We had a terrific stay. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well-stocked. After a long day of hiking we were all able to shower without running out of hot water. There were games and puzzles, and smart TVs so we could login to our streaming services to watch the game or movies at night. The cabin is super conveniently located close to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake so lots of options for restaurants. We had a bit of trouble with the pull-out couch (the head rest seems to need to be locked in a slight upright position rather than flat), and because of the snowstorms there was quite a bit of noise through the night with snow plows cleaning the roads. That said, the roads were totally fine to drive on despite wintry mix/snow, which we appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Absolutely lovely small cottage with fenced in yard very pet friendly, extremely nice renters. Very good location right between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid will definitely consider renting it again.

This is a beautiful house to stay in. There's everything you need and plenty of room. Looks like it was newly remodeled. We were very comfortable here. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the area!

Three of us stayed for two nights at the cabin. It was plenty big for all of us so we weren't tripping over each other. We enjoyed the bright, comfortable living room with adjoining dining/game room. There wasn't anything that we wish we had. There was plenty of cookware and dishes. There was a nice screen house with comfortable furniture in the backyard. It is right on the main street but we didn't notice the street noise in the house.There is a gas station/convenience store with a deli within walking distance. It is right between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake so we found it convenient to get to places.The house was very clean when we got there. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone - singles, couples, families.

We absolutely loved our stay in Ray Brook. Madi has a lovely little home with all the amenities. Super clean, super cute and comfy. The fenced-in yard was great for our dogs, though I will note, if you have a very tall or escape artist dog, the fencing in the bottom of the yard is not very tall. But I loved the privacy of no one nearby!We had very hot and humid weather so we had the AC units going all week and couldn’t hear any road noise at all, but I did wonder if it would have been noticeable without all the white noise. Overall, the location can’t be beat and Madi was a great host!

Wonderful stay in the ADK’s

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is conveniently located between the high peaks for hiking and the Saranac chain of lakes for paddling. Nice fenced in yard to play with the pup and rail trail close by for runs and walks. Everything was clean and well kept at the house. It was nice having a full kitchen to make our own meals, a good roof over us during the rainstorms and A/C when it was hot. We will keep this house in mind next time we head to the Saranac-Placid area!
