De lujo de un dormitorio y dos baños condominio con vista al mar en el Whaler. Situado en la 8ª planta, con vistas panorámicas al mar, vista de rock negro y recién remodelado !! Limpia y totalmente equipado! Uno de los mejores condominios en el Whaler !! Nuevos azulejos, alfombras, pintura, y la encimera de cuarzo. Completamente destruida y remodelado. La mejor ubicación, sólo dos de frente al mar, con vistas a la piscina. 4 plazas, cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio y la nueva cama de la pared de reina en la sala de estar.

We have stayed at the Whaler multiple times and have always enjoyed our stays. Checking in is always welcoming and any issues are always addressed. The unit was clean and well stock. Clean towels and trash pickup was provided every few days. We plan future trips at the Whaler.

The staff at The Whaler, from the men and women at the gate to the housekeeping staff to the front desk staff are the best. Very welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious and very clean and comfortable. The room and just about the whole property has one of the best beach views that I've ever seen. It's a beautiful sight to wake up to. The full kitchen makes the whole stay seem like home away from home. Very great vacation every time we stay here.

Whaler Maui

We had the perfect family vacation right in the heart of Kaanapali. Beautiful condo, view of Black Rock, close to restaurants and the best snorkeling on the island. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Location

This condo had everything we needed and fully stocked. I've stayed in other places in Maui and this one by far is worth the money. The location is great and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and boat excursions. Highly recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Beautiful Kaanapali

The unit is very nice with incredible views and fantastic location. The Whaler complex is beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. The beach chairs are FREE which is not normally the case in Hawaii. Love this place

Location!

The Whaler is a beautiful property with tons of amenities that were very much appreciated by our family. The room was recently renovated and well appointed, with a spacious kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms. And the view of the ocean and black rock from the lanai was gorgeous! We had breakfast out there every morning. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there was a faint smell of vomit and suspicious stains on the carpet in the living room. We didn’t spend much time in there, but it was mostly noticeable in the evenings.

Great property

Wonderful large condo, very comfortable furnishings and cooking-friendly kitchen. Outdoor space has great views of beach and black rock. Perfect location and great place for laid back vacation.

Long time supporter of the whaler condos

Been coming for 17 years and this unit you will not be disappointed in. They have everything you would need and very nice upgrades in bathroom showers, kitchen and the best was the view as it’s in the middle of the tower with incredible views. You will not be disappointed in the unit, property, noise, Communication and cleanliness

Great View and nicely appointed.

We stayed for two weeks and the Whaler never disappoints. The view is fantastic and the condo is modern and updated. The property is in the best location on Maui and has everything you need for an extended stay.

The Whaler 860

Great unit at The Whaler! Have stayed in other units there and this one is a new favorite. Great views and can’t beat the location. Entire process was very smooth and easy.

Perfect family getaway

This property is nothing short of amazing. I stayed here with my family of 4 for a week. Check in was a breeze, loved the underground parking (there are shopping carts for groceries - so convenient), the pool was great, and the location excellent. The unit itself was clean, had everything we needed for preparing meals, beds comfortable, and views spectacular. The location is perfect and close to so much. Whaler village has many good restaurants and shopping. Black rock is a short walk down the beach for snorkeling and cliff jumping. The host, Cathy, and easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. We will never stay at a different location. This one was perfect!

Comfortable Condo with great ocean view

We enjoyed our stay at The Whaler. The view from the deck was excellent. We looked out toward Blackrock and were able to see whales. The condo was very nice with a comfortable king bed and plenty of furniture. The condo was well appointed with cooking tools and what we needed to make breakfast and dinner The TV in the bedroom could be bigger but living room TV was great. In spite of having rain 4 of the 8 days we were there, we had an excellent time. The Whaler is a great place to stay. There are beach towels and chairs available at the pool. It is just steps away from Hui Hui, an excellent, somewhat new restaurant at Kaanapali Beach hotel. It is also next door to Hula Grill and Monkeypod. There is an ABC store and several small eateries in the Whaler Shopping Center. We loved our stay at The Whaler and in Maui.

