La casa del río - Fly Fishing Paradise

Disfruta de más de 1250 pies de acceso privado en la famosa rama este del río AuSable mientras te hospedas en esta casa recientemente renovada de Adirondack. Este río es mundialmente conocido por su pesca con mosca. La amplia extensión con piscinas, rocas y áreas abiertas profundas proporciona una acción emocionante de las truchas. Una playa privada aislada es una característica especial de nuestra propiedad.

Originalmente construida en 1840, esta casa tiene paredes de pino, pisos de madera noble y una decoración rústica que complementa el entorno natural. Esta casa para no fumadores, tiene una gran cocina comedor, tres dormitorios, sala de estar y estudio con un montón de espacio para familias numerosas. Recorra más de cinco acres que incluyen prados abiertos, bosques de pinos o siéntese en el porche cubierto para disfrutar del sonido y la vista del agua corriendo.

En este sitio hay un granero de 24 x 26. Una calle tranquila presta fácil acceso a la propiedad. Las tierras del estado de Nueva York directamente frente a la propiedad protegen la privacidad de los pescadores, nadadores y amantes del sol. La costa tiene áreas de playa de arena y es lo suficientemente grande como para armar una tienda de campaña, mantas para un picnic y reclinarse en sillas de salón. La propiedad está a lo largo del curso de bicicleta Ironman. Estamos ubicados en la frontera Keene / Upper Jay.

True Adirondack experience! Nothing could be better if you want to have a remote, clean, and comfortable place to stay while visiting the area. It is close to everything you want to see, yet you feel alone tucked between the woods and the river. Not a far walk to a hiking/biking trailhead which was a pleasant surprise. The hosts are amazing! They were so accommodating and helpful. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. They have done a lot to this cabin to make it a great experience.

Oh my goodness! 10/10. I highly recommend this cozy cabin! Great location right by the river, wonderful local restaurants, close to Whiteface and Lake Placid area. This cabin had everything we needed plus some! It was nice to be able to use the wood stove when we got back from a long day of skiing. The beds could not have been more comfortable! The communication was excellent. There is so much to do in this area! We hope to come back and do some of the amazing hiking trails. There were so many games at the cabin for our boys to play! Our stay could not have been any better!

Location can’t be beat. Great hiking and swimming close by and a beautiful drive to Lake Placid for more activities. The property has an incredible beach and fire pit. The house has everything you need including a washer and dryer for cleaning off clothes after big adventures. We loved our visit.

Incredible place to stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at the river house. The river is beautiful and fun to relax by and play in. The location is perfect.. within easy range of a bunch of great hikes, swimming holes, and Lake Placid. We enjoyed making s’mores and star gazing. We did some cooking and grilling and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Home with River Access!

Everything was perfect for our stay at the River House. We found the address easily and check in was no problem. The house was clean and well stocked, and while there was no air conditioning, there were multiple fans that we used during our stay. The fire pit clearing across the road was awesome, and the river access was amazing! We spent so much time enjoying the river, floating on the provided inner tubes, and playing in the swimming hole. We might be back next year, we loved it so much! Highly recommended!

Our second Summer at the River House and it was just as wonderful as our first year. We've already booked a Fall weekend. The location is perfect for high peaks activities and the river is so relaxing.

Memorable stay at the Riverhouse

What a beautiful home! It was more spacious than we expected and filled with ADK character and charm. Everyone in our family loved hanging out by the Ausable, exploring the shore and tubing. A very special place!

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverhouse. Everything was as described. The location was perfect and the host was excellent at communication. We highly recommend this place - close to lots of hikes as well as Olympic sites/attraction in Lake Placid. The host provided us with lots ideas of things to do and places to eat.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Mark and I had been visiting the Adirondacks for years, spending time doing what we love to do when we aren't working: hiking; biking; skiing; kayaking; and paddling. We stayed at the River House our first summer as guests and fell in love with it. When we heard it was for sale we decided to take the plunge to have a place of our own... it has changed our lives.
