The house was great and perfect for our group. We had a wonderful time and will be back again. The only downside was that the parking was a little challenging but not much you can do about that based on the land where the house is located.

Didn’t want to leave

Our stay was so peaceful and serene. The house accommodated our two families and 6 children comfortably. Definitely looking forward to staying here again

Great Lake House

Outside of the weather, we had a great time. The house had plenty of room and we enjoyed keeping warm by the fireplace. Views of the lake are available from every room. The game room was awesome and there were plenty of board games to keep busy. We traveled late March 2024 and most businesses were closed. I would definitely come back during the summer as I’m sure the weather would be much nicer and we could do more outdoor activities.

Peace by the water

I’m 44 and recently lost my wife. We spent a lot of time in DCL over the past 18 years. We even bought our boat there a few years back. This was the first time I’ve been there without her. It was very tough making the trip from PA even though it’s only a little over an hour away from our house, but it ended up being what I needed. I look forward to my next trip. Thank you for the opportunity.

Extremely disappointing experience with Railey Vacations . The original rental had serious heat/AC problems, and after multiple complaints we were moved to another property that smelled strongly of mold/mildew. One family member developed throat irritation and another had skin irritation while staying there.Communication was poor throughout the stay, and we had difficulty getting management to respond appropriately. We ultimately left early because we were uncomfortable remaining in the property.Maintenance staff did come out, but the overall handling of the situation did not match what we paid for. I would strongly encourage future renters to rear reviews carefully before booking. Also, check was supposed to be 4:00. Cleaning crew was still there at 4:00 and didn’t leave till 6pm. They left bags of dirty linen on porch.Dirty throw pillows, dirty bathroom door knobs. Red stains on master bathroom baseboards. Poor communication from the company for help.