40th B-Day Trip

We booked the property to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The condo is in a perfect location to be able to enjoy the beach and be able to walk to different dinning options. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The two drawbacks we saw were the pool area and shared laundry. We were traveling with our young kids, 6 and 9, and the pool area is definitively more for retirees lounging versus kids playing. That got a bit uncomfortable at time, including comments from other pool goers. Also, the amenities list laundry, however its not in the unit, but a shared laundry down the hall. Not a big deal as it was never busy when we needed it, but just something to consider. All in all, we LOVED our stay and would recommend to others.

Well-maintained, Beautiful finishes and very nicely appointed

We just spent 12 days in this unit and very much enjoyed the experience. We stay at the Whaler whenever we visit Maui and love it, but this was our first time in this unit; it's a great unit and we'd happily stay there again. Pros: - Beautiful finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms - Very comfortable bed - Quiet and effective ceiling fan in the bedroom means we were able to sleep comfortably with the slider open and didn't need to use the AC at all during our stay - Super clean and nicely maintained overall with very little wear showing anywhere - Great view, and on the desirable "inner courtyard" of the property so it's very quiet - Well-appointed kitchen though some basics such as a simple rubber spatula were missing, but we picked one up along with a few other items and were more than happy to contribute to the good "collection" of tools - Good quality appliances, including a coffee maker that works great - Having two bathrooms is a real plus - Lovely large Lanai Wishlist/Could be better: - The curtain in the bedroom is not fully blackout, not a big deal but interesting that the one in the living room area IS - The furniture on the Lanai is showing some use, and anyway it would be nice to have highboy/bar height seating out there so as to have an unobstructed view over the railing - The unit is quite light on any "activity extras", having only a single, low-quality beach umbrella; no chairs or snorkel gear etc. - There are many bedding pillows to choose from - I found none of them super comfortable however Overall a wonderfully upgraded unit with lots of comfortable features! We're very grateful to have had the pleasure of staying here!

An Absolutely Fabulous Vacation

We loved our stay at The Whaler. The unit was clean, updated, and well-equipped with an excellent location with a spectacular view! The owner was friendly, responded promptly, and was more than accommodating to our family. There is no washer/dryer in the unit--there is shared guest laundry at the end of the hallway. However, this was not an issue and I never had to wait to use it. I would absolutely recommend this unit! I can't wait to come back!

First class accommodations at The Whaler

vacationing with our two young adult children, we all had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed condo. Great views of ocean, Black Rock and the pool. This unit looks to be very recently updated, top to bottom. Nice finishes with a Tommy Bahama feel. We vacation in Maui every other year for 25 years and this is my favorite place we’ve stayed. We will be back!

Excellent

Beautiful, tasteful and clean condo and resort. The balcony was large and had beautiful views in both directions. The beds were comfortable, though there were no extra blankets after making the murphy bed. Having the murphy bed and two bathrooms worked perfect for our family with two teenager daughters. I loved the shower. The condo had almost everything we needed, except it would have been nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella, even though you can rent them. The washer/dryer is a tiny shared one down the hall. The resort itself was nicer than I expected and of course it’s in a great location. I understand comparing to other places we’ve stayed can be comparing apples to oranges, but I believe these are universal. The other places we stayed, that cost less, offered more blankets, more starter supplies, beach chairs & umbrella’s, in unit washer/dryer (maybe a building limitation) and lots more information from the owners. Communication with the owner was not the best. On the plus side, the owner always responded, but unfortunately the owner never offered any information (including check-in information) voluntarily. I always had to ask. When I arrived, I was told by the front desk there was no reservation. We called the owner and fortunately she answered and straightened it out quickly. The front desk said this has happened before. This was very stressful, but despite it I give four stars since it was an excellent unit overall.
