Hermosa casa de madera con una gran envoltura alrededor de la cubierta. 150 pasos a una playa privada escriturada. Observe hermosas puestas de sol y cuando el lago esté activo, deje que el sonido de las olas lo ponga a dormir. Ubicado en una zona tranquila donde puedes caminar para siempre y la playa se extiende para siempre.

A poca distancia de la tienda del barrio y restaurantes. Todo lo que proporciona un gran suroeste de Michigan escapa. A solo 1 hora y 20 minutos del centro de Chicago. Amplio estacionamiento para hasta cinco autos.

Hemos viajado por todo el mundo y nuestra casa en Union Pier es ahora nuestro verdadero destino de vacaciones. Sentirás el espíritu y la energía de Michigan y esta casa te hará sentir como si siempre hubieras sido parte de esta maravillosa área.

We had a very lovely stay, incredible location and lots of little things that made the trip more seamless for a busy family (plenty of towels, toiletries, beach chairs). It was clean and well set up and it felt very spacious and comfortable. The beach is like half a block away and was super clean! It was a great escape from the city.

Wonderful Home for Vacation

The home is so interesting and beautiful. It is bigger than the photos make it look. We truly enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect with just a short walk to the beach access. It was quiet and relaxing. Our hosts were so helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed everything about it. All of our interactions with the hosts were great. Thank you to them for offering their home so we could have this experience.

We loved staying at this house.

We were very happy to be able to rent this house for a week in early September. The location is exceptional as it is so close to the beach—literally a quick two minute walk. The house is neat, well kept up and very clean and everything we needed was there. The owners are responsive and eager to assist. We loved our visit to Union Pier and Harbor Country, and staying here was a big part of how much we enjoyed our time there. I strongly recommend it.

Overdue Family Vacation

This spot was perfect for a family of 4 , the layout of the house is just what we needed to feel relaxed and comfortable. The accessibility of all the local attractions made planing the day to day easy and that we could get all we wanted done and not feel like we missed out on anything. The closeness of the beach was probably my favorite part . I’ve always loved coming to Michigan and this location just reminded of all my favorite childhood memories.

A Slice of Heaven

Gracious and spacious house with a wonderful fenced yard that our dogs — and us — adored. Bob and Grace have clearly lavished their house with attention. Everything is in good shape and was exactly as advertised. They were attentive to questions and made communication a breeze. It is a beach cottage, so not glitzy, but well-equipped and cozy.

So close to a lovely beach

Six people fitted easily into this comfortable house. Most important, we loved being a 3-minute walk from the wide sandy beach and beautiful Lake Michigan. This is a great place for beach-loving families.

Wonderful home and location!

We had a perfect stay. The house is very comfortable, with lots of room for spreading out and being inside and outside to enjoy the weather. Short hop to Lake Michigan and great area for walking, swimming, etc. The owners are terrific and very attentive when we needed to check in. Our family loves Union Pier and the Gordon Beach section, so this was a wonderful find. We'll be back!

Beautiful

The property is located very close to a private beach. The home was stocked with everything we needed (toiletries, glasses, pots & pans, towels, beach towels, dish soap, and chairs). There were gates throughout the yard to prevent the kids from running off— so that was wonderful. The wraparound porch was beautiful and we ate out there whenever we ate in. It truly is a lovely home with beautiful plants throughout. It’s clear the owners love it. We very much enjoyed our stay and the short walk to the beach.

72 Miles...But a World Away

We took an extended weekend the first weekend of Fall to get away from our downtown Chicago residence and enjoy some downtime in Union Pier. And our 7 month puppy came along. The property has a very comfortable feel and large enclosed yard. (Although not quite off the deck...but you can sit in the yard). The house is well stocked with towels, utensils, and hey even some dog toys (balls) under the deck that must have been lost by previous visitors that our puppy stumbled on! Also, for those with limitations the deck has a ramp as well as steps and there are grab bars in bathroom off of the en suite master. A short walk to the beach and just shy of a mile to cute bakery and restaurant; our daily routine. Quick trip by car to Three Oaks for dining rounded out our stay but the other two nights our dinners were walking distance or a minute car ride. We traveled one afternoon for Apple picking and outlet mall shopping; all quick approximately 30 minute car rides. It was great to have a temporary home base. While the property is not updated or modern it has a clean, relaxing feel and was just what we wanted. We didn’t maximize all the sleeping areas not hosted any large get togethers but the house could accommodate a much bigger group. The owner is super responsive. In short it was close, convenient, relaxed, and felt like a vacation. And yes, the puppy is missing the yard!

Perfect cottage in great location

This house had everything we could need. We felt very at home here. We loved the close proximity to the beach where we were able to walk for miles. The home was clean with plenty of room. It was just the two of us but definitely could accomodate many more comfortably. Coffee on the deck and sunsets on the beach at night. We will hopefully return for a longer stay next time!

Gordon beach house

Lovely property, lovely owners. This is a very clean, well-stocked, highly convenient vacation home in a very nice neighborhood with a private association beach. A very easy, short walk to the beach that makes it effortless to go back and forth with kids and gear. Nice fenced-in backyard for kids and dogs. Plenty of room inside and a very large deck. Nothing lacking whatsoever. Definitely one of the best VBRO experiences yet.

Perfect getaway for our entire family

This property had everything a person could want. It was clean, well stocked with anything you needed, plenty of deck and yard space to set back and relax, and a fenced in yard to let your dog run around. We couldn't have asked for more in a location. It was close to the beach, outlet mall, restaurants and unfortunately for me...casinos. We rate this a A++!

Great Beach Getaway!!

This house and its proximity to the very nice beach were exactly what we were looking for. While most of our time was spent at the beach, the house was comfortable and well equipped too. The owners try to make sure their guest’s needs are taken care of. We also appreciated the quiet and friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed very much! Thanks.

Great Vacation House

We had a very nice stay at Gordon Beach House. The house is very nice and clean with good amenities. We really appreciate it being pet friendly, since the dog is part of the family and the fenced in yard was great for that. The beach is very nice and the access is very close. We cooked several meals in the well appointed kitchen. It was very hot and humid during our stay which was great for the beach and the air conditioning in the house kept us comfortable. The WiFi worked well so we could stay connected. I hope we have the opportunity to return.

Perfect, exactly what we were looking for!

Comfortable well equiped home, close to private pristine quiet beaches, and still close enough to town with good restaurants and interesting shopping. And all only 90min from WrigleyVille!

Great Long Weekend Getaway for Family

What a fun place for a long weekend getaway! Excellent communication by owners, Bob and Grace. Very short walk to awesome Lake Michigan frontage that makes you feel like you're on the ocean a thousand miles away! (without the jellyfish or sharks). House comfortably fit 6 adults and one Golden Retriever. Deck was perfect for grilling and entertaining. What we appreciated the most was the fenced in backyard. We had plenty of room to let the dog roam. It was also perfect for playing yard games. (we played croquet and badminton all weekend) Thanks again Bob and Grace, we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to getaway and have some fun! Thanks, Mike

Girls' Getaway Gem!

Our group of seven friends enjoyed our stay at the Gordon Beach House. Great amenities like cable television in all rooms, kitchen needs, beach chairs/towels, and bathrooms. We had a great time and loved the short walk to the private beach. Also a great location which was close to many shops and wineries. We hope to go back again next year.
