¡A solo unos pasos de la playa, Jolly Mon tiene algo para todos! Esta casa de vacaciones en Gulf Beaches cuenta con una piscina privada para un refrescante descanso del sol. (La piscina puede ser calentada por una tarifa de $ 350). ¡Disfruta de espectaculares amaneceres desde todas las habitaciones! Un área abierta de sala de estar / comedor / cocina ofrece la cantidad perfecta de espacio para relajarse por las noches y las cubiertas cubiertas ofrecen mucho espacio para disfrutar de la vista. La privacidad abunda en las dos suites principales y cada una de las tres habitaciones se abre a las terrazas cubiertas frente a la playa. El tercer dormitorio ofrece mucho espacio para los niños con dos literas tamaño queen o dos camas individuales. Televisor de pantalla plana grande en la sala de estar, televisores de pantalla plana en las habitaciones. Ventiladores de techo, reproductores de DVD múltiples, pack-n-play.

We had a wonderful stay at Jolly Mon! Everything was perfect. The house was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and clearly well cared for. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beach with stunning views. We were lucky enough to enjoy starry skies and even the Milky Way at night. We would love to stay here again!

our 3rd stay

we love Jolly Mon. this was our 3rd stay in 5 yrs. the house is located perfectly--i counted 99 steps from the house to the water. the pool is awesome and my warm-water loving family enjoys the option of paying for it to be heated. the accomodations are welcoming and comfortable. their are plenty of pool toys and beach accessories onsite, so its not necessary to pack them the host is friendly and responsive and gives clear instructions regarding all aspects of the stay. the tv and wifi reception was great. the kitchen is well-stocked with quality products (with the exception of dinner forks). all the appliances work correctly. there's just nothing negative to say, and we hope to continue our every-other-year family trips to St George Island and Jolly Mon.

Labor Day weekend

This was our third time renting this property. Overall the house is clean and you can’t beat the beachfront access. We experienced a couple of issues on this last stay, but notified owner/ property manager and they took quick action to resolve. Russell

Best Value House on the Island

I think it is the best value house on the island. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The pool, kitchen, living room, and porches were much larger than we had expected. It also looked much newer than what we thought it would from the photos. The house was cleaned to perfection before we checked in. The property owner or manager was also the most wonderful one we have dealt with. She was very communicative and upon check in we had a few questions and requests. The responses were quick. She was so nice and went the extra mile to ensure everything in our stay was perfect. A couple notes that future renters might want to know. Below the deck was a large stock of everything you could ever want. Many beach toys and chairs in various conditions (some good and some not) but there was so much more than we could ever use. Inside the house there are 4 new chairs and an umbrella. As mentioned in the listing, no beach towels are provided. It is the first beach house we have stayed that they are not provided but we brought plenty of our own. The kitchen has everything you could ever need but there is no dedicated pantry. We moved some stuff around because there are plenty of cabinets and had room to put our dry groceries. Overall it is a near perfect house. We don’t usually stay at the same house twice in St George but we are certainly already looking at booking here again because of how wonderful it was.

Best house on the island

20 steps to the sand. The ocean is your own personal oasis with this house. It’s perfect all around. The pool is way bigger than the pictures look and very deep(we loved). Kitchen well stocked and plenty towels, washcloths, garbage bags and dish soap was a plus. I truly don’t have anything negative to say. Stay in this house, you won’t regret it.

On the Beach

Great place!! Wonderful location. Furnishings a cut above your usual rental. Pool and outdoor furniture very nice. Good communication with owner: very cooperative. Bathrooms are great. Overall, a very nice experience/stay. We'll definitely be looking to come back again.

Great Location

Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and heated pool was a bonus with the kids. Having young kids this home made it enjoyable with easy access to the beach.

