CasaBlanco es una escapada en sí misma con tranquilidad ubicada en la parte posterior de la propiedad. Las aguas serenas del Río Blanco abren la puerta a la relajación con la belleza de las colinas y la claridad del agua. Es solo un corto viaje por las 99 escaleras de piedra para llegar a las aguas frías a continuación y un sendero natural que conduce a un hermoso parque privado.

CasaBlanco ofrece habitaciones principales divididas, cada una con sus baños completos y puertas privadas que acceden a la cubierta expansiva. Cada habitación ofrece una cómoda cama king size. The host was fine, clear communication in welcome email. The house was perfect for what we needed for our 5 nights in Wimberley. Lost a star because the floors were very dirty, so much so that our feet were grimy from walking around barefoot just a little while. That tells me they didn't mop between guests. And the biggest issue was how unbalanced the air conditioning was. The main area and bedroom off the kitchen were normal, but the bedroom off the living room was significantly warmer than the rest of the house (example: AC set to 71 and the other room was about 74-75). So we had to constantly move our toddlers pack n play between the two bedrooms for nap and bedtime.

Was a nice place, just had a few concerns. One being the back porch flooring pulling away from the main support. The house could have been a little cleaner. Also, please know that you are getting to the river easily.

The front yard was about a foot high. The ice maker made so much noise it was hard to sleep. on top of that my wife left her jbl speaker on the deck and when I emailed them I was told there was a 25 dollar retrieval fee plus shipping (which I understand ). I’ll just buy her another one but will not be using these folks again. Enjoy the speaker.

Relaxing family summer vacation

This stay was just what we needed for our family vacation! The view is beautiful from the back porch and the hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings. Check in was easy, we had no issues. The kitchen was very nice and clean, as were the bathrooms. The only thing I had a minor issue with was the clothes dryer…it doesn’t dry well at all. We had to hang all our clothes outside on the back porch to dry.Over all, our stay was great!

Great escape

We were very pleased with the property and the view of the Blanco from the large balcony that faces the river. Such a tranquil setting near the shops in Wimberley, just a few miles to shops and restaurants. There was a problem with the stovetop (2 burners weren’t working) but the owner had a repairman out to fix it within hours of our notifying him/her. The steps from the house to the river can be challenging, especially on the way up so we packed a small cooler before heading down. That meant fewer trips up and down.

Blanco River

Location was great with easy check in, host was very communicative. House sits right on the blanco river, the stairs down to the bank are not for the faint. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was okay, could use a cleaning also the grill outside is no good. Had a hard time keeping the flames going and had a rusted out hole right in the middle. I would definitely rent this house again.

Great place!!

Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend. The house was clean and the hot tube was nice after hiking and walking around town. We will be back.

Great Little House

The property was lovely. Loved the back patio with the amazing view! There was a really cool stairway to the clear blue-green river below that even had a trail next to it. Very relaxing had a great time.

Nice place overall

Overall, the place is nice. The following is an honest review of what to be aware of. It’s a mostly quiet neighborhood. There are neighbors so we did hear people doing things but nothing loud. Randomly during the day, the fire alarms went off twice. We were just sitting there. No cooking or fires of any kind going. Thankfully it didn’t happen while we were sleeping. They’ve cheaped out on a few things to save money which I know a lot of vacation rentals do. They had cheap toilet paper, paper towels, and scratchy bathroom towels. The hot tub is nice, but it wasn’t fully clean. It had dirt/sediment sitting on the seats and bottom.The view is great! The river is accessible but not easily. There are a lot (96 to be exact) of steep stairs! Also, not a lot of space to do much by the river once you get down there. I tried fishing with no luck (not a great time of year for that). It was hard to cast, however, because of the brush and trees. Again, nice but not quite five stars.

Perfectly peaceful

My sister and I wanted tofind a place to spend a couple of days together and this home was perfect. It was peaceful and relaxing. Loved the porch and the view. It had everything we needed. Great communication with host.

Nice but there were issues and property management company refused any compensation for issues

TV a major issue. Couldn’t get standard network stations without logging into a streaming service. My only streaming service was not a choice. Garbage disposal not working, only 2 burners on stove working, oven dirty, under cabinet lighting not working, flashing lights in the smoke detectors annoying. Was peaceful and water was nice. Management company unwilling to compensate for shortcomings listed above.

Perfect getaway for HS senior daughter and I

Loved this beautiful property. About 12 min drive into Wimberly and absolutely loved how quiet and private this neighborhood was. Close enough to town but private enough to play around in the river or explore along the river without a bunch of people around. Daughter looking into TX State so only 20 min drive to campus so that was nice as well. We are staying here again for Bobcat days in October! Highly recommend and owner’s very responsive to messages. 👍👍👍

Beautiful outdoor space

My husband and a couple of our friends stayed at this location this weekend and here are my take aways. The outside was lovely! The water levels were perfect and we floated the river/ hot tubbed all weekend.if you’re looking at this location check the water levels! The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The room to the right (if walking into the home) is where I stayed. Had an incident in the bathroom where I got locked inside. The door couldn’t be completely shut after that. The door to the room itself also gave us a hard time as well. The other room is where my friends stayed and their only complaint was there was a suspicious stain on the shower curtain. The couch was comfy but not big enough for 4 people to sit comfortably and one of us had to sit on the ground. I would Maybe suggest a smaller dinner table and maybe a sofa chair. The kitchen is a great size but only two burners work. We did have some bugs in the house as well but it is summer in the hill country. Over all we had a really great time but I would Say the home needs a bit of TLC and updates. The owner was responsive to any and all questions I had.
