The space
This mountain cabin has what you are looking for in a peaceful, quiet mountain retreat. Overlooking beautiful treetops with views of Big Bald mountain off the AT, this cabin has a spacious open-floor plan; cathedral ceilings; floor to ceiling picture window; 2 private decks with rockers and porch swings; hot-tub; game room complete with pool table, darts, and bar area; and 4 bedrooms that can sleep 11 guests. This space is perfect for families or friends with plenty of single sleeping, as well as queen and king beds. You are steps away from the best sunset around from the upper parking lot of Wolf Ridge.

Enjoy swinging on the front porch and take in the quiet mountain air with your favorite book and a cup of coffee. You are welcomed in the front door with a place to hang your skis and boots after a day of skiing at Hatley Pointe. For the coffee lover, enjoy your coffee from our Keurig or coffee maker. Coffee and Keurig pods and sugar are provided. There is an ample supply of dishes, plates, silverware and platters for entertaining a large group of family or friends. Our custom-made dining table is spacious and offers plenty of seating for 9-11 people. The living room features cable, Roku streaming, and high speed internet.

Master:

You’ll enjoy a great night’s sleep as you sink into our king size bed. The master comes complete with cable, smart TV and an attached master bath stocked with ample toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and cloths.

Upstairs Bedrooms:

As you climb the stairs to the 2 bedrooms upstairs, don’t forget to take a look at the view from the balcony. You’ll feel like you are at the top of the world.

Bedroom One:

The kids will love hanging out in the bunkroom with room to sleep four. This room comes with cable, smart TV with Roku and DVD player, 2 bunks for sleeping and bean bags for lounging.

Bedroom Two:

The second bedroom across the hall offers a queen size bed, a chair, and baby supplies including a pack-n-play and an attachable highchair. This room offers the space and quiet necessary for the baby to nap.

Downstairs:

Come on down to play in the wolves’ den. Enjoy a card game or favorite board games with family or friends on our oversize comfy couch with a chaise or on the reclining chair, or you can challenge yourselves to a game of pool or darts. You might also cozy up with a good book beside the stone gas log fireplace. Mix up a cocktail or grab a cold beer from our bar area and sit back in one of our cushy bar chairs or enjoy popcorn and a movie (microwave and mini-fridge provided). Enjoy a dip in the hot tub on your private lower deck. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, you will feel the tranquility and relaxation as you unwind from a day of outdoor adventures. Oversized, quick dry Turkish towels are provided for hot tub use. The downstairs laundry room provides an iron and ironing board and a full-size washer and dryer with washer pods provided.

Downstairs Bedroom:

This bedroom is a great space for kids or a small family. This room includes sleeping space for 3 with a cedar log queen bed and a cedar log twin bed. The room also comes with a cable TV with Roku streaming.

20 minutes from AT trailhead at Sam’s Gap. Enjoy a beautiful moderate hike to Big Bald, which can be seen from the window of Raven Cliff (grassy, treeless mountain top with 360 degree views).

30 minutes from Navitat Canopy Adventures featured in USA Today as “one of the best in the nation,” offering ziplining and RTV tours

Be careful during the winter months because the road right before you get here is very steep. During the winter months, if expecting snow, 4 wheel drive is highly recommended.

Should the road "Ski Valley" be closed upon arrival, follow these instructions: Looking at Wolf Laurel Rd from Ski Valley, take a left.
Take a left when you get to Puncheon Fork.
Take another left to turn onto Wolf Ridge Rd.
Follow Wolf Ridge until it turns into Scenic Wolf. Take a left onto Slope Terrace.
Take a left onto Summit Way.

4WD IS NEEDED IN INCLEMENT WEATHER.

Please do NOT move the fireplace logs. Maintenance will have to come out and fix them if they are touched. It makes the fireplace inoperable. $200 fine if they are moved. Thank you for understanding. :)

Please secure all trash in the appropriate bins. If trash is left outside, you may be subject to a $250 FINE.

We will be sending the ENTRY CODE 4 hours before your check in time.

Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, etc.

The closest grocery store is Ingles in Mars Hill and is about 20 minutes from the cabin. We have a drip coffee pot, Keurig, and french press.

Hand soap, toilet paper, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided.
