La Scala 1572 se compone de una gran cocina y 2 dormitorios. Están equipadas con diversos servicios (WiFi, TV vía satélite, caja fuerte, baño privado) y están finamente amuebladas. Camas: 5 (habitación Tulipano 1 cama doble, habitación La Scala 1 cama doble y 1 cama individual).

Amazing!

The property was in a perfect place. The Barbarossa festival was a fun experience. our host, carola, was so nice and very helpful. She sent us so many fun things to do in the area. We were very pleased with everything and will visit again!

Tuscan Getaway

This place is absolutely wonderful! Carola's communication and the time she took to make sure we had our wine tasting, our olive oil tasting and just having an overall understanding of the area and what we should see was amazing. I can't recommend this apartment and the hosts enough. Can't wait to come back!

Fabulous home base in San Quirico (Val d’Orcia)

This is a great property in San Quirico, a small town that is perfectly situated for exploring all of the beautiful sights in this area. The apartment was perfect, with all of the amenities we could want. Carola was an amazing host and gave us a detailed guide with her recommendations for day trips and other fun things to do in the area. Highly recommend!

Coming from a vacation home back round owning STR Business and building them for investors I have great knowledge in what makes an experience that a guest will never forget. Gorgeous apartment in a quaint setting

We loved our stay at LaScala! The apartment was well appointed, and Carola was a kind, helpful and very responsive host. We hope to come back some day since our stay was short and there is so much to explore in the area. San Quirico is a gem of a spot - good location and doesn't get overrun with tourist buses (don't think we saw any during our stay?). We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Carola!

A lovely historic apartment in San Quirico

My wife and I had a lovely 6-day stay in this apartment in the heart of the lovely village of San Quirico d'Orcia. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location. Carola was a wonderful host, providing lots of helpful information before our stay, greeting us and showing us around when we arrived, and providing rapid and complete help during our stay. We could not ask for more. We would happily stay again.

A fabulous stay

Everything was fabulous. The communication prior to our visit was excellent. Carola met us and showed us through the property so that we had all the information we required. She gave us great tips on fabulous places to visit and was extrmely helpful with parking, even coming with us in our car to show us the parking place. The property is lovely and with a great history. It was also a great place from which to explore the Tuscan countryside and beautiful villages. Highly recommend this property.

450 years of hospitality

Carola could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The apartment was apparently granted the papal equivalent of a 5 star review back in 1572 and the ethos has stayed. The apartment is lovely, well equipped and perfectly located in one of the most picturesque towns in one of the most picturesque parts of Tuscany. Everywhere you turn there is another picture postcard view. Definitely worth a visit.

Tuscan adventure

La Scala 1572 was a great 'home base' for our Tuscan adventure. Perfectly located within short walking distance of all of historic San Quirico d'Orcia. Also, great parking nearby. Carola was wonderful and helped us find a perfect wine tasting in Montalcino along with the thermal hot springs bath in nearby Bagno Vignoni. The property is perfectly located between Montalcino and Montepulciano. Also a short drive (less than one hour) to Siena. I can't imagine a better location to have a perfect Tuscan vacation. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic stay

Historic, clean and beautiful yet practical apartment. Carola herself went above and beyond to help us get settled; we thank her so much!! Gave us instructions for the apt/area, made our dinner reservation the night we arrived. She booked a cooking class for our family in the nearby countryside at the Valdorcia Belvedere B&B (no commission to her). The cooking class and stay at the apt were delightful highlights of our whole trip. Grazie!

Book It!

We knew we were going to love this place when booked and it did not disappoint. Communication with Carola was so easy & she was super responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, safe and secure. Her husband Angelo owns an excellent neighborhood bar, all of her restaurant recommendations were awesome, her knowledge of the area was extremely helpful and we can’t recommend the place and this host more than to say…Book IT! The apartment is in the middle of the most photographed and beautiful area of Toscana. Rent a car and cruise around this area and enjoy the Italian hospitality and countryside. Food and wine and scenery heaven!

Pretty apartment in beautiful setting

Carola’s renovated apartment in the centre of San Quirico is a great base to explore the town and surrounding area. We arrived during a heat wave and Carola proactively supplied an extra fan to supplement the 2 already there. She also provided a helpful tip about a nearby swimming pool where we spent a fun and relaxing afternoon escaping the heat. Parking lot is about 150 meters behind and below the apartment building. Unload and load luggage directly in front of apartment building.

Highlight of Tuscany - Just like the pictures

Staying in Tuscany and at this VRBO in San Quirico d'Orcia was the highlight of our three week trip to Italy. The description and pictures of the property were 100% accurate. Very comfortable and well accommodated. Carola, our host, is one of the best VRBO hosts we have encountered in all our travels. I can't say enough nice things about Carola or her property. Parking is a challenge when traveling and always a concern when staying at a 16th century apartment inside an ancient walled city - but not in this case. Parking was close and convenient. We used the San Quirico d'Orcia property as a base for our time in Tuscany. Every direction we travelled was breath taking. Carola helped us with many recommendations (wine tasting, cooking classes, site seeing) and in every case, all proved to be highlights of our trip. Next time we are in Tuscany we will plan our trip to ensure we are able to stay here again.

Great experience in a lovely town

We spent 6 nights in this historic and lovely apartment. Carola did a great job renovating this property, The location was great for exploring the surrounding countryside. We also enjoyed wandering the small town of San Quirico d’Orcia. Very nice people! Communication was excellent. Carola met us at the apartment and was very welcoming. She showed us everything we needed to know and gave us some dining recommendations. She also connected us with Anna who arranged a wonderful wine tasting and cooking class/dinner. Thanks for the memories!

Great property centrally located

Carola was a Great Host. See meet us at the Italian Cafe’ and personally walked us to the apartment. Carola provides you with plenty of local information and guides you to a great vacation. The town will give you a great feel of the “true Italy”. Great place to stay and visit the near buy Brunello wineries of Montepulciano and Montalcino. Very comfortable and nicely decorated home.
