Bienvenido a nuestra nueva cabina de 4 estaciones en Chicog Lake. A solo 2. 1/2 horas de Twin Cities: la cabina cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas e incluye una sauna. 10 minutos a Minong, 25 minutos a Hayward, 2 pizzerías y una tienda bien surtida cerca. Estamos a solo 6 millas del campo de golf Black Bear, un campo público de 18 hoyos, par 72. Hay muchos otros campos de golf a corta distancia. También puede practicar senderismo o piragüismo en dos ríos cercanos (Totagatic y Namekagon, este último es un excelente río de truchas). Los viajes de un día a Hayward, Spooner, Duluth y las islas Apostle son diversiones comunes.

Family vacation

We had a great long weekend get away with family!! We were able to fish, kayak, paddle board, tube, play volleyball and relax!! It’s the perfect place for families!!

Beautiful vacation home and surroundings

This was a wonderful private vacation home, bunkhouse, grounds, and clean, clear waterfront for our family getaway. Our children and grandchildren so enjoyed having a beach area and the swim raft they could enjoy along with all the watercraft provided. The home is roomy and lovely and we also appreciated all of the owner's amenities provided. We all enjoyed our week so much and we highly recommend this property.

2023 Cabin Week

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with essential paper products and kitchen appliances and utensils. Loved that there was a canoe paddle board, and kayaks, so we didn’t need to bring our own. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would definitely consider another stay there and highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful place

We had a group of 10 and this was the perfect size. Beautiful cabin with newer amenities and sauna was wonderful though takes a minute to heat up so plan for that. The pictures don’t do it justice! the only thing I was surprised by was there is quite a hill down to the water. The Lake isn’t very big but also isn’t very busy so we had fun tubing and skiing. Did some fishing too! Had a great relaxing week

Best Family Time

The lake home and bunk house was very nice. It easily accommodated our family of ten. I especially loved the sunroom. Those who woke early enjoyed there coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing were done daily. People were catching bass off the dock. A lot of activities to entertain everyone. The place was clean and well organized. I highly recommend it. It was a great time for my family.

Great Family Cabin

I rented this cabin for a week with my husband, 2 kids and my sister's family (2 adults & 2 kids) and it was fantastic. The cabin is new & clean and much nicer in person than the photos show. The kitchen and main hang out space is quite large and having the bunk house for the kids gave us tons of space. There are also plenty of seating areas outside to enjoy the view of the lake. It is a smaller lake than we anticipated, but we were still able to take the kids out tubing (5pm - 10am: no wake time). There is a large area by the shore for sitting or volleyball, but the beach was more muddy than sandy, just fyi. It was a lovely property and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive and quick to respond to any questions! Thank you!

Thank you for the wonderful review. Not sure if you did this on accident but you gave us a one out of five star rating. Wondering if there was some problem I wasn’t aware of. I’d love to keep the property rating as high as I could if possible but I do understand if you were disappointed.

Three generations together

The cabin (house) and bunkhouse were very comfortable with high quality construction and furnishings. We enjoyed the lake with the paddle board, canoe and kayaks.

Peaceful lake and setting

Our family enjoyed this lake home. It is a more modern home in general with some Wisconsin lake home features such as the knotty pine ceilings. There is nice bunk house with bath next to the garage that the kids liked. Smaller lake with lots of smaller pan fish - which was nice and easy for kids to catch. Nice setting which was very clean and well maintained. My only recommendation is to add a microwave.

Beautiful and Peaceful Vacation Spot

We had a fantastic family vacation at this property! The home was fresh and clean and had everything our family of five needed. The beds were comfy, the house was beautiful and bright, the bunk house was fun for the kids, and the patio had a great little fire pit and flat top grill. The lake was just perfect for our family- clean water with lots of fishing right off the dock, kayaks, a paddle boat, and a stand-up paddle board. We spent hours on the lake in kayaks watching loons and bald eagles, and the clean water was great for swimming and playing. It was fairly quiet during our stay and great for a family to relax together and hang out outside. We spent a day exploring nearby Hayward and then came back to get on the lake. The owners responded to messages very quickly and showed such hospitality. Overall, this was a fantastic vacation and a great way to recharge. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Great Family Lake House

We really enjoyed this property. The house had all the modern comforts of home. The patio was great for a fire or to relax in the sun. Many fish were caught and released right from the pier. The lake is small, quiet and extremely clean. My teen loved having the bunkhouse to himself so he could sleep in. This destination is very close to Minong and Spooner which both have downtowns and dining options. There are also several beaches nearby. Overall a really wonderful property and we would definitely return.

A great covid getaway from the Twin Cities

We were looking for a quick escape during Minnesota school’s fall break. This cabin was great for our vacation. The kids caught perch and bluegills off the dock, we explored the lake by paddle board and kayaks. The nice kitchen made it too easy to cook way too much food. The fire pit offered nice views of lake sunsets. It was a perfect haven from our worries. When the weather brought everyone inside, the six of us had enough space. The only caveat for future visitors, the cabin didn’t have a tv (We left early enough to catch the Vikings game elsewhere) Perhaps it’s important to you, perhaps it isn’t.

Just as expected.

This is a fabulous property. Everything was exactly as described new, clean, secluded. The owner was quick to respond to questions. It fit our family just right there was six adults and five children ages 11- 1 year. Everyone had a great time fishing and paying in the lake. Lots of great fishing right off the dock for the kids. Minong was not far away and had everything we forgot. Over all great place, hope to return next year. Thanks, for sharing your property.
