Este magnífico lugar en el corazón del Caribe es uno que difícilmente olvidará. Su imperturbable y pintoresca vista panorámica al mar azul turquesa de 180 ° es simplemente impresionante, por decir lo menos. A week in a snorkeling paradise

A wonderful place to visit if you look for privacy, away from tourist crowds, and direct access to nature. One of the best coral reefs, full of fish, just downstairs, and a small beach - only for you. Hosts are very hospitable and accommodating, breakfasts - delicious.

Beautiful Views and friendly hosts

Reynaldo and his family were gracious and perfect hosts for our stay. We used the property for filming a movie and took advantage of the various decks overlooking the ocean, as well as the private beach. Everything worked out great for us and the property was perfect for what we needed.

Simply Amazing

My wife and I had the most wonderful trip to Lux Cabin. Reynaldo and his wife are amazing hosts that made us feel welcome and catered to our every need. The property is beautiful, safe, and private. Having essentially your own private beach, and a place to snorkel and kayak was so fun. The breakfast were amazing every day and the view while we ate was out of this world. I can’t recommend a stay at Lux Cabin more highly!!

Paradise!

Reynoldo and Mariuccia were the most fantastic hosts! Their space is beautifully designed to give you a comfortable outdoor oasis. Views of the ocean are seen from every cozy patio and deck. Eating al fresco, they prepare the most delicious and unique meals from local merchants. The beach is private with some of the best snorkeling on the island right at your doorstep. They have really thought of everything and exceeded all our expectations!

Amazing PARADISE

Reylondo and his wife were the perfect host!! There place is unbelievably awesome, I wanted my wife’s 50th birthday to be the best ever and Reylondo absolutely made it happen. We ate breakfast and dinner every day on the balcony overlooking the ocean, a couple massage was set up for us one evening on the balcony “the most amazing ever.” Our cottage was perfect, very comfortable, very clean and perfect for out getaway. We enjoyed our days on the private beach area, snorkeling, swimming and romancing. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend there place as the perfect place for that most special occasion!!! Thanks so much Reylondo for making Tavia’s birthday the best ever!!

The ultimate experience for couples

This is not just a property; it’s an experience…..and there isn’t enough space to fully describe everything it has to offer. My wife and I were able to connect in a way we couldn’t find anywhere else. Every amazing meal served at the most picturesque Caribbean dining table for two. Each day on the secluded beach was peaceful and healing; paired with a couples massage at sunset for the ultimate relaxer. The hosts were more than just accommodating, they were gracious in every way….really wonderful people who went out of their way on every occasion to make each day amazing.. This place was perfect for us….we’ve found our zen.

Can I give 10 stars?

What a beautiful place hosted by a warm and welcoming couple. From the first communication with Reynaldo I knew that our experience would be amazing. The place was magical. Our meals yummy. Conversation delightful. Only wish we had longer. They went above and beyond. From leading us out of the area through the beck roads to avoid the Carnival parade traffic to their concern when our flight got cancelled. Reynaldo even checked in on us to see if we ultimately made it home. Feels like we found new friends... Well definitely be beck!

Perfect Island Getaway, Attentive Hosts

In a word - Fabulous! My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary and couldn't be happier with our choice. Truly a unique, private, romantic experience. Amazing views, multi-level outside deck spaces, private beach, snorkeling. Daily breakfasts were scrumptious and left us full until lunch. Dinners we chose to have at the property were expertly prepared as well. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. A short walk or quick car ride to Baby Beach and Rogers Beach. Great local options for lunch/dinner including Kamini's Kitchen and The Flying Fishbone. Suggest renting a car so you can fully explore the island, but you'll be happy to return to your quiet corner of paradise at the end of the day! Reynaldo and Mariuccia were gracious and attentive hosts. Highly recommend!

Romantic stay, stunning views, great service!

My wife and I stayed here for the last leg of our honeymoon, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Reynaldo and his wife have created an exceptionally beautiful space here overlooking the Caribbean. The vibe is romantic, and while laid back, it is clear that this space has been put together with intention. No detail has been overlooked, and we had everything we needed for a beautiful beach vacation. Reynaldo an his wife are excellent cooks, and prepared some delicious meals for us, and were even able to accommodate my dietary restriction. The property is very close to the well-known Baby Beach, but one pleasant surprise for us was just how calm and swimmable the water is on their beach. We were able to swim and snorkel with ease, and spent all of our beach time right here. The views, space, atmosphere, and hosts were really wonderful. In my book this beats a downtown hotel any day of the week.

