Perfect Getaway

Gorgeous and spacious home. We have stayed in many homes in the Tahoe area, and this was by far the best home. It was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Hi there Lois, thanks so much for the kind words, after spending a long time looking for a house we found this one being built by a builder and fell in love with it. We decided to not have it as a 5 bedroom but instead as a 4 bedroom with two family rooms and a games room we think it is so important to allow our guests and us to relax. Having a coffee or tea looking into the woods or sitting in the hot tub at night is special its like you are nestled in the trees. Communication is always two ways and we thank you for being great communicators. Wish you well and will gladly welcome you back anytime.

Charles and Joanne's place was perfect for our two family trip. There was a kids living room and an adult living room, making movie night very enjoyable for everyone. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the adults the king size bed accommodations. Beds were very comfy, which is a rare find in most rentals. Hot tub was also a fantastic treat.

The cleaning takes a lot of effort on that house it's not a small house and quite complex plus being in the mountains you get dust and everything, but we do our very best so thank you it’s so great to have the thanks on how clean the place is much appreciated. Thanks for all the great communication it's important and goes both ways to treat people how you want to be treated crazy but communication is always the most important thing in our books again not easy but you have to try right? Thanks very much Kord, This house is not small like you found it's approximately 3600 Sq Feet, with large bedrooms, bathrooms, and multiple lounge areas. We have spent such a long time trying to find the right mattresses and bedding to make sure it very comfortable, be able to sleep and being comfortable is super important to us. We spend a lot of time working on clean and maintenance. The master bathrooms have the huge showers, and one have a great socking tub to relax in. A mix of old and modern. Thanks for the kind words we hope to have you stay with us again.

Place is beautiful and convenient. We had 4 small families, and all had our own space for sleeping and room for adults to mingle and cook upstairs while kids played downstairs. Kids loved playing in the snow around the property. Easy to get to the downhill resort & snow play park. House is furnished well and has all the amenities in the kitchen you need! A wonderful visit. Amazing cabin!

We just finished our second stay at the cabin in the past three years and it was just as good if not better this time than the first time. The place was immaculate and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay in the snow. The owners are fantastic and excellent with communication. Overall, our party of 7 had a fantastic time and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the Tahoe area.

Best vacation ever!!

This property was so much more than we could have hoped for. It was what they advertised and promised. We enjoyed the amenities, the easy drive into Yellowstone and especially just sitting on the back deck in the rocking chairs with the absolutely amazing views. I would rent this property again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to vacation.

Great Home!

The house was very clean and just as the pictures and listing described. More than enough room for 8 adults. The house was fully stocked, leaving nothing out. The neighborhood is really nice, serene, and very close to three great golf courses. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely return again.

Immaculate and comfortable house

House was very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. We only had 6 people but could have easily accommodated a lot more. Close proximity to Tahoe donner skiing, flat driveway (important for winter!), Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely modern bathrooms, and really communicative host. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable home away from home

Nice and clean house, great for groups. Host had excellent communication and quickly answered all our questions. Location is near a small sledding slope and ice skating rink, sleds are provided at the house. Lots of food options from Asian to Mexican. We’d definitely be back.

This was the perfect house for our two families to get together. Two masters and two bunk rooms were ideal. Shared spaces were great for everyone to play games- ping pong, cards, chess. Hot tub, grill, kitchen were all nice and put to good use. Great location for everything we wanted to do in Donner, Truckee, and beyond.

Luxurious comfort in beautiful Tahoe Donner area

Charles and Jo created a wonderful space that is beautifully appointed, functional and comfortable. We spent a long weekend relaxing in the hot tub and playing on nearby slopes as well as the ping pong table. The beds are actually comfortable! This house is big enough that each age group can have their own space. We will be back!

Amazing property!

We loved this stay immensely. The owners were very communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. From the beds to the towels to the kitchen amenities - no detail wasn't thought of. You can tell the owners actually stay here plus rent this property out instead of the typical "it's for renters so let's do everything as cheap as possible"! I appreciated how clean and organized it was. The location and setting are beautiful too. We will definitely return!
