Our stay at this beach condo was absolutely fantastic—easily one of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had.The condo itself was spectacular. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and felt instantly welcoming. The layout was perfect for our needs, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Having direct, easy access to the beach was the cherry on top. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a true home away from home.What truly elevated our trip, however, was the incredible hospitality of the host. From the moment we booked, they were communicative, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was seamless. They were genuinely welcoming and offered several helpful recommendations for local dining and activities. It’s clear they take great pride in making their guests feel comfortable.We can't recommend this place enough! Thank you for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Perfect for two people. The beach was amazing especially with the two chairs and umbrella. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Whales Tail is very good and right on the beach. Perfect for viewing the sunset. The location is close to several shopping venues. The reason for four stars rather than five was the view from the balcony. Normally the view would be perfect. With the table and chair height that are on this balcony the view is obstructed by the railing being exactly at eye level, which prevents being able to see the beach or ocean unless you bend down or slouch down in your chair. We love to eat breakfast on the balcony and relax after an afternoon of shopping to enjoy the view but didn’t get that experience from this unit. As minor as this might be to some renters it’s major for us. We have stayed at surf side resort four other times and always had a room with pub height seating on the balcony. We should have paid more attention to the pictures on Vrbo. We would stay in this unit again only if the balcony furniture was at least pub height. Our other suggestion would be to not have the AC unit programmed during times when the unit has been rented. It was set for 77 degrees which was warmer than our comfort. We were able to set it to 70 for a short time but it soon went off. It did seem to cool all night. We didn’t contact the owner about it. Overall this was a really nice unit. We enjoyed our stay.

Great room, location, and support

I had a fantastic stay at this property. Perfectly located across the road from the beach with a balcony providing a relaxing spot to chill. The building has a walking bridge so you can skip traffic if you like and there's a beach bar over there with great staff. This was a working vacation for me, so having the table/chairs and solid internet was a must and very appreciated. Julie is an exceptional host! She was very prompt answering all of my questions and helping me when i needed it. The room was quite comfortable and that bed was exactly the right one for me! Oh, I was happy to see she had a regular coffee pot and a keurig in the room. I wasn't sure that I cared that the room came with usage of the beach chairs and umbrella (that attendants set up every day), but dang...So glad they were there! What a nice additional benefit! I would definitely stay here or at another property Julie hosts!

We love this condo. The balcony view is fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick meal or a cup of coffee. There's also a restaurant in the building that offers room service. We used it mainly to order from the beach, then we walked over and picked up our food. The beach was great since this condo came with 2 beach chairs/ umbrella. An attendant sets all of them up each morning. We were able to reserve ours once they were all set up. The reservation lasts all day. This is also a great area to walk around in. There are several stores & restaurants nearby.

Enjoyed staying here!

This was a cute little condo. Close to everything. Loved the pool area and the beach was beautiful and clean. The condo resort was clean and the unit was well stocked. This location was great and quiet at night. Julie, the PM was excellent. I arrived during evening hours and she was available to me via text and helped me get settled in. The bed was comfortable and had great pillows! Air conditioning worked amazing and the balcony was so nice and private. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Julie for making my stay enjoyable!

I was here for a work conference which was held at Baytown. I wanted to stay somewhere on the beach so I chose this location. The room was exactly as described. Waking up to the Gulf view and being able to watch the sunset from my balcony was worth every penny. Julie was top notch in providing excellent customer service throughout my entire stay. She not only answered questions about the condo, but provided additional information about local areas to visit. She was extremely kind and quick to respond to text messages. I will 100% book a location with her again in the future. Pros: beach view; shower pressure was awesome; king size bed was super comfy (I wish I would have looked to see brand of the mattress topper!); great amenities for my short stay; easy access to the beach; beach bar; beach chairs and umbrella included Cons: really only two things which are not deal breakers- elevators are slow; you have to pay 25 cents to get ice downstairs (it only takes quarters but there’s a change machine next to it)

Not happ

The room was great but the property was not clean. Two sets of washers and dryers on the main floor when there are 17 stories. The ice machine wasn’t free and barely gave you any ice. Hallways reeked of illegal substance and smoke. Cleanliness was disgusting of the resort, our room was great. The elevators were terrible, one was out of order for the first few days.The best part of this stay was the beachside service provided. Property manager was friendly and had good communication. Will not be back to this resort unfortunately.

Perfect smaller space

My daughter and I came to Destin for short getaway. This place was perfect for that. Offered everything we needed. Beach service was awesome and the location was short drive to everything. Owner was super nice and renting was a piece of cake!!

Amazing vacation spot!

This was my graduation vacation with my husband and it was phenomenal! The room was cozy and clean and the view is AMAZING! The restaurant on site was incredible. Our room came with two chairs and an umbrella and the beach service was so kind. Julie was also great to communicate with. All in all an amazing trip!! Will definitely book again!

Adult trip

The booking service was wonderful. 17 of us came on an all adult trip and we chose this location due to the availability of multiple rooms at same location; however, we felt as if we were in high school not on an all adult trip. From the moment we arrived we were firmly told we had to wear wristbands all weekend and couldn’t remove them and we only had 10min to unload the car & move it. Beach service guy was not the most pleasant, our friends couldn’t check in till 4 and at 3:45 he would not let them have 1 chair that was being unused until they were “checked in” despite having confirmation proof on their phone. The Resturant on-site had a bonfire one night and we were “kicked out” due to moving ONE chair from one bonfire to the other for our pregnant friend, we even asked the gentleman beside the vacant chair if he minded us moving it 10-12ft. It just seemed as if it was one thing after another. This is our 6th year in a row taking these trips and we’ve never had an issue until this year. We understand there are rules to follow but if the workers would state them in a more tactful way it would have been much more appreciated. It seemed as if we were trying to break the law or attempting something dangerous the way we were treated.