Paradise in Aruba

This is our 3rd time in this beautiful place, I like to call our hideaway in paradise. I got engaged here ( We booked this GEM not knowing where or what we were getting into~ we always did resorts) We went back a few months later to make plans for our Wedding and stayed here for our honeymoon. Each time ~ We say "NOOOO ~ It's can't be time to go home already"? Ray and Mariuccia are the nicest hosts ~ they care about your comfort and ensure you want for nothing. Did I mention the breakfasts and dinners? Delicioso!!!! The beach! Ray convinced me to snorkel this time on the beach which is steps from our room... omg! Im so glad I did it . The beauty I saw at the edge of the water was amazing. My new husband Jim explored out more( as he has done it before) and is amazed and what he sees each time. I probably can go on and on and on ~ But find out for yourself you will love it just as much as we do. R & M ... See you soon ~ Again! Liz & Jim New Jersey

Little disappointed

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We have been to Aruba 5 times and was looking to get away from the crowds at High rise and low-rise area. The pros-It was in a very nice spot on the ocean. The 3 level decks on the water were very nice. Reynaldo was very nice. Breakfast was great. Cons- Pictures are a little deceiving Not a lot of room in your apartment. nowhere to put clothes. No oven in case you want to cook. Refrigerator is a little college dorm fridge. There is not hot water. warm (maybe) there was a stove top but zero pots or pans. zero windows in bed area, even in daytime was hard to see. little lighting. mini cave. The outside area could really use some upgrading. My wife was a little concerned going up and downstairs. Neighbors have a couple of dogs and first night they barked all night. Bathroom, no TP in toilet, have to put in Barrel next to toilet. Some people might be fine with all of this. We just couldn't get comfortable. We really wanted to like this place but just couldn't. Stayed two nights and left.

Wonderful Romantic Getaway

If you are looking for a place to get away from the tourists and enjoy some romantic time on the beach, this is the perfect place for you. This small, but clean and modern "cabin" (AC, bath & shower, kitchenette, comfortable king-size bed, wi-fi, etc.) is situated right on the ocean. The property sits high above the water, but there are stairs leading down to the water, stopping at various levels with additional places to relax (couch, lounge chairs, hot tub, outdoor shower, etc.). The beach is relatively private - there is access from some neighboring properties but we were there in January and saw one other couple only once in four days. The beach is a great spot, with wonderful snorkeling near the shore, and access to kayaks to explore the cove and the area to the south. The hosts, who live on the property in their house, are WONDERFUL! They are very interesting people, who strive to make your stay the most enjoyable experience that they can. While they live on the property, we typically only saw them at mealtimes, when we had the most enlightening conversations. Otherwise, they leave the beach and all the amenities to you! Furthermore, breakfast is included and they will cook any other meals for you as well. Take them up on this - they are amazing cooks and you will feel pampered and spoiled, and satiated to boot! The only things nearby are a couple of beautiful public beaches and small restaurants, about a mile to the south, and an abandoned oil refinery in the opposite direction (a bit of an eyesore, but an interesting piece of Aruban history and we didn't mind). The island is small though, so you can get anywhere from here, within an hour, if you have a car. (We did not rent a car, and instead chose to spend all of our time here, which was so relaxing.) This is the perfect place to get away from the hustle-and-bustle of the tourist areas, slow down, and enjoy the Aruban beaches and ocean. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and give our highest recommendation.

The Best Experience We Ever Had On Vacation!

Where do we start? Each of our 7 days was a new and wonderful experience. The room, view, multi-level decks, white sand, blue water, tropical fish, nearly private beach and peace were actually eclipsed by the warmth, cuisine and attention to detail or hosts offered. Reynaldo and Mariaucha are the friends we never knew we had. We got engaged on the first night of this trip and they absolutely went out of their way to help me make it happen. And they were just as excited as we were! We highly recommend their meal package. Very accommodating to most diets. If you can't relax here ... you can't relax. We'll be back next year for our honeymoon. See you then!

It’s a beautiful one bedroom suite with functional kitchen and a bathroom with both shower and tub.

We were treated like VIP’s everyday. The best breakfasts (brunches as we slept in every day) to help enjoy the beautiful View of the ocean, ski and nighttime stars. We love to snorkel and the small private beach has some of the best fish wildlife on the island. Very relaxing, we will Come back again. Bill & Christina

Best hosts imaginable and wonderful property

We had an amazing, relaxing weekend thanks to the exceptional hosts Reynaldo and his wife (didn't catch spelling of her name) who definitely know what they're doing. Definitely ask about their all meals package which will save you a ton of money and will satisfy as they are both gourmet chefs (try the eggplant parmigiana--best of our lives). Great snorkeling with rocky reef populated with some coral and lots of small fish, feet from the sandy beach. Kayaking is available from the property with a scenic island and sea turtles. Be aware that you will see the nearby oil refinery, but it hasn't been active in years so there's no pollution from it--just somewhat unsightly. It won't detract from your stay so long as you are expecting it. Two friendly, protective dogs and interesting birds to be seen in the neighborhood. This is a chance to save a bundle while experiencing the quieter and more authentic Aruba that the locals see and avoid the west side tourist traps and high rises, and have a wonderful stay. Book this property--you won't regret it!
