Great location, average condo

Good location. Kitchen vent needs cleaning and some of the living room walls need minor repairs. Bed in the master is extremely firm. Couch is worn out and needs replaced.

the room was very nice and had most of the kitchen utensils/gadgets needed elevators were prompt. view was nice. the icemaker in fridge needs to be looked at. it worked well but during use would kick freezer door ajar and defrosted on us our first night…. other than that one thing it was nice

It was a lot of issues for one with 8yr old twins and a working mom it was no internet the whole stay ..Called to request to get it fixed and know one came ..For Two the condo only had two dry off towels and two wash towels to bath with and that’s with a family of 4 🙄 3 one of the bathroom sinks was stopped up and you couldn’t use it at all ... And last the dish washer didn’t work and it had food still inside it from the last family that rented it out...Called to request for towels twice and was told someone called me to set up time frame to give me the towels but that didn’t happen at all.. Oh yeah!! At the resort they can’t give out towels you have to get them from the people you’re renting from 👎🏾🤔..I will never rent from them again but I will stay at the Resort because it was nice but this company was awful.. Just call the The Palms resort and rent a condo from them my advice 🤷🏾‍♀️

Best place

This place was very nice, and clean. My family really love the space. My three children didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much! My only problem was the children room plus didn’t work. But other then that, perfect place and view. We’ll be coming back again. Thanks so much.

Fantastic week!

It was an amazing week and we loved the condo! We will absolutely be coming back to Destin and will be staying in the same room as it was accommodating in every way. The only thing I would change is to update the couch as it was very used and not comfortable. Other than that, A+!!

Condos are very nice...great view of the Gulf

The Palms of Destin in general are very nice and offer a really great view of the Gulf and the pool! Room 2801 could use a little TLC...starting with a new couch and some updated and working TV's...there are 3 TV's in this room...one didn't work at all...the other 2 turned on and you could get the weather channel only...we called Vacasa for maintenance and they came to look at it, but the gentleman was puzzled...Vacasa closed our ticket thinking it was solved, but when we called they opened another ticket and nobody ever showed up...they finally called after we checked out and were already home...overall, we enjoyed out stay with Palms of Destin...the amenities were awesome and the view was gorgeous and the area and beaches were amazing...

This place was perfect for our family getaway. There was plenty of space, living room has a sofa bed, kitchen had all the essentials. The resort was great; my son gives the pool an A++, I liked that there was a pool, heated pool and hot tub. Specialty drinks were good, bartenders were friendly, comedy show was funny, the onsite restaurant has delicious sweet potato fries. Balcony view was awesome, I definitely recommend!

Great view, great beach close

Pros and cons with the pros outweighing the cons. Air is cold, water was hot, beds were comfortable, great view and everything worked. Second full bed is a plus at this resort. Paint and couch could use some TLC. Resort itself was just OK, maybe we picked a bad time of the year, but could not use the pool due to Kids running crazy in and around the pool and and open and allowed smoking policy anywhere in the pool area, just not enjoyable, especially the cigarette smoke. Would recommend adult only area with a dedicated smoking area where you can choose to be in it or not. Close drive to the beach, you can walk but not the best way and once on the beach, actual open area is small and surrounded by other resorts cordoned off with "private beach" ropes. Drove to the park beach and it was awesome. It is not that far of walk either or there is a shuttle if you do not have a car. More room and spread out on a great beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo was clean and tidy however when we opened the sofa bed we couldn't locate the sheets for the mattress so my granddaughters just slept on their blankets that they brought with them. The balcony doors could use a little work, very difficult to slide open but loved the view. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for my family!

First(and most importantly) the condo was sooo clean! I’m a crazy lady when it comes to cleanliness, and I was so happy with the condition of this property. I vacuumed and did laundry daily, so a better vacuum would have been nice(but I do realize they can get tore up easily and not a lot of people probably want to do all of that while vacationing). The living room does have a smart tv(not stated in description) so my husband and girls got to watch their Netflix! Wait for elevators was always super fast all week, and the property is the first one off! No walking long hallways, while hauling all of your kids stuff! We had a great time, and will definitely stay here from now on.

The only Vacasa rental with 2 full bedrooms not a bunk beds and rare in Palms unit with 2 separate balconies. Extremely clean- very comfortable mattresses..Beautiful golf and pools view from large balcony located high enough so no noise. Largest heated hot tub I ever seen with very warm water so it is not weather dependent. Previous complaints regarding crossing busy road walking to the beach are no valid anymore as city put the street lights so it is only 7 min walk.I am making summer reservation- paid 400 per night at Hilton last year for 400 sq dark room with no kitchen- this is a bargain

Great condo for a 2-couple vacation

We vacationed with another couple. Looked for a two master suite unit but that was hard to find. Settled on this and all were pleased. Loved that each room had a balcony. The shower in the hall bath is FABULOUS! Complimentary spices and coffee would have been a nice touch. It's time for the carpets to get a deep cleaning and to replace the comforters. Wi-fi was unavailable throughout our stay, which nixed our Netflix night, but we enjoyed most of our waking hours outside of the room.

Good space in our unit. The property was family friendly and a good location.

We had a great time and there was plenty soacw for our group of 4 adults and 2 small children. Safe, clean, and good location. NOT walking distance to beach-that was disappointing but not a deal breaker.
