It is Maui's Best Kept Secret!

We have settled on Unit H3-1 and stayed there numerous times. In fact we have Summer of 2024 booked! The location is perfect for us. The home is very clean and well equipped. We are raising a 12 year old, so the beach and ocean is literally steps away from the lanai. The big pool and it is big is so inviting and very close to the unit. The grounds are very beautiful and exceptional They have that old time Maui vibe to them...love it! Malea is by far our favorite rental manager. She is well liked by all and is excellent at what she does. I would and have recommended this property to family and friends.See you in the Summer of 2024!

The storage area had a few toys and all the supplies needed to enjoy a family vacation. The furniture, including the fold-away couch, was in great condition. Ma'alaea Surf is a little older, but it works in your advantage. The units are larger and the property is more spread out. You really do feel almost as if you have a private beach to yourselves. Everything is well maintained and updated, so you have a modern feel/experience. This place really is charming and perfect visually. The location is perfect too. You are steps away from an amazing bakery, a store and the most famous Shave ice in Hawaii. You really never have to get in a car.Speaking of, there is plenty of parking and all the amenities you would expect such as on-site laundry, two pools and shuffle board. Checking in and out was contactless, everything was arranged and ready for me as planned. Communication was easy and timely.I rarely want to travel anywhere twice, but I will definitely be back to this resort.

Great job restoring a keepsake

Reviewer Comments: We were some of the first guests when the resort reopened june 1st after the Dec 9 2021 storm that created substantial damage to the entire property. Repairs to the unit we had originally reserved were not completed yet but Malea was great about communicating that and offered another unit that had been completely remodeled. With new installations come the possibility of warranty issues and we experienced that firsthand. But we were not deterred and Malea was fabulous responding to our dilemmas. She even brought us a bag of ice (she didn't need to do that) we have stayed here many times over the years and cant wait to return next year to see all the new plantings in full foliage. Mahalo!

The kitchen had all the essentials, and was clean. the view is perfect!! they take good care of the resort, beautiful landscaping, and the pool water was crystal clear. very relaxing and happy place.

We love our condo in the Ma'alaea Surf and have been renting here since 2014. It's a unique location that recalls old Hawaii, or at least a hint of what it must have been like in the 50's and 60's. I would love to bring my children and grandchildren here to enjoy this beautiful spot.

Considered location and price, found Ma'Alaea Surf Resort, took a shot. OMG, after a couple days we tried to find flaws or cons but were unable to ! This place is absolutely perfect; quiet, A+ location, clean, everything you need and more. We're now adding up our receipts to see if we can go back next year ! Malea, Ryan & Sherry were awesome. No need to shop around next time. Thank you Ma'Alaea Surf Resort, what a nice secret you have !!
