The apartment, the location, and the host were seriously TOP TIER!! Like perfection. The only negative is that the upstairs guest was very noisy. That said, I would stay here again without a doubt!!

We had a great experience at this property and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the living space was comfortable and inviting. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We also really appreciated the small touches—extra towels, toiletries, and a welcome guide with local recommendations.The location was ideal: Just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Also, well centered for most everything that South Dakota has to offer. What a beautiful state! We especially loved the outside patio to relax after a long day of adventures.Jami and Matt are outstanding—responsive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. Communication was seamless from start to finish, and it’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience.This was one of the best VRBO stays we’ve ever had, Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway!

Lovely apartment, great location

This apartment was very nicely furnished and a great location for getting to all the Black Hill sights. It was close to downtown Rapid City, close enough to walk which we really enjoyed. The one negative we found was that St Joseph is a busy street and there was a lot of street noise - cars, trucks, motorcycles - from early morning until late in the evening. Overnight was quiet for sleeping, so that was good. Also, there were guests in the apartment above us and we could hear them moving around if we were all there at the same time. I think that kind of goes with an older home like this. The apartment was very updated with nice furniture, a compact but functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a small shower. It was well supplied - hair dryer, towels, TP, shampoo etc. Other items included a luggage rack, iron and ironing board, coolers, hangers, vacuum cleaner. The king bed was very comfortable. The host was very helpful and communicated well, responded promptly to any questions.

Cozy Rapid City Stay

We had a lovely stay at this studio in Rapid City. The location walking distance from a number of restaurants which we enjoyed, but it was a bit noisy with traffic and trains throughout the night - most of it was blocked easily with earplugs though! The studio was very clean throughout and well appointed. Thanks for a great visit!

Comfy and convenient home base for exploring Black Hills

Comfy, cozy, nicely decorated small space to eat and sleep while exploring the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands, Devil's Tower. Close to downtown Rapid City, only 30 minutes to Mt Rushmore, and everything else within an hour. Safeway, gas, restaurants all close by. Perfect for single travelers or a couple.

Great location and perfect for couples

Very cute suite and just perfect for two. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would have liked to spend time on the patio but it was too warm outside. If I were to change one thing it woukd be the parking. However, we were able to park in front and unload so that was helpful. unour

Great little studio

Great little place. Very clean, and when we arrived, there was very inviting music being played inside. AC worked very well. Great place for a couple. The only thing I had an issue with, was the parking. It was a little confusing. Jami checked on us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed.

fantastic location, walkable to food & drink. Very comfortable apartment, we made it our Hub for trips to Badlands, Custer SP. Devils Tower, Sturgis, Deadwood, Hot Springs mammoth site, Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse, Would not be surprised if we stay here again. :-) (there were a couple of "My Cousin Vinnie" moments when the 2am train wanted to blow it's whistle 4 or 5 times though lol).

Cute & Clean!

This was the perfect stay for what I needed. The bed is beyond comfortable and the area is very quiet. I loved walking up to the house through the little courtyard and was greeted nearly every morning by a sweet little bunny :) Would highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in the Rapid City area.

Wonderful place to lay my head

Visiting The Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Wind Cave were made so much more comfortable and safe with the home base of this beautiful space. Thank you so much to Jami for extra care with air conditioning during one of the hottest weeks in SD. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Black Hills Touring

We were looking for a base from which to do trips to all of the places of interest in the Black Hills. This VRBO fit the bill admirably! We spent 7 days doing the Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, Deadwood and just about everything else in the area. Our VRBO in Rapid City made all of this possible. It had everything we needed and provided a lovely place to relax after a long day of sightseeing!

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient to down town.

Lovely property, very clean and owners were so easy to communicate with… the kitchenette had all we needed to make our breakfast and lunch. We really appreciated the owners suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Check out was clearly communicated and easy… Thanks for a great stay in Rapid City!

Matt and I love to travel. We love luxury, comfort and convenience everywhere we stay. Our goal with our vacation rentals is to provide a luxurious and memorable experience to all of our guests. We try to ensure that our properties are comfortable and have everything needed for that home away from home.

We have five renovated homes in the "Village at St. Joseph" that accommodate each size of family and/or a group of friends. The Village allows guests to stay in the same area, yet also have their private spaces. There is a three-bedroom home located next door to this studio apartment, as well as a two-bedroom apartment upstairs and a one-bedroom apartment within the same complex. There are three additional one-bedroom homes available in the Village. We have created an outdoor commons area for all the guests to enjoy the beautiful area and create unique memories.

The homes are downtown and within walking distance to all our favorite breweries, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as boutiques. The homes are also within walking distance to two of the main hiking and mountain biking hills downtown, M-Hill and Skyline Recreational Park, which allows guests to a quick workout in. This location is ideal as it has direct access all the main intersections of Rapid City, easy access to I-90 and Mt. Rushmore.

You will see me (Jami) around the homes daily because I love to clean the homes personally and add special touches to make my guests feel at home. I also love outdoor work and spend quite a bit of time landscaping the property, adding new beauty to the landscaping every year.
