eye View" por nuestro hijo. Mi esposo y yo comenzamos a venir a Beachplace cuando éramos niños ... y hemos disfrutado de muchas vacaciones en la famosa arena blanca en polvo de Longboat Key. Finalmente, decidimos sumergirnos y poner nuestro paraguas en la arena en una unidad de 2 habitaciones / 2 baños recientemente renovada. Nuestra unidad fue comprada a un propietario original y estuvo en el mercado un día ... la vista es espectacular. Este edificio es nuestro favorito en Beachplace porque tiene la única vista simultánea de los terrenos exquisitamente mantenidos del resort y una vista directa del extenso Golfo de México desde el dormitorio principal, la sala, el comedor y la cocina, y como bono, la habitación de invitados da a la Bahía de Sarasota! Por la noche, la vista es absolutamente mágica desde el doble balcón con las palmas brillando frente al golfo. Nos encantan las unidades Penthouse en Beachplace porque los techos dentro de las unidades son más altos y los balcones son dos veces más grandes. Disfrute de una copa de vino con los invitados por las noches y disfrute de su privacidad por la mañana: ¡camine directamente por el control deslizante doble desde su habitación principal hacia el balcón para tomar un café sin despertar a los niños ni a sus invitados! (¡Tenemos una máquina Nespresso en el Master solo por esta razón!) Esta unidad está muy bien actualizada con gabinetes blanquecinos, encimeras nuevas de mármol y azulejos en los baños, granito y acero inoxidable en la cocina, y muebles de alta gama. ¡Listo para que te relajes y disfrutes!

NUESTRAS OFERTAS DE LA UNIDAD:
- Una cocina hermosamente remodelada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, gabinetes de color blanco roto y encimeras de granito. La unidad está equipada con todo lo que necesita para cocinar una gran comida (¡menos los comestibles!) y tener una tarde relajante en casa.
- El comedor cuenta con un ambiente íntimo para 4. ¿Tienes invitados? La mesa cuenta con una hoja extra y dos sillas adicionales.
- La sala de estar cuenta con cómodos asientos para 8 personas, una vista fabulosa del Golfo, 4K 50 pulgadas Smart TV y cuenta con un sofá cama Queen extraíble para huéspedes o nietos..
- El dormitorio principal cuenta con una cama king size, puerta de entrada corrediza de vidrio al patio, TV HD, una máquina de café Nespresso con 2 vainas de cortesía Y la mejor parte ... esta habitación ofrece una vista impresionante del Golfo de México.
- El baño principal con baño incluye un amplio armario, encimera de mármol con doble lavabo, piso cerámico, gabinetes renovados, espejos de cortesía para el techo, espejos de aumento, toallas lujosas, secador de cabello y artículos de tocador de cortesía. El champú, el acondicionador y la crema para el cuerpo de la muestra es una línea de lujo orgánica, de pequeños lotes, hecha especialmente para Birds Eye View. El inodoro y la ducha a ras de suelo con varilla de ducha ajustable están separados del vestidor por una puerta privada.
- El segundo dormitorio cuenta con una cama king size, TV HD, dos armarios grandes y un baño privado que también tiene una puerta que da al salón principal. Esta habitación tiene una hermosa vista de la bahía por la ventana doble.

Beautiful Condo and Great Location!

We absolutely LOVED staying at this condo. It was beautifully remodeled, had everything we needed, and had a great view. The pool was huge and the beach has perfect sugar sand. The owners were the friendliest we have met on vrbo. They communication everything and even went above and beyond to suggest events that were happening while we were there. We love Longboat Key and have stayed at several locations on the island, this unit is one of the BEST! Definitely top notch. Thanks for having us! :-)

