Gracias por considerar Wolf Cabin Escape. Somos un listado NUEVO ya que acabamos de comprar esta propiedad en abril de 2018. Este primer año de propiedad, fuimos egoístas y teníamos el lugar para nosotros solos. Esto nos permitió usarlo como familia para varias vacaciones y también para hacer mejoras y agregar nuestro toque personal. Ahora estamos listos para compartir nuestro hogar con los demás. ¡Esperamos que consideres nuestro lugar!

Nuestra casa rústica proporciona un equilibrio perfecto de relajación, actividades, naturaleza y más. Acurrucado en las montañas Blue Ridge y parte de la comunidad Gated Wolf Laurel, aprenderá rápidamente que nuestra casa le permite disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la naturaleza en un entorno muy aislado y aún tener acceso a muchos servicios y actividades.

Nuestro complejo cuenta con un sendero de acceso privado para caminar por Big Bald y estamos a lo largo del sendero de los Apalaches, si te interesa aventurarte en una parte de este camino histórico.

Las vistas desde Wolf Cabin Escape son impresionantes, y puedes verlas desde el interior de la casa a través de los grandes ventanales, desde la cubierta trasera o desde la comodidad de nuestra nueva bañera de hidromasaje para 6 personas.

Aunque estamos ubicados en una zona tranquila y rústica, aún tendrá las comodidades de una calefacción central, duchas y baño, lavadora / secadora, servicio de WiFi, TV de pantalla plana, cocina completa con todos los utensilios de cocina y vajilla, un recientemente renovado Baño principal, y cómodas camas. Después de una agradable caminata a nuestro arroyo, puede relajarse en dos cómodos sofás mientras se sienta junto al fuego.

La ciudad de Mars Hill (25 minutos), Weaverville (35 minutos) y Asheville (45 minutos) ofrecen muchas opciones para ir de compras, restaurantes y actividades.

We had a great time. Only issue is I was told the roads get cleared if it snows in the community, which is true. However the roads with gravel which this property is on, those roads don’t get cleared. We had 1 car that wasn’t a 4 wheel drive and if we would have not had a pair of chains they would have been stuck there for a week or longer.

Everything about our trip was amazing. The host is responsive and accommodating and the cabin was everything we thought it would be from the photos. The beds were all comfortable and everything was clean. Our two girls stayed upstairs in the lofted area and loved it! We were able to use the hot tub and watch the stars at night from the back deck. You can also hear the creek flowing which is very relaxing. The driveway was 100% manageable and is a pull through so you don’t have to back out once you pull in. It’s not a cliff or drop off like some of the other reviews suggest. We will definitely stay here again!

Multiple lights were inoperable, no lights at hot tub. Very dark overall both inside and outside of property. The television in the living room is awful!!! We enjoyed our stay, beautiful scenery, dated but comfortable.

This place far exceeded our expectations. From the private hiking trails to the amazing views. Only thing that would make it better would be a gas grill but honestly I’m not complaining it was incredible.

the fire pit is not useable

This property is cute and rustic. I wouldn't recommend arriving for the first time at night since it is very dark and the gravel road is windy and steep. The property was pretty much as described, except the fire pit. The fire pit area, the side of the house, and the walkway were so overgrown with grass that they were unusable. The grass was knee-to-thigh high and so you are just asking to get ticks if you walk through it. It looked like it had not been maintained all summer. So although the property is pet friendly, there is nowhere to take your dogs out. We had to carry our dog up the stairs to the driveway to find a place to go. The hot tub's deck is partially collapsed, so the water level is uneven and a lot splashes out. Despite the deck, it does feel stable enough to use safely. The lights over the hot tub also did not work and the top rack of the dishwasher falls out when you try to load it. Even in July the house is cool enough at night without AC, but some of the screens on the windows are ripped so bugs get in. One of the french doors on the back of the house does not have a screen.

Peacefully stay and great amenities

We really enjoyed our stay had a great time, place was very clean had everything we wanted. Only thing that I over look was did not have AC, got a little hot but at night the temps did drop also fans were provided . Amazing location had so many things to do all in all 10/10. Our first road trip and cabin stay in North Carolina definitely coming back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Nice getaway

We overall enjoyed our stay. A few lights weren’t working outside on the deck which led to us having to come inside earlier than planned in the evenings. Also the fairy lights above the jacuzzi only worked on half of the string. This was disappointing as we didn’t feel comfortable being out once the sun went down to enjoy the hot tub.The patio table on the deck was broken, so we were unable to enjoy breakfast outside. Also the umbrella above the bar was not anywhere to be found. The patio didn’t get much use because of this which was disappointing as spending time outside was what we had in mind when we rented this cabin. It also would have been a comfortable spot to catch a breeze as the cabin does not have A/C and can get quite stuffy in 90 degree heat. We had hoped to sit out by the fire pit as advertised in the pictures, but when we found the area near the cabin, it was overrun with weeds. We didn’t feel comfortable having our kids in the area not being able to see below our knees. Due to the service issues on the mountain it would be a great help to give guests the address to the check in station at the entrance to the resort. This would avoid them accidentally going to the unmanned back entrance and then not having service to guide them out.

Rustic Relaxation

The mountains of North Carolina are for the soul!!! Choosing this rustic, away from the hubbub, down the gravel road getaway was perfect for recharging, reminiscing, relaxing and spending time with old friends who don’t NEED bougie to have a good time!The hot tub was so nice after a day of hiking and the beds were extremely comfortable for a night of rest! We visited the pool one day for a refreshing cool down and met some lovely residents! If you want a great burger, we recommend Stacks in Mars Hill! Delicious! We traveled to Burnsville, as well, strolling around the downtown area and order up pizza and beer at the local brewery, Homeplace. Delightful!

An Ideal Secluded Getaway

This is a beautiful property, with the added bonus of being in close proximity to Big Bald mountain, where a short hike ends with spectacular views. The owner (Joe), property manager (Antonio), and cleaning company head (Nick) were very helpful in trying to resolve a problem with the TV. (It is still not clear whether the issue was my ineptitude with technology or environmental glitches, but we got it to work the morning after our arrival.) My wife and I hope to make a return visit in the not-too-distant future.

Secluded relaxing place

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The host was very responsive to questions/concerns . It was super easy to get to many places in NC and TN. It had absolutely everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property!!

Would be nice to go

I got notification the day before we were scheduled to leave. The owner and VRBO canceled. Could not find a place to stay on that short of notice. Purchased lift tickets that are not refundable at Hatley Point. VRBO has yet refunded our stay. I was told it could take 15 days.

There was garbage all down the hill near the trash can. Dog poop was out on the ground and the hole with the bad cover should be covered up on the side of the house. Maybe the view is better in the fall when there are no leaves on the trees. But we had a great time and the cabin was neat and clean!!!

Beautiful mountain cabin

Extra safe since you are in a gated resort. Beautiful view and cozy cabin. We had an issue during check in with the code and it was at night but the owner was super quick to help! Great experience:)

We wanted a home that was secluded and had great views to get away from the hustle of the every day. After visiting several places near Asheville, this was the perfect fit and met all our needs.

Wolf Cabin Escape is the best of 2 worlds. It offers a secluded and quiet location away from general population, yet it is within the Wolf Laurel Community and offers the security and conveniences of a neighborhood as needed. Being only 25 minutes away from the main town of Mars Hill and also 40 minutes away from Asheville gives you plenty of access to many attractions, businesses and shopping.
