We had a great time with 4 families at the Nashville Farmhouse. It worked perfectly for our week long softball tournament as it was close to the fields and gave us a cool place to relax between games. Great location with lots of shopping and restaurants within 10 minutes. Yet it feels like you are in the quiet country as you relax by the pool. We even saw a doe and her two fawns! Easy trip to downtown or opryland for music and shopping. Beds were comfortable, the A/C worked great and our teen girls had a blast in the big bunk room. The owners were very responsive to any questions. We would stay here again.

Memorial Day Weekend Reunion

The place was clean a lot of room. The grandkids loved the “secret passage” from the garage to the bedrooms. Cornhole was a hit and the kids even brave the pool even though it was a bit cool for memorial Day.Thanks for helping us make great memories.

Great property. Nice pics online true to property in person. Pool and deck clean. Close to groceries, gas and other needed supplies. Easy highway access to and from property. Holiday weekend saw some fireworks. No trash pick up I guess due to holiday. Front porch is hidden from all bushes and foliage growth. Beds and bedding nice and comfy. Clean inside. Highly recommend this property!

we did have a great time, few things I think needs attention. the pool was dirty when we arrived, the septic smelled pretty bad, and if someone was showering, and another bathroom toilet flushed, you could hear the plumbing getting backed up in the sink under the stairs. I think the septic system needs some fixing, as the house doesn't seem to be able to keep up with 16 people. The toliets don't flush very well. Yes, host has a note on each toliet, but they don't flush even being careful. the bedroom above the master needs a new mattress pretty bad. House could use more items in the kitchen, zip lock bags, foil, etc. House was also low on toilet paper, we had to buy more.

Good for families- needs maintenance

We had 12 people and the house had great spaces for us to be together to eat, be outside, and relax. The pool was great and they had plenty of products we usually have to bring to a rental like dish detergent, trash bags, paper towels, and extra toilet paper. It does need some maintenance- specifically the pool stairs which are disconnected from the deck. If you have small kids I would check that the stairs have gotten fixed. There are some other minor things like closet doors and toilet seats that need to be fixed.

Great home outside of Nashville

Our group of 9 had a fantastic stay here! The house is spacious, nicely decorated, and perfect for hanging out both indoors and around the pool. While some general maintenance and clean-up outside would enhance the experience, we still had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. Plus, stores, restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops are just a 10-minute drive away, making it super convenient!

Wonderful Host

Our stay at this property was a great experience. The host was the most responsive that I have ever dealt with at a VRBO. They did everything necessary to make our stay as easy as possible. The house was clean and spacious. Thanks for helping make this a great trip.

Great locale

This house has a great location 20-30 min to Downtown/Opry. Quiet setting and was a great set up for our three family vacation (6 adults & 6 teens). It could definitely use some TLC! Needs a real good deep cleaning top to bottom, fresh linens and some fresh paint.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The house could use a good cleaning and some TLC, but overall it was a good experience. Everything went smooth as you would expect.

Cute property tucked away with lots of privacy

The house was super cute, upstairs was a kids heaven!! They had their own space and so did the adults. Upstairs bathroom needs a bit of attention but worked well for us. Seems as though renters don't care for the property like it was their own. We enjoyed our stay and it was centrally located that you could see sights without driving too far!! Great stay! Thank you!

Big group

We came down to Nashville for a wedding. We were able to sleep 15 people with no problem. The house was huge and it did t feel like we were in top of each other. The entire process was super easy. Thank you for everything.

Nice but definitely needs some cleaning and repairs.

We stayed for our parents 50th Anniversary. Great communication until we arrived and I asked about the fireplace (didn't work) and if he knew the barn door was off th3 hinge...no response and later on it fell off completely on my niece! Beautiful home and great size it just needs a good scrubbing and a repair man to get back to its glory! We did take a limo to Nashville and it took about 30 min.

Disappointed group of friends

Seven friends were looking for a relaxing place for a short vacation. The home itself was satisfactory but the pictures of the outdoor area were so deceiving. The outdoors is what sold us on this house. On our first full day there, the pool pump was spraying water and the level was below the skimmer. The owner asked us to unplug it and someone would come out and look at it. The next morning and evening, nothing had changed. It was still unplugged and had low water level. The third morning, still nothing. The pictures also showed a nice fire pit with chairs and a wood pile. The only thing we found was a fire pit up against the deck….nothing like pictured. Because of our disappointment, we checked out a day early. Before, throughout and after our stay, the communication with the owner was unacceptable. We had questions about the last payment, the door code, the pool and outdoor area, the tv options, and a possible reimbursement on the house. Sometimes there was a delayed response, but most times no response. All seven renters of this home have rented with VRBO in the past and have never been this disappointed! Also we have never given a negative review or asked for any money back. We wish we would have stayed elsewhere!!!

