Engulf yourself in this renovated 'Old Florida' Beachfront paradise vacation home, Caspia of St. George Island located in the St. George Plantation has it ALL - a private pool and hot tub, private & public boardwalk to the #1 award winning sugar white sand beaches, brand new outdoor kitchen with mini fridge, gas grill, outdoor TV, outdoor shower (hot/cold), toiletry area, phenomenal swing bed and screened deck! Offering 5 bedrooms and 4 baths with new modern coastal decor and lots of spaces to relax, you will certainly enjoy ISLAND LIFE!

Caspia is located just inside the gated community of the St. George Plantation and welcomes guests to access multiple beach boardwalks, bicycle/walking/multi-use paths, nature trails, access to Bob Sikes Cut, fitness center, 2 Olympic sized swimming pools plus tennis and pickleball courts! Although in a secluded location, you are just 30 minutes by car to local restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier and State Park, historic Apalachicola's shops, restaurants and arts scene. Caspia truly delivers the best of the Forgotten Coast!

The first floor offers the majority of the sleeping quarters. Two primary bedrooms are on the beach side of the property, 1 with king bed and the other with 2 queens, flat screen smart TVs, master bathrooms and deck access with comfortable seating and a hammock for relaxing or napping. One king bedroom with a smart TV and 1 double over double bunk bedroom with a twin trundle, smart TV and DVD player. The shared hall bathroom located between the queen bedroom and bunk bedroom offers a double sink vanity. The stackable washer/dryer is located next to the shared hall bathroom.

The stairs take you up to our Grand Room, second (top) living floor that provides tons of open lounging and gaming space for your whole crew! Super comfy furniture throughout offers 180 degree spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico! Our final primary bedroom with king bed, smart TV and full bathroom with shower/tub combination is located on our second (top) living floor, just off our living room.

The fully stocked well equipped kitchen offers tons of counter space with 4 barstools, stainless appliances and a convenient stand alone icemaker. The dining table offers nearly 10 seats (2 benches & 2 chairs) along with additional table for gaming or eating that seats 4. The living area offers a smart TV, 2 large decks (1 screened and 1 open) overlooking the sugar white sand beaches and sparkling blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The couches are both pull out queen sleeper sofas for MOVIE night! Sleeping a total of 15 guests and welcoming up to 2 fur babies, Caspia is perfect for you.

The ground floor offers a super comfortable outdoor living space with an outdoor kitchen, comfortable seating, swing bed, outdoor TV, outdoor shower (hot/cold) & toiletry area. Travel down the private boardwalk to the beach OR the public boardwalk to the beach. Just before the end of the private boardwalk, there is seating and a foot wash station.

Bed Sizes: 3 Kings, 2 Queens, 1 Bunk bed (Double/Double with twin trundle), 2 Queen sleeper sofas

Pets are welcome with a $150 fee per pet. Optional pool heating is available for $75 per night.

*Please note the elevator is a residential-grade elevator. As with all residential elevators, occasional service interruptions may occur. While every effort will be made to restore operation as quickly as possible, repair times may be extended due to the limited availability of elevator technicians in our area. Elevator functionality cannot be guaranteed during your stay. Guests who rely on elevator access for mobility should carefully consider this information when booking.

Your beach vacation rental through St. George Island Vacations includes a beach gear credit that can be applied to beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, beach wagons and more!

This house was perfect! We loved having the pool as an option for the kids when the ocean was too rough. The elevator was great to help unpack. 10/10 on the air conditioning as we’ve all had experiences of homes being too hot at night to sleep comfortably. We loved this house.

The house was perfect and equipped with more than everything we needed. The ice maker didn’t work and would’ve been nice. It has mold in it btw. We were very comfortable and happy there during our inaugural annual blended family vacation. I think my only disappointment personally was the vegetation didn’t allow for a view of the beach.

Fantastic Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caspia. The house was amazing and perfect for our two large families staying together. The elevator was great for our mom. Main living area was large enough for our whole family to hang out in comfortably. Great spot!!

I wish I could separate the issues prior to arriving from the actual property review. Vrbo apparently sold the listing 3rd party to st George Island vacations. The big total in bold print on the Vrbo website was price A. They take it out in 3 payments and those payments totaled 1311 more than what VRBo quoted as price A. I got it back, but not without a fight and 9 phone calls - arguing I only wanted to pay what I agreed to. And neither VRbo nor St George island vacations were wanting to do anything about the apparent “software glitch”. That said, the house was great. A little worn but had an excellent kitchen setup for cooking for a group. The living room area was large enough for all and the pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen area was perfect! Just 2 real negatives: I wish you were allowed to trim the dune bushes right outside the back so you could see the beach and not just the water and the room with the bunk beds was hotter than the others so bring a fan. I’d go back again ( this is my 6th visit to the Plantation) but next time I’d confirm my pricing added up before I committed.

Beautiful home

This house was spectacular. And the outside is just as nice. The hot tub, outdoor shower, outside toilet, grill area and especially the screened porch were so nice to have. We had the beach to ourselves and perfect sunny weather. There were a couple of minor issues that came up and management was extremely quick to take care of it. Housekeeping can do a better job. Lots of hair still left on sinks and shower areas

The kitchen is among the most well stocked of any house we have ever rented on SGI (and we have been coming for 40 years). The living area is spacious and beautiful. It is an older house, so the bedrooms and baths are tiny, but that is to be expected and who goes to the beach to spend a lot of time there anyway? Great house, great experience, great staff! There is not much of a view, but a landscaping crew was scheduled to come on our last day (but was delayed by a storm) and that may fix that issue.

great property

host was right on all questions -- very clean and everything worked -- well stocked kitchen --2 small negatives that could not be avoided -- 1. when people are upstairs, it is very loud in the downstairs bedrooms -- nothing could be done about it, just how the house was built. 2. no ocean view from downstairs bedrooms / patio. I assumed there was a view-- there was not. Overall great property, and great service by host -- we would stay again

Absolutely best vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Caspia is THE perfect vacation home! Perfectly situated on Saint George Island! Well stocked home and great amenities. Everything you need is right there. Beach access amazing, pool was great for kids at night. Hot tub and it’s raining? Perfection! St George is perfect when you truly want to be away. Keep this place a secret for sure! We had two families and it was perfect size to spread out! I paddle boarded with dolphins, we saw rays and turtles. Coffee and a sunrise walk is highly recommended! We will be back for sure!

Perfect house, perfect location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an amazing house - beautiful view, perfect location. The screened-in porch overlooking the water is fantastic. Sunrise and sunset were both visible from the house. We've also never stayed in a house as well stocked. Beach towels were provided. The kitchen had a huge variety of cookware and utensils and dishes, all in good shape. The only thing missing was basic spices - there wasn't even salt and pepper (that we could find), so be sure to pack your own. The outdoor space is really nice - a fire pit and an outdoor TV, although the weather was too hot for us to use anything but the pool. The bedrooms are small, especially the bunk one, but the view from the main living area was so nice that no one wanted to be in their room much anyway. Overall, one of the very nicest houses we've stayed at - we would definitely stay here again!
