Great spot and great house! I was hoping the lake would be good for floating but at the end of the dock it’s maybe 1-1/2 ft deep. No worries because we had plenty of fun watching football on the big screen in the basement and playing games upstairs. We had an issue with the garage door and the owner was very responsive and sent someone over that day. Would recommend!

A few good things... a few not so great things

Positive: property & home were beautiful, it looked & smelled clean, responses to questions were prompt.Negative: the ad stated lake levels were low & showed a dock but it wasn't in - the owner put the dock in the next day - nice gesture. My daughter canceled last minute - I notified the owner there was no dog & they refunded the 50 pet deposit - nice gesture. Fridge & stove are outdated - no bars on the fridge door so you lose 1/3 of the storage & had to reconfigure shelves to fit a gallon of milk. Stove was old, could have been cleaner but worked. For the price, upgraded appliances would be nice. Big issue was bugs in 2 lower level beds. NOT bedbugs-beetles-but we vacated those 2 rooms. Bugs were found day 5 after extreme heat/humidity on days 3 & 4. Sent the owner videos & pics & asked them to come that night to witness them. Housekeepers were sent @ noon day 6 but bugs were gone. The owner kept saying we left doors & widows open. WE DID NOT! It was almost 100 & humid & the AC barely kept up. We absolutely went in & out of the doors TO USE THE DECK FOR THE 3600 VIEW BUT WE DID NOT LEAVE DOORS & WINDOWS OPEN! I asked nicely if they would consider reimbursing at least 1 day but they basically implied I was lying about the bugs and IF bugs were there it was MY FAULT for leaving doors and windows open. We gave up. We tried to enjoy the remaining 24 hours of our vacation, packed up and left a day early. Not bashing the owner, but I was really offended by their comments.

Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed with family and friends, and have 0 complaints. The house was pretty, comfortable and well equipped. The property also felt isolated and private, which we really enjoyed. Thank you so much!!

The property was everything the listing said it was. Very clean and ready for our stay with plenty of amenities. Loved the rustic cabin style. The property was great with an awesome lake view.

This was such a fabulous place. Host was great, the location was perfect for our Crew of 4 and 7. Couldn't ask for any better accommodations. We did have a WIFI issue for a bit, but made it work.

Family Stay in February 2025

We had a nice time with our family, Over all the place was nice, and we enjoyed the beautiful snow fall. With it being winter a few more rugs(or bigger rugs) in the entry way would be nice. Thank you for opening up your place.

Clean, Private, Gorgeous

The cabin exceeded our expectations! It was perfect for a cozy New Years weekend. We got the fire going and settled in for board games and crafting in the spacious main room. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, which had all the necessary supplies. The beds were cozy & the couches were plush. Our only complaint was that the darts didn't match the board so we couldn't play ; )Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Great stay, will book again!

Our stay in the Cedar Chalet was great! Communication is timely and thoughtful. Check-in and check-out are a breeze. We felt that the place was well stocked including dishes, utensils, paper towels, and cleaning items. We had a longer stay and needed extra TP, Germel was responsive and we were supplied with more than needed for the rest of our stay. While the lake levels are low and the lake is a bit mucky, we made the best of it with our paddle boards and ability to pull a smaller boat through the channel. You can't go wrong with the area though, hosting many lakes to visit just minutes from the chalet. We will book again...fall, winter, spring, and summer!

Great Stay!

We had a great 4th of July weekend at this cabin - it had plenty of space for all of us, was right next to a lake where we could do some paddle boarding, and the deck was perfect for hanging out. Would highly recommend!

Good times had by all

Everything is as advertised , great cabin and neighborhood . Good fishing , lake was too low to get our pontoon in to middle lake but we managed . That was the only bad part of our trip . I think we’ve been to this same cabin for 3 or 4 years , all good .

Peaceful Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is cute and there were the right amount of beds and comfortable space for our group of 9. There is a beautifu deck view of quiet Middle Lake. Though the lake is very shallow, it is clear and was perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. We caught panfish, bass, and northern, on Middle Lake and also when we paddled through the channel to the bigger lake. The communication was perfect - very fast response time. Thank you!

Great family getaway

A great pine cabin on a nice lake on a quiet street. This was our 2nd stay for my husbands birthday with our adult kids. It's a large house with a sunroom and large deck and great bar area with a tv and dart board. We are too small of a family to live that big in the house and take advantage of all it has to offer, but have had a great time both times. The detached garage is great for your grilling needs which we all appreciated. Host is phenomenal and communications were great and have nothing but praise for our experience.

Great winter getaway.

Overall, a pretty nice, secluded cabin. It was clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Some firewood for the fireplace would have been nice, though. A working hot tub would’ve made this the greatest cabin rental in the area. Great communication with the owner.
