A solo 250 metros del telesilla Chili Express. Condo bien amueblado con una vista de la pista de esquí desde la sala de estar. 2 dormitorios, 2 baños. Cómodamente duerme 6. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen con cubierta tipo almohada, el segundo dormitorio tiene una cama completa con almohada y hay un nuevo sofá cama en la sala de estar. También hay una cama plegable para una séptima persona, pero el espacio es estrecho cuando se configura. La sala de estar / cocina / comedor se calienta con una estufa de gas y los dormitorios y baños tienen calefacción eléctrica. También hay una chimenea de gas en el dormitorio principal, que no produce mucho calor, pero proporciona un gran ambiente. La cocina está muy bien equipada para sus necesidades de cocina y la mesa de la cocina tiene capacidad para 6 personas. Hay una gran terraza de gran tamaño fuera de la sala de estar con vistas a la zona de esquí. Apartamento de tamaño lavadora-secadora en la unidad. Hay Internet de alta velocidad y Direct TV con el paquete de entretenimiento (unos 140 canales), así como una videograbadora y algunas películas en CD y una selección de juegos y libros. Excellent location

The place was perfect for our little ski trip and well equipped. Super cozy. Easy walk to the lifts and made for perfect place to grab lunch and rest before hitting the slopes for the afternoon. Unfortunately the people above we’re doing some remodeling early in the morning but thankfully we we’re heading out to ski. My only complaint was there was so much dog hair all over the rug and furniture. We have pets at home and totally understand you can’t get it all but not sure if it was noticed by cleaning crew. We would recommend this place and would have booked for our trip coming up in a couple weeks but someone beat us to the place.

Comfy and convenient

Location is great to get to and from lifts and rentals. Ed was a good host and very responsive the one time we needed him. Angel Fire Chalets are showing some age for sure but this is a cozy small place, we had 5 and it was a little tight ( 2 adults and 3 children) but we spent most of the day skiing so we just came back to the condo, ate and passed out. Thanks Ed for sharing your place.

Upstairs neighbors too loud.

It was nice place to stay, clean and easy access to the ski lift. It will be great vacation if upstairs neighbors not too loud after 10pm. Can't sleep early because of noise. Overall we like the place, maybe next time we need to bring ear plug 🙃

Perfect ski lodge!

Roomy, clean, comfortable, beautiful sights. Very close to the main ski lift! The owner was great to communicate with through texts or calls. We had absolutely no problems. This Chalet made our stay an amazing ski vacation for my husband, me, our daughter and her two children. We want to come aback to Angel Fire to ski next year and this will be our choice place to stay! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

This chalet is very nice and it is 1 minute walking distance from the ski resort, very clean, warn and equipped with everything you need for your stay, the owner was very helpful on everything I needed to know about the chalet.

Excellent stay and SOO close to the lift

The property was so cozy and perfect for our family of six. Every aspect of the chalet was thoughtful and perfect for a ski weekend. It was less than a 5 minute walk (with all our ski gear) to the lift. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend this chalet!

So close to the lift!!

Location is key with this rental! You honestly could NOT be more close to the lift--it's a 30 second bike ride. We came to the mountain for downhill biking, and it was a great trip, overall. The kitchen was well appointed, and the deck served as a great place to store bikes during our stay. A very comfortable "home base" for our Angel Fire stay.

Our One-month Stay

Comments. 1. The condo is immaculate and comfortable. 2. Lovely location. Very scenic area. 3. Everything works. 4. Spacious shaded deck. 5. Nice neighbors. 6. Host/owner Ed from Albuquerque nice guy, very attentive. 7. Beautiful hiking trails (easy to moderate) 5 minutes away; abundant wildlife. 8. 40 minutes to Taos. 9. 30 minutes to gem of a town Red River. 10. Nice store 5 minutes away with groceries, gas, and every kind of liquor and beer imaginable. 11. We hated to leave, and we will rent this property again.

Great place to stay

This is my second time to stay at this condo and both experiences were great! The owner answers all questions quickly and is very helpful. The condo is always clean and very functional. It is accurately represented. It’s a perfect location and just a nice place to stay.

Ed is the best!

Our trip started just as the COVID-19 crisis was ramping up. Ed was incredibly hospitable and understanding throughout the few days we were there. We were so impressed and grateful for his kindness. We would stay in the condo again, just because of him! But it just so happens that the condo is super cozy, incredibly clean, and in an ideal location--especially for skiing and mountain activities. We will be back--for sure.

Excellent Location!

I was very pleased with the property as far as the size, comfort, and especially the location to the lifts. It truly is a very short walk to the lifts which allows you to not have to deal with the hassle of driving, parking, or taking a shuttle. The property was very clean and there is a lot of living space for my family of 4. I also appreciated the little things provided by the owner that I typically don't see in rentals: hand sanitizer, laundry detergent, and shampoo. The rental value of this property can't be beat based on the location. Thank you!

Great stay

Everything about this chalet was great. The location couldn't be better unless the front door opened to the Chile Express. Everything was super clean and no issues on function. My only suggestion is maybe a little better direction on the thermostats. Heating worked great, just had to get a little more info from the owner on how they worked. But he was quick to respond, as in within a minute or two. I look forward to staying there again on our next ski trip.

The cabin was closer to the ski lift than expected. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Ed’s communication was perfect and answered all Our questions. We had a blast.

I am a retired civil/structural engineer who spent 45 years in the construction industry. My wife is a semi-retired real estate agent, licensed in New Mexico. We have 3 grown children and five grandchildren. We like to ski, play golf, travel, exercise and work on home improvement projects. We frequently rented out the property from 2005 until 2014, then did not rent it for four years, then began renting it again in 2019.

This property is in a great location if you ski in the winter or mountain bike in the summer. You can walk to or from the ski hill in less than 5 minutes. During the summer months, the over-sized main deck which is equipped with a table and several chairs is a great place to relax, take in the scenery or eat your meals.
