We had a great stay! Clear instructions, accommodating check-in process. The place was neat and clean. The location was great for the activities we had planned. It was great to have parking included.

Our stay in Kauai was nothing short of absolutely perfect and a lot of it had to do with Janet’s amazing home. The kitchen was perfect, the bed was comfortable and it was such a peaceful neighborhood. Janet made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We will definitely be booking again when we need a place to stay in Kauai.

Renter beware!!! Paper thin ceiling and walls. If a large person or someone who can’t sleep is upstairs, you will be awake all night!Can hear conversations, cabinet doors shutting, every step above, tv, toilet. Literally everything.Property owner says better luck next time.She listed the noise issue previously, but took it off the ad. Told me if I wanted peace and quiet, I should have paid lots more money and stayed somewhere else. She also said I was the only person to complain and it is my fault for not asking about the noise prior to booking. Both untrue.VRBO is contacting her about adherence to their transparency for truth in listings policy.If I had to do it again. I would choose anywhere but here.Look for other reviews about noise. She says better luck next time. Who says that? She actually said I should have recognized laid back local vibe to mean paper thin walls and noise! Unbelievable.No good at all.

We were thoroughly pleased that the pictures were actually what we got and more! The condo is very spacious and clean. We were so surprised that we actually had a full kitchen. Janet (the owner) is responsive and communicates well. The neighbors were a little loud but other than that we very much so enjoyed our stay.

Great property in a really nice neighborhood.

We loved this rental. The host is fantastic and very responsive. There was an issue with the internet on the 4th of July when we got there and she was back to us in minutes with a scheduled appointment for the internet company. Thats on Independence Day in the US..... The only issues were 1. No AC, which is common to not have AC in HI, but its something to keep in mind. We kind of saw it as a positive as it forced us to acclimate to the weather/humidity. 2. The windows are great and let in tons of air. IF you have the curtains open. But, if you have the curtains open then you dont have any privacy. The windows that open are on the bottom so if there were blinds or curtains that covered the stationary top 2/3 part of the windows then you could have the curtains closed with privacy and air flow. We should have taken a picture to explain it better. There was plenty of bath towels, beach towels, and bedding.Janet also has a variety of items for beach use. She also had a cooler, water filter, and ice cube trays.The unit was very clean! Shoes are not worn inside home in HI and we did not feel any sand or dirt on the floor.

We Love This Place!

Everything was even better than we had imagined! Comfortable king sized bed, Completely stocked kitchen, All of the beach necessities, Fantastic vibe at the Sandpiper, Perfect pool and BBQ area. Our host was available, but not intrusive. It was perfect!

Great stay! Anini beach snorkeling was fun. Green sea turtle, moray eel and many other species of fish. Hiking at Haena was amazing!What views! Big WOW!

Peace and quiet

First floor unit is spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a washer and dryer in the unit and the swimming pool is very close. The area is nice and quiet.

Perfect for two

We had a wonderful vacation staying in your condo. We loved that it is only a 10 minute drive down to Hanalei and would drive down to walk the beach every morning. Princeville is a great community for walking. If we needed something from the grocery store we would walk the mile to pick it up. Walks in paradise is wonderful. The condo itself was well equipped for all our needs. We would love to come back. Sue and John

My wife and I spent our honeymoon, at one of Janet’s properties and it was perfect for our stay. It was a great location with tones of close amenities. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

Lovely place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was on the road to Hanalei which is where we wanted. Loved the walkability and the scenic views on foot. Place was clean and appreciated having clean floors to walk on, clean bed to sleep in and a washer/dryer.

My husband and I love to visit the area and decided to stay in Princeville this time. We enjoyed the walking path right outside of the complex and the proximity to a wonderful grocery store and little shops! We are looking forward to our visit again!

Clean and convenient

Had a great stay at Janet's apartment in Princeville. The unit is larger than it appears in the pictures. Lots of friendly neighborhood cats came to say hello on the lanai! There were a lot of families in the community and noisy chickens, but not so much noise that it detracted from our stay. Very convenient for hiking Napali coast!

My husband Jeff and I have lived in the islands for almost 30 years; working and raising our children who are now grown and raising children of their own. When not working, we like to spend time with our grandchildren. We especially enjoy having friends and family visit so we can take time off to enjoy the island's beauty.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I previously rented three other units in Sandpiper before having the opportunity to purchase one. The unit I bought is by far the nicest location in all of Sandpiper. It's off the street which can be noisy and busy. It has great airflow and is always airy and cool. The parking space is right outside the front door which is especially convenient.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The lanai of our condo is uniquely located facing a grassy area which is perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or having a cocktail in the evening. The parking spot is directly in front of the front door which is especially convenient when loading or unloading luggage or groceries. The unit has great airflow and faces away from the sun, allowing it to stay cool even on the hottest days.