Location, Location, Location & Full Gulf View

The owners of the condo John and Heather was so helpful. Our family decided last minute to visit Long Boat Key and they went out of their way to accomplish our vacation. Communication was great eitherer by text or e mail, their in laws live at BeachPlace and were friendly and helpful with their suggestions of places to see and activities . But you know that moment when you’re about to open the door to the place where you’re going to spend time with the wife and kids after 3 hour plane ride and another hour or so of driving in the dead of night. Well wow “booking done right” the condo is huge 2 en-suite bedrooms with the biggest bathroom I have every seen.My daughter practically wore out the full length mirror checking out her outfits. Walk in closet , new full kitchen stainless steel appliances granite countertops. You walk to the terrace and their it is the Gulf Of Mexico - 2 terraces bring the out side in . Great place to sit back and watch the sunsets. The grounds full pool with 2 lanes for doing laps a whirlpool that is big enough for 10 people landscaping all around the pool. There is a gym that offers Ivanko dumbbells and weight stations and an aerobic room with cross trainers and tread mills , recumbent bikes with a view of the pool deck . BeachPlace is about 10 minutes to St Armand’s Circle with all the shops and restaurants and it is an easy drive. No hesitation I would come back.

A little slice of paradise on Longboat Key!

Our month-long stay at Birds Eye View was nothing short of amazing and exceeded all expectations we had for this adventure as a family. The condo is beautiful, bright, spacious and comfortable. What really makes this condo special though is the incredible views. The straight-on, panoramic views of the Gulf from the huge balcony that spans the entire length of the condo are breathtaking. From sunrise to sunset we lived on this balcony when we weren’t at the pool or beach! Even the views of Sarasota Bay from the front of the condo were gorgeous and a few times we took chairs out to that balcony to watch the beautiful sunrise over Sarasota. You have a water view out of every window in this condo! Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay was included in the condo. It had the nicest supply of kitchen appliances, utensils and dinnerware (glass and plastic) we have ever seen in a rental. There are plenty of towels and bedding. Everything you need for the beach and pool is here: towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, pool noodles, and more. However, Beachplace supplies chairs and umbrellas out on the beach so we never even had to carry our own down! The beach here is stunning. We enjoyed countless walks on the beach from sunrise to sunset. The beach is gorgeous and the water was crystal clear and warm for our June stay. The wildlife! We saw manatees swimming right in front of Beachplace, sea turtles coming out of the water to nest at night, tons of dolpins and beautiful sea birds. Our favorites were the baby sandpipers! Sometimes the water was so calm you could just float in the water with a float and sometimes the conditions were perfect for boogie boards. We also really enjoyed the pool area. It’s a very large pool area, tons of chairs and tables and umbrellas and something for everyone – a swim lane you can sign up for to swim laps, a shallow area, deep area, hot tub and a separate baby pool. The pool water was a perfect, warm and refreshing temperature every day. The Beachplace grounds were very well kept with beautiful plants and palm trees. We felt very safe and secure on the property. The location is fantastic – centrally located on the island, a short drive to the Publix for groceries, St. Armand’s for dining and shopping and lots of great restaurants within a short drive. The owners are awesome, very friendly and were quick to respond to all of our questions from booking to check out. We can't wait to return!

Awesome!

Great views of the beach from master bedroom, balcony, living room, and kitchen. Easy access to other islands. The condo has everything needed to be at the beach: toys, towels, cooler, etc. Heather is great with communicating from beginning to end of stay. We had a great stay overall and would love to go back!

A Vacation That We'll Never Forget!

My husband and I spent ten fabulous days at this property and we didn't want to leave. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and it was perfect from the second we arrived. The penthouse has an awesome view of the pond with fountains, the well-maintained property, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. We felt at home and had everything we needed during our stay. The furniture was comfortable, extremely clean, cozy, updated, and perfect to sum it up. The pool area was was large, clean, and very well maintained. Plenty of places to sit and nice furniture. The beach was breathtaking and the sand was so soft. There were chairs and umbrellas set up but minimum due to COVID-19 which was fine with us. We appreciated the social distancing and all the precautions that were taken to keep owners/guests safe. Overall, we truly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to return. I would rate this a ten if I could!! Thank you Heather for making our anniversary extremely special! I greatly appreciate you answering my questions, concerns due to the virus, etc. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!

Awesome Stay at Birds Eye View in Longboat Key

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property. Heather Garner was very responsive to our questions. The place has a ton going for it. 6th floor view of the Gulf, huge balcony to hangout on... which we did. I have 2 kids and we enjouyed the beach snokeling and collecting shelks. Such a great beach for shell collecting. We would go over to St Arnaund for ice cream. and shopping. We went deep seafishing 15 min away chartering our own boat and had a wonderful time. We also took airboat ride down swamps and rivers.... great experiences. plus horseback riding.kids had such awesome time. this condo has great pool... huge bedrooms with each bathrooms.... just a great pkace!...I highly recommend this place!!