Great place to stay right on the beach

The Jolly Mon is a great place to stay right on the beach. The house was the perfect size for the 5 of us (4 adults and one teenager). While most of our time was spent together hanging out, the rooms were large enough where you could retreat back to your room for a nap or a little quiet time (like on the rainy day of our vacation). We cooked burgers on the green egg which was nice to have around. The beach chairs and other accessories under the house were also appreciated since we weren't able to bring our own. The updated bathrooms were very nice and everything was very clean, which can be hard to do with the salt of the ocean and the sand from the beach. My only recommendation for an improvement would be the upstairs king bed which really needs replacing as it had a couple body-sized soft spots/divots which you ultimately rolled into no matter how else you tried to sleep.

Best Fall Break Vacation

We absolutely loved the beach house and the location. A few steps and you’re on the beach. The house was exceptional and was exactly as described. Very clean!! We had 5 adults and 4 young children, the house was the perfect size for us. The bunk room with a bathroom was perfect for Gigi and her grandbabies. Both couples had their own private bedroom and bathroom. There was some flooring damage in which we were told about in advance & was told it would be replaced after bookings. The pool was a perfect size and easily accessible. I recommend paying the extra to have it heated. We just loved the convenience of the house and the closeness to the water. The back porch was my favorite spot of the house. All communication was great, all questions were answered immediately. We will most definitely rent Jolly Mon in the future.

Our second year at Jolly Mon

This was our second year at the Jolly Mon and our 5th year at SGI. The remodel downstairs bathroom was a pleasant surprise. We love the pool. Its the perfect size. The walk to the beach is super short and easy. Our only complaint was that the house had some deferred maintanence issues. The floor had a mushy spot in the living room. There was a place in the kitchen where the flooring was coming up and was very sharp.

Loved the Jolly Mon

House was just as expected- clean, updated, nicely decorated, and a beautiful view from every room! We absolutely loved being right on the beach and having a private pool (fenced for safety). The house was well-stocked for cooking, and we loved grilling on the Big Green Egg. There was plenty of beach gear- chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. We enjoyed every minute at the Jolly Mon and didn't want to leave! It's a perfect house for a large family to feel at home. We hope to stay again next year!

We love Jolly Mon!

Our 2nd stay here. The location is great. The property has a nice sized pool, which can be heated for a fee. The pool usually has some shaded areas & some sunny areas throughout the day. The beach is quite clean & soft & just an easy short walk from the house. Beach umbrellas, chairs & toys are available. There is nice parking. The home is cheerful with beach-facing windows & porches on both levels. The kitchen is well stocked with quality equipment. Beds are comfortable; bathrooms are very nice. We received a detailed welcome/instruction sheet from the owner a week before our time was to begin. No problems arose during our stay, but I have every confidence Susan or her team would have addressed it quickly. The Internet was sootty, but we think that’s an island issue. The tvs are large & worked well. The house had a few games & puzzles. Truly!— we completely enjoy a vacation at Jolly Mon & find the nearly 14 hr drive to be worth it. I have a couple small suggestions— more than an 8 piece flatware set. We were constantly washing forks & spoons; the 1st floor bathriom door at living room doesn’t close tight to lick & the 2nd floor king room had the same issue. Finally, if you go & have temperature-diverse compnions, take a couple blankets. The a/c works well & all the areas have ceiling fans, so anyone who gets cool easily may want a blanket & there were none stored in the home. As my personal FB post states, “ Jolly Mon & St George Island do NOT disappoint!”

Breathtaking Island Getaway!

We had a fabulous vacation at Jolly Mon! The ocean views are truly breathtaking and the house is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The whole family loved listening to the sounds of the ocean while enjoying the pool. That really set this house apart for us. We would love to return as soon as possible for some more Vitamin Sea!

The perfect spot for our annual family vacation! Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Jolly Mon had everything we needed for an amazing week at the beach. Step off the front porch and your toes are immediately in the sand and a few steps more to the ocean. Relaxing on the front porch, reading a book while listening to the waves was my favorite. The kids loved the private swimming pool, day and night! Our party of 8 had plenty of space to spread out. We have already booked Jolly Mon again next year!
