Very comfortable and cozy with a beautiful View!!!

Awesome place to say

Best place to stay. The family is amazing that rents the place out and they go above and beyond for you. You are treated like a family member. It’s very quiet and peaceful and you’re only a minute or so from the beach. Another plus is you will get to meet LuLu !!!

My wife and I selected this cottage because we wanted to bring our Jack Russell who is our 6th child. It worked out perfectly. It was located on the Intracoastal Waterway with a fantastic view with privacy. It was a short five minute drive to an awesome beach. The best part was our host Sandra who made sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Perfect spot!

We loved this small garden apartment on the intracoastal waterway. It was so quiet and peaceful yet conveniently located near beach access, restaurants, and other spots we wanted to explore. It was just as pictured and the owner was very responsive. We just had a little trouble getting the door open at first but she was quick to respond. It's very shady, which is nice for an evening swing or walk the dog but bring bug spray for mosquitos. Loved this place!

Intracoastal waterway bliss

This is a wonderful property located on a private road nestled on the Intracoastal Waterway with spectacular views of the island of Ocean Isle Beach. The owner is truly wonderful and knows so much history in the area. If you enjoy RV-ing but are aging gracefully out of that lifestyle then you would throughly enjoy this home. Nature abounds with daily sitings of dear, bald eagles, and birds of prey. Peaceful, very clean, all one level. I cannot say enough about this accommodation!!

Quiet clean and close to everything we needed.

We stayed in this apartment with 2 adults 2 children and a small dog. It met all of our requirements and then some. Beautiful views off of the back. The apartment was extremely clean and all of Sandras recommendations were spot on. It’s a short drive (3 minutes total) over the bridge to the beach which is family oriented and clean. Local restaurants were also very good and ice cream 2 blocks away. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Beautiful and Quaint Stay

We absolutely loved our stay here! Photos do not do it justice - even more beautiful in person. The views are just spectacular. The apartment was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed (except maybe an iron). Host was also wonderful - she made sure we were completely taken care of. Totally enjoyed our long weekend away.

A private cottage apartment beach experience

My family and I enjoyed our visit. If you are wanting privacy, quiet, and comfort, this is the place for you. We were only a short drive across the bridge to the beach. Also close to the grocery store, plenty of restaurants, and an ice cream shop. The host is wonderful to work with and provided everything we could need. We had two adults and two teenage boys, as well as a dog, and had plenty of room, utilizing the couch in the living room as well at times. The apartment was spotless clean on arrival as well. Would absolutely stay here again!

Felt Like Home

This was probably the most relaxing vacation week ever. Sandra's place is very comfortable and quiet. And access to the beach, including parking, was not a problem. We'll be back.

A little piece of heaven

The Waterway Garden Apt is wonderful place to get away from the crowds at the beach but still be near the water. It's location along the Intercoastal Waterway is beautiful and generally very quiet except for occasional boat traffic. It's a great place for bird watching and you might even see other wildlife such as deer running through the property. The apartment itself is very nicely appointed, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hostess Sandra was wonderful and a great source of information about the area. Her tip to visit the Inlet View restaurant in Shallotte was one of the highlights of our trip. We would eagerly return for another visit.

Incredible

Used to come to OIB as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s. Have waterskied and fished by Sandra’s place hundreds of times. OIB has changed so much in the past 40 years, but Sandra made us feel so at home. Her place is cozy, warm, and the views of the intracoastal are spectacular. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience

Sandra is a wonderful hostess. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully updated. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfy and we slept soundly. The property is quiet and well maintained. We left feeling like we were saying good bye to a good friend. This is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Thanks again Sandra

Beautiful setting and accommodations.

Our hostess was wonderful. Accommodations were upgraded, and amenities were excellent. Great view across the ICW was wonderful from shaded, padded swing in the backyard, or from the covered deck.

Amazing time

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend with our two dogs and had an absolute blast. The views are great and you could sit in the backyard all day and not get bored. Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s! Beautiful views of the waterway from the yard. Very good location- convenient to the beach and restaurants. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Sandra is an extremely helpful and generous host! We had a great stay and will definitely be back.
