'Cottage Cayman by the Sea' playa de arena blanca - precio económico

Cayman Cottage by the Sea es un Caribbean Cottage de dos pisos y dos habitaciones que es absolutamente perfecto para el viajero con presupuesto limitado.

Situado en el lado sur (playa) de la carretera en la tranquila Colliers, en el East End de Gran Caimán, que está literalmente a unos pasos de una playa de arena blanca en polvo virgen. Ubicado entre exuberantes plantas tropicales, palmeras y cocoteros, hay una gran terraza en el segundo piso para leer o tomar el sol con una vista fabulosa del océano.

Recientemente, la cocina ha sido completamente renovada e incluye un lavaplatos, vitrocerámica, horno de microondas / convección, refrigerador de tamaño completo, placa para salpicaduras de mosaico de vidrio y encimeras de granito.

La cabaña está a solo 10 minutos del nuevo Hospital Shetty de Cardiac Care, que se encuentra en High Rock. Esta es la opción perfecta costo, baja si tiene familiares que están en el hospital y que desea permanecer cerca.

El 'Cottage Cayman by the Sea' está totalmente equipada con ropa de cama, vajilla y utensilios de cocina. Es ideal para 4 o 5 adultos. El dormitorio principal del piso principal tiene una cama queen. Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I stayed in the cottage which was comfortable and met all of our expectations. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises each morning from the deck with our coffee. We enjoyed sitting on the amazing beach, swimming in the new pool, snorkeling around the dock, and kayaking in the ocean. All in all a great stay.

Nice quiet. Private little cottage

The experience was very nice. From the booking, to checking in, and description of the house and area. Windy a lot of the trip for us, but the beach out front was one of the nicest walking up and down the neighborhood.

If you're looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Isolated and quiet with great beaches. Solid dining options near by, water sports near by, very chill vibe. The beach front location was a great place to decompress without the tourist crowds of the West side. The recent hurricane washed a lot of plastic onto the sand of East End Colliers Point, hopefully it's getting cleaned up as it's prevalent while you're snorkeling inside the cove of the breakwaters as well as when you walk up the beach.The Cayman Cottage was okay for 6 days. The photos of the property are quite dated. Still, a comfortable stay for early season mid-November. The pool was great, the beach front ocean was great, but the hot tub never worked during our stay. Neither did the locks on the Cottage. We had to devise an exit strategy every night to leave for dinner. Eventually the battery keypad died and we had no means to lock the property the last two days of our stay. All of this was communicated to the host.. A new lock was on the patio table as we were loading the car to leave. I understand that we were early in the season, however, the property looked like an active construction site on all sides littered with rusted equipment, pallets of flooring, pieces of exterior trim, a dead air conditioning compressor, and exposed electrical near the pool. I'm sure it's been rectified as the season begins, however, the overall appearance of the property was a bit of a letdown.

Just Awesome

The place worked out great for us. Most times there was absolutely nobody else as far as you could see either direction on the beach! The snorkeling under the old dock in front of this property is very good! Tukka restaurant, Morrits and the dive bar were all near by for good food and drinks. Property staff was very welcoming.

Quiet neighborhood by the sea

This was most appropriate for a couple, or a couple with kids. Our visit was relaxing and peaceful which we really needed.

Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I chose this place for our honeymoon destination and it was perfect. We were out of town and it was nice and quiet. The beach was well kept and the ocean was SO warm. We would love to come back!

Great, private location

We had a great time at the property. Enjoyed being away from the more crowded part of the island. Loved the really private beach and the kayaks/SUPS. The space is nicely appointed and the host was gracious and responsive. We will be back!

Girls Trip 2023

Such a beautiful location and home for our vacation! East side of the island with our own private beach. Lorraine has kayaks, even found us snorkeling equipment!! 5 of us and more than enough room to stretch out. We are definitely going back!! We felt like a park of Lorraine’s family.

Lazy Days on the Beach

We really loved how we were right on the beach. Yes, our cottage was behind the main house, but it's still right there! It was great to just walk out to our own private beach and not worry about hauling all our stuff or crowds. We also really enjoyed using the provided kayaks and paddle boards. There was plenty of interesting sea life to see snorkeling around the dock. Cottage was cozy with plenty of space to sleep and hang out. It was a pleasant surprise that both bathrooms each had a shower! Deck and patio areas were lovely and picturesque. I recommend Tukka restaurant for future visitors! We had zero issues needing owner attention while we were there.Feedback to owner: Need new can opener (neither worked well). We would have liked a TV upstairs to watch from the lovely large couch. A broom or handheld vacuum handy for sweeping away tracked in sand would be nice.