I WISH YOU HAD A TENNNNNN RATING FOR THIS VACATION HEAVENLY CONDO !!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. FANTASTIC CONDO, GREAT BIG BATHROOM W/ GIANT SHOWER AREA. THE PROPERTY AREA WAS HUGH WITH BIG POOLAND AREA WITH CLUB HOUSE, HOT TUB AND PLENTY OF ROOM IN ENCLOSED AREA. BEACH AREA IS PRIVATE AND VERY LARGE ( NO NUDE SUNBATHING DARN IT). NICE POND WITH FISH AND TURTLES AND PLENTY OF SHRUBS, PALM TREES AND CEMENTED WALK WAYS.. WE HAVE STAYED IN MANY HOMES IN THE ANNA MARIA BEACHES AREA AND THIS PUTS THEM ALL TO SHAME !!! EASY TRAVEL TO MANY GREAT SEA FOOD RESTAURANTS AND NIGHT CLUBS. WE WILL DEFINATELY RETURN TO THIS PARADISE.

Our parents purchased here 40+ years ago, are "original Beachplace owners" and still own in Building 10. We know a lot about the property so please feel free to ask any questions you might have. John and I have been vacationing here for over 30 years together! We are Midwesterners, and though we love our hometown, LBK sunshine and its powder white sand is contantly calling us - this is our home-away-from-home.

We have traveled the world for fun and even lived in Curitiba, Brasil for a bit...so we know what guests are looking for when they are spending time away from home. Modern amenities, great sheets and towels, a comfortable bed, and a gorgeous, safe space with a friendly staff. Most importantly, we know you want a spectacular view that makes you feel like you are on VACATION! We thought long and hard about where we would want a second home and out of all the places we have been...we can't think of a better spot than Beachplace. Because we know the resort so well, we were able to be very thoughtful in the purchase of our unit. The Penthouse Units in Beachplace are rare and they really offer the best way to enjoy what you are at LBK for...the gorgeous sunsets and outdoor living. Penthouses all have a double balcony with floor to ceiling sliders out the living room and master bedroom. We also love this particular building (Building 5) because you get a straight shot view of the water out every room inside the unit. The building sits back off the water and looks out over the resort grounds and clubhouse/pool. We love this for several reasons You have a beautiful view of the grounds in the evening with the palms twinkling in front of the vast body of water, and we love being nestled right in the middle of the resort - centrally located to everything! Tennis, the pool, beach and clubhouse. One other added bonus...we aren't affected by turtle season (we can keep our lights on year-round).

Our kids love to fish and drive their RC boats in the pond...and we can sit on our balcony and watch them while enjoying a glass of wine :) We also like to watch for dolphins out on the gulf - they surface about 10 feet from shore, and when the gulf is calm you are likely to see them right from the balcony. Also...If you are lucky enough to be in town during turtle season make sure to do a turtle walk with Mote Marine (every Saturday morning June-mid July).

Beachplace is one of the friendliest resorts you will ever find. It is also one of the safest places on the planet. I have left ipads, iphones, my watch...out on a table at the pool or in my beach bag while on a walk along the water, and the only thing you have to worry about are the crows that like to pick up shiny objects :) My kids often forget goggles/flip flops (?) and sunglasses at the pool, and when we return the next day they have been retrieved and safely tucked them into the lost and found spot.

We have great neighbors on the 6th floor - two are full time residents and one is semi-retired and lives there part-time. If you have an emergency of any kind it is nice to know you can reach out.

Beachplace has several organized activities if you are looking for social gatherings with friends, especially during high season. Water Aerobics is popular with the girls. Monday-Friday at 9:00 a.m. with Nancy. The cost is $10 per class. This takes place Jan-April rain or shine (I did this in the rain once and it was kind of fun!) This is a great place to meet your fellow Beachplace neighbors - especially if you are a long-term guest. Yoga, Book Club, Lecture Series, Wine on the Beach, movie night at the club house...watch the board in the lobby of our building for happenings. This is also where you can pick up a free local paper.


If you have plans of having no plans...Beachplace is good for that too.
