Walk to the private association beach. The house is 0.7 miles from the beach (approximately a 20 minute walk). *Though the beach has been perfect all summer, the size of the beach is subject to Lake Michigan water levels. Both New Buffalo and Michigan City Public Beaches are also a short (under 10 minute) drive from the house.

8 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo for dining, shopping and ice cream. Four Winds and Blue Chip casinos are a short drive away. Shop at the Lighthouse outlet mall in Michigan City. 70 miles to Chicago (easy access to Chicago by South Shore or Amtrak trains), 40 miles to South Bend to enjoy Notre Dame football, Or use this as a base to explore all that Michigan has to offer all year round-- kayak, bikes, many golf courses, skydiving, apple picking, wine tasting, breweries, distilleries, hiking, enjoying the fall colors, cross country skiing or downhill skiing.