Cayman Cottage By the Sea

We celebrated our wedding anniverasary at the cottage. It was absolutely beautiful! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. Lorraine greeted us when we got there. The cottage was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed having our own private beach. The island was beautiful! There was plenty to see and do. The local food was delicious. Our favorites were One Stop, Big Tree BBQ, Vivine's Kitchen and The Italian Kitchen. We would definitely return.

Peaceful Paradise

Totally enjoyed our stay. Location is in the East End of the island, which is away from the bustle of cruise ships/7-mile beach. Private beach with beautiful sunrises. Affordable and modern accommodations. Only hiccup was thought we would be the only ones on the property. There is actually 5 rental units. But, we met several couples and it only enhanced our stay. Lorraine, the property manager is a gem and she is there to make your stay great!. Will definitely go back.

Cozy Beach Cottage

This property was perfect for my family of 3. The location was on the East side of the island, away from the cruise ships and hustle and bustle of tourists. It was quiet and very comfortable. A car was necessary and the best way to explore the island. Mother nature threw us a bit of a curveball with the sargassum (seaweed), but we were able to swim at the private beach with no problem. Water shoes are recommended. Our best meals were at Tukka, Big Tree BBQ and Over The Edge. When we return, we will definitely stay at this property. It was great. Exactly as described and excellent communication with the property management.

A cute, clean place in an idyllic location

We had a truly wonderful time staying at the Cayman Cottage by the Sea. Sandra responded to all of our messages promptly, was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant to communicate with. The property manager Alden was amazingly prompt, capable and really helpful, too. The cottage is very homey, clean, well-stocked with plenty of towels and is in very close proximity to the beach. The location is fantastic if you want to avoid the typical resort crowds. One of our favorite things during our stay was watching the sunrise every morning from the main deck, which has a lovely view of the ocean, just steps away from our door. Sandra provided a great list of places to eat, things to do, and other helpful information about the area. We tried a couple of the restaurants she recommended, and the food and service was terrific. Based on our all-around great experience here, we highly recommend this property.

Relaxing

If you want a quiet place to relax that is close to the beach—this is it. The water was great. There is an ocean view from the upper deck. We had some internet issues initially, but Lorraine was helpful. The upstairs bath has a tub with hand sprayer but no stand up shower. There is a small grocery store and liquor store a few minutes away. We loved Taco Cantina—go on a Thursday for 2 for one tacos and margs, but call ahead for a reservation. We used the kayaks but did not use the hot tub. The kitchen had adequate housewares. This is the quiet side of the island/-about 40 min from Georgetown, so plan accordingly.

Great Place to Stay!

The location is perfect-- the East End really allowed us get away from cruise ship crowds and tourists. Yet, when we wanted to go to 7-mile beach, it's just a 45 minute drive. It does have several great snorkeling sites, too. We would recommend renting a car to stay at the cottage, then you are free to explore the entire island. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. It is super clean and it has a nice lay-out. Nadine, the owner, is wonderful-- we truly enjoyed talking with her and she was very helpful. She ensured that we had everything we needed-- she even got a pizza pan for us, so we could cook pizza for our kids! She is a fun person, and her energy spread to make our visit fun. The beach out front is gorgeous-- with very few people in the area. The old dock makes a wonderful habitat to many species of colorful fish, so we snorkeled here daily! We highly recommend the Cottage by the Sea. (Hi, Nadine! Thank you!)

A Great Vacation

My friend and I rented this cottage and absolutely loved it. We loved that it was on the east end of the island, away from the tourist area yet close to Rum Point, the most awesome beach ever. Gary and Nadine were very cool and we had many laughs with them. There was plenty do to nearby, went to Rum Point everyday which was about 15 minutes away. The cottage was great, so cute and comfortable. We were very happy we had chosen to stay here...it really made us happy...we had such an increduble time and will definitely come back...just a few notes, not negatives..the staircase upstairs is fairly narrow and probably not good for "large adults"...the beach right out front of the place is beautiful, but not good for swimming as it's rocky and weedy..but like I said Rum Point is 15 minute drive...Over the edge is a great place to eat (on the way ro Rum Point)..the island is very easy to get around and driving on the left was no problem....this is a beautiful island and this cottage was a fabulous place to stay....so loved it.....the weather at the beginning of April was spectacular...

You will meet Lorraine --- your property manager. She is your point of contact once you reach the island. Great sense of humour and infectious laugh. You'll enjoy meeting her. She's on the property very early in the morning, and pops in throughout the day. If you need anything at all, just ask her.

This quaint cottage is located literally steps away from a powdery sand beach and ocean that is good for swimming or snorkelling. Guests have scuba dived here too, but it's quite a long swim out to the reef.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It's a very economical alternative if you have a lot of children or 2 families travelling together with kids. The 2nd floor is one huge bedroom with a total of 5 beds. Perfect for 2 or 3 adults and kids, too small for more than 3 or 4 adults.
