Great Location, Condo could use some work

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros of this condo: Very close to slope/lift...perfect for the family coming in and out skiing all day. Bathrooms were clean and updated, beds were extremely comfortable. All important things.Cons: Understand we are a very clean family before you read the rest. The floor had crumbs, fuzz and hair in various places when we checked in. The couch had crumbs all over it as well. Some of the items in the condo are so dated that they just feel gross. Like the rug in the living room, comforters, blankets. The whole place needs someone's mom to come and thoroughly clean it, throw out the decor purchased at Dollar Tree in 1995, and then give the baseboards a nice coat of clean paint. Also, the heater is an issue. Your option is burning up hot or open the windows in 20 degree weather and listen to the snow machines all night.

The weather was in the single digits for the majority of our stay, and the unit stayed very warm. We loved the indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub, and our kids had a blast too.

Sugar Mountain Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Sugar Ski and Country Club. The location was perfect for ski in/out access. The lift is just 100ft away from the unit. The check in/check out process was simple and smooth. The unit 224 is a bit dated and could use a couple of updates to the trim and cabinets but overall had everything we needed for the stay and was nice and warm during the cold weather. Would definitely come back again.

Nice condo w great view

We booked a last minute trip to the mountains with our two daughters. The condo was perfect for us. It was clean and had nice kitchen, deck. We’d definitely stay here again!

No Snow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was recently updated and was quite nice. The building is a bit dated. Also, we booked at Sugar Ski and Country b/c it was located at the Oma's Meadow slope (formerly Big Red). However, this slope was not open. No snow at all on the slope. While we are able to access the slopes on the far side of the property, it was on a more difficult slope and not open to night skiing. I will think think twice before booking at this property again given this challenge to slope access.
