Waterfront Oyster Farmhouse y Hunting Lodge-Built 2018

Relájese y absorba la belleza de vivir en el agua en nuestra propiedad de 23 acres frente al mar en Harris Creek, entre St. histórico Michaels y la encantadora isla Tilghman. Nuestra familia ha vivido en este cuerpo de agua durante 10 generaciones y nos encantaría compartir el ambiente con su familia o grupo de amigos.

La casa fue diseñada por el arquitecto DC, Richard Leggin, y se completó en octubre de 2018 con 5,000 pies cuadrados de increíble espacio habitable. Hay un nuevo muelle de 140 pies y un arrendamiento de acuicultura de ostras de 5 acres ubicado en la propiedad. ¡Lo invitamos a observar las operaciones de nuestro negocio familiar de ostras, Harris Creek Oyster Company, y tal vez probar el producto! Las ostras son un producto ecológico y sostenible que beneficia a la bahía de Chesapeake.

La casa de campo tiene un plan de piso amplio / abierto con corredor adyacente y garaje separado. We had a wonderful stay on the Chesapeake! Everyone loved the house. It was super comfortable, spacious and perfect for our large group. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also comfortable, clean, and inviting. The host was responsive and provided some lovely local wine and other goodies. Don't hesitate booking this home. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Our host was gracious, the home inside and out was extremely well stocked. The swimming pool was a big hit with the family. Good crabbing at the end of the dock was great! If there was something we missed it was a TV in the Master Bedroom. That would have been nice.

It was our third time staying at the farmhouse and the experience is better every time! Our family absolutely once again enjoyed everything that the house, property and overall area has to offer. As usual, everything was fantastic and we had additional family staying at other locations in the area which made for a memorable time. Again, amazing if you enjoy spending time together away from the congestion and issues of other vacation locations while soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the property and location.

Perfect place for a aecluded retreat yet 15 min from town. Great feature is baby pool connected to the main pool. Plenty of space for family gathering. Kitchen is spacious and easy to use as gathering place. Outside screened porch is a winner. Yard is fantastic for dogs to run and kids to watch deer and rabbits. Overall fantastic retreat where pure quiet meets luxury living.

Perfect getaway for a long weekend. The home owners thought of everything for the enjoyment of the stay. There was no need to bring extra supplies which does happen with some homes. I would definitly stay at this home again. Everyone in our group was very pleased. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! The house is even more impressive in person than it is in the photos. It is beautifully designed, spacious, exceptionally clean and has everything we could have asked for to enjoy a relaxing vacation.The setting is truly spectacular and so peaceful. The waterfront, dock, pool, and incredible views made the property feel like our own private retreat. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the pool or on the screened in porch to enjoy the peace and privacy. The house itself is extremely comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, while the common areas gave us great spaces to spend time together. Everything felt high-quality and very well maintained.We also really appreciated the location. While it's peaceful and secluded, it is still close enough to St. Michaels so restaurants, shopping, and things to do are an easy drive away.The owners were wonderful to work with and clearly take great pride in this home. You can tell they have put a tremendous amount of thought into making guests comfortable and creating a truly special experience.We would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a beautiful, private waterfront getaway on the Eastern Shore, this house is hard to beat.

Annual family vacation to the Easternshore

We have been visiting the Easternshore area for about 20 years. This property is one of the best places in the area. It is clean and has all the amenities and supplies we needed, including a lot of seasonings and spices. The owners are responsive to your needs. I'd recommend the property those looking to spend a quiet get away in the Chesapeake Bay area.

This house is a masterful modernization of the traditional Eastern Shore vacation. Imagine a beautiful white farmhouse on 20 secluded acres, surrounded by water, wildlife, and everything that makes the Eastern Shore special—but with all the comfort and conveniences of a modern, updated home. Even then, this place will exceed your expectations.We’ve spent years renting old farmhouses throughout Talbot County, and this was easily the best combination of authentic Eastern Shore character and modern comfort we’ve found.The house was also the best-stocked rental we’ve stayed in during 15 years of vacation rentals. The host was extremely responsive and provided all the basics and more. Even the kitchen stood out—quality plates, silverware, cookware, and utensils instead of the worn-out, mismatched “hand-me-down kitchen” you so often find in rentals. Everything felt intentional and well cared for.We spent most of our time on the screened porch enjoying the incredible water views and wildlife. The long dock was another highlight, offering beautiful open-water views while still being nicely protected from the wind.We absolutely loved this property and would return without hesitation. It truly captures the best of the Eastern Shore.

2nd stay as good as the first!

This beautiful and spacious home is comfortable, well-appointed, and perfect for a family to enjoy indoor and outdoor time together. The layout of the house also allows people to have privacy or quiet time away from the group. The pool is a highlight as is the gorgeous and well-equipped kitchen. Already booked for next year!

Wonderful house and location

A group of eight, including four children, we had a wonderful time staying at the house, and enjoying the expansive grounds and waterfront. We also really enjoyed the pool. The house has everything you would need, and is large and very comfortable. The location is also great, just minutes from St. Michaels. Thanks also to our excellent hosts for the welcome gift! Much appreciated. Overall, highly recommended!

This house was stocked to the brim with items for the kitchen, bedrooms, outside entertainment..., etc. I have never vacationed at a home with that many kitchen accessories, spices, cooking utensils, oils, flour, sugar, salt and pepper, paper towels... The house is beautiful as well as the property.

We loved the house and the location. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped, and the welcoming flowers. Much appreciated. A couple of suggestions. As with all rental properties, it’s almost impossible to keep the knives sharp. A knife sharpener would be very helpful. Coming down the main staircase was a little dicey in certain light as there are no treads on the stairs to help distinguish the edge. Installing stair treads would improve safety. There is a drip in the kitchen sink as well as in the primary bath on the second floor in the sink closest to the window. Thanks again. Will be back.