Property needs work especially outside

Unfortunately, we were mostly disappointed by this property. The kitchen/living room were nice and great to hang out with 9 people. When we arrived the toilet in the powder room would not flush; the management took care of this quickly. I asked about an iron and a fan. The iron was fine, ironing board desperately needs a new cover, the fan did not work. Outlets in the master bath and the bathroom sink upstairs on the side with 2 beds did not work. I did not contact management about the outlets. The main issue was the Nest thermostat in the bunk bed room. It was EXTREMELY hot during the day making it uninhabitable for my children who wanted to nap. I did call, they said I could set the thermometer on a comfortable temperature but no matter what I tried, even looking up the user manual online, I could not get it to change. When we arrived back after a wedding on Saturday night, it was so hot that my children and granddaughter had to sleep in alternate places in the home. There seemed to be a schedule set that I could not change. The outside back porch was ok; we sat outside and played cornhole but everything was mostly covered in pollen and we had to wipe down the chairs before using. The beautiful picture shown of the front of the home is totally inaccurate; it is overgrown and the front porch and door cannot be accessed from outside. The location is remote but it has easy access to the highway back to Nashville and there were stores and restaurants within a few minutes.

Needs a lot of work and not maintained well

The property is beautiful, home is very inviting from the outside. And the pool was a nice bonus, however we were unfortunately unhappy with most other things with our stay. The cleanliness, the functionality. When we first arrived we noticed there was a lot of dark mold around the ceiling in the downstairs hall bathroom. It is a health hazard, so we decided out of that room during our stay. None of the outlets in any of the bathrooms work, which made it very hard for a group of girls to get ready conveniently. One of the couches in the family room was extremely dirty and covered in spill stains. The counter tops were dirty when we arrived and the trash bins outside were overflowing full so we had nowhere to put our trash. The clean towels they had in the closet for us all smelled like mildew. The refrigerator was only getting cold enough to keep our food and drinks a little colder than room temperature. We found spiders in the drawers in the upstairs bedroom and shower. This did not meet our expectations for the amount of money we paid. Some sort of refund seemed appropriate but wasn’t granted when I reached out about all of these issues. The property manager was easy to get ahold of, brought us new towels, had someone empty the trash, and offered up bug spray for the spiders.. but truthfully those things should have been handled before we arrived and, who wants to spray a house for bugs while they’re on vacation? I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Nice Overall But Needs Improvements

For what we paid for this property, it should have been better maintained. The photos make the house look truly remodeled but in reality the house has only cosmetic updates or builder grade replacements. A fair amount of the kitchen cabinets and drawers don’t work properly and I think every toilet seat was very loose and crooked. The towel holder in our Jack and Jill bathroom was coming out of the wall and the paint in that bathroom tub was peeling in numerous areas. Looking back at old reviews these same concerns were mentioned going back to April with no signs of corrections. I could see if we went the following week they may not be taken care of but 5 and a half months later with no repairs tells me that the owners don’t care about fixing the things that are wrong with the house. We brought our own bath towels with us based on poor reviews from others and we’re glad we did. The towels at the house looked like they were pulled out of a dumpster at the YMCA. Overall, the house served its purpose based on the size of our group but I wouldn’t stay there again. On a positive note, food at Jake’s Place two doors down was very good and reasonably priced. That I recommend.

So much potential, but needs work

Our family from several states chose to meet up here for a few days. The pics online looked great and the bunk room and pool sealed our choice. Upon arrival it was immediately noticeable that the home is not maintained very well. Carpets, shower curtains, furniture, walls, and linens were dirty and stained. Towels felt like leftovers collected over the years and many were old. Drywall around the shower in the upstairs bathroom was peeling and chipped and the towel holder was falling out of the wall, as well as several broken toilet seats. As mentioned by other reviewers, the front porch was overgrown and had a broken chair, as well as a porch column that was not even attached at the bottom. We arrived to ants in the kitchen and no laundry soap and only very gross sponges for cleaning dishes in the kitchen. For a home that can sleep so many people (easily 20 or more) the kitchen does not even have silverware for half that amount and very limited cookware. All that being said, we made the best of our stay. The pool worked for the kiddos and we enjoyed the nice-sized, covered back porch. The lot is very large and private. However, In the current condition, we would definitely choose another location next time.

Family Vacation

We stayed here for a family vacation. The house had plenty of space for our 9. There were some cosmetic and maintenance issues. The carpets, and walls could be cleaned. The window in the master on sweet should be fixed for privacy, and the drawers in the kitchen need fixed as well. The home is set in a perfect location with plenty of privacy and lots to do a short drive down the road. Home was BEAUTIFULLY decorated which made it feel more like a home away from home. Overall a great experience!
