UW Grad Weekend

Fantastic place! Easy in, easy out. Water access is a bit trickier than it looks on the pics but we had a blast on our kayaks and SUPs. Plenty of rooms for large groups. Kitchen has all the essentials and there’s a BBQ outside for the carne asada! Grabbed groceries at nearby Walmart so no need to pack too much.

Kitchen was poorly stocked. Drapes on the windows downstairs where there are pull out sofas for sleeping would have been nice. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and family time!

Beautiful view

I have a lot to say. First! The view is AMAZING. Our kids saw 2 Eagles on our first day. They have an Amazing water view from the master bedroom. A huge yard for our kids to play and run around, a trampoline and also pool table, puzzles and many more fun game activities there. Our kids loved the sea and have time to go down to the beach and picked shells. A lot of beds and sofa beds provided for our big family to sleep in. We loved it.

Nice location ,limited amenities

We stayed at this vacation rental for a long weekend woth other 4 families including kids. The heating was broken and the house was cold due to constant rains. Also, when hosting a big group ,we expected for extra comforters and mattresses which wasn't available. No games or movies for kids. Although the location was beautiful, couldn't do much.

Beautiful home

Beautiful spacious home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Downsides were the washing machine didn’t work and dirty towels were left inside. Downstairs toilet wouldn’t flush. Master bedroom sheets had stains and we could not get the heater to work. Wrote the property manager but never received a response. Things were otherwise clean and good.

The house was a total mess when we got there with someone trying to mow 3 ft tall grass.

The house was totally dirty throughout with blankets and dirty linen piled on the beds. The front and rear entries were full of tree debris and was carried in throughout the downstairs. We all just slept on top of beds with no sheets. We tried many times to call and did not get through.

Disappointed

The views from the house are beautiful, but the house is old and not updated or kept up. Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home, yard hadn’t been mowed in weeks as the weeds and grass were knee high, the path to the beach was not kept up at all either. The deck was filthy and needs pressure washing, the BBQ grill is completely rusted on the inside, garbage was overflowing upon arrival and there weren’t enough towels and blankets for everyone. called twice our first day about some of these issues and someone came out and emptied the trash…..nothing else was addressed. It’s also a very loud house and the mattress in the master bedroom is old and ‘sinky’. Both of the advertised game tables were broken and/or missing pieces. The kids did have fun on the trampoline. We made the most of our stay but would not be staying here again on future visits.

Oasis house

I have rented many houses from Vrbo with great experiences . Sadly not this one. You might want to consider not using this one or go in for a review. First off it was filthy especially refrigerator and kitchen. Stuck on old food etc. we had ten. I verified if there were 4 twin beds. Answer from them was” yes. NO ONLY two. So some had to use the hideaways… guess what ?no blankets !! For them. Everything needs updating, paint, sink facet ready to come up done, no stove light, working ice maker, way over priced for what we got. 10:00 am check out and 4:00 check in? Basically average over $1,000 per night and barely had time to stay there. 20 people but only 4 cars? Do the math huge driveway so neighbors were effected. . I also said we would be playing g music instruments in the afternoon nosing neighbor taking pictures?!?! We were not doing anything wrong -and what I told them we were there for a festival we were gone all daySsturday. Should get cleaning g deposit backleast get the cleaning deposit. Back. I would not recommend unless they clean up ! Big space was nice and water view.

Never Again.....

Will never again stay at a Vacasa property... Where do I start... Our first grievance began upon arrival, and unfortunately was not our last. The front yard appears to have lacked any form of landscaping for a significant amount of time, resulting in grass/weeds that were knee high (or higher) in many spots. Entering the house did not change for the better. After entering the code for the keypad, the alarm proceeded to go off and would not consistently turn off. It ended up becoming a constant issue, to the point where the keypad required the batteries to be removed. Once we managed to enter the house, more shortcomings were discovered... Just some of our experience: -Landscaping/yard maintenance was nonexistent and the path to the bayfront was not navigable -Front Door alarm repeatedl going off whenever door was opened which required us to remove the batteries. -basic supplies not provided in appropriate quantities: toilet paper, only 1 hand towel for each bathroom, Not enough dishes or dishwasher detergent, trash bags etc. no laundry detergent and no extra bed linens. (the bed linens were needed since one of the beds had sheets with blood from previous renters) -No propane for the grill and it was dirty with no tools available to clean. Kitchen only had one hand towel.. -Kitchen tap was only hot water and the fridge water dispenser did not work correctly and did not make ice... -Air conditioning not functional -Don't get me started on the cleanliness!!! We had to sweep when we got there and had two good piles of obvious debris. Moldy flowers in the kitchen, dirty rugs and toilets... Don't think it was cleaned at all, looks like maintenance came in and made the beds then left... -Pictures are not at all what is there... Only one ottoman with no cushion in sitting area... The biggest issue with all of this is that we contacted them within two hours of check-in to let them know our concerns. We also replied to the text with the cleanliness rating as 2... NO RESPONSE.... The next morning we get a text back saying sorry we will contact local management.... It took 6 hours with multiple texts and phone calls before local management came in (unannounced except for door alarm) with some toilet paper and propane... No response on rest of issues. Contacted Vacasa after our stay with a lengthy/detailed complaint. no response, emailed again. Finally receiving a partial refund... Not as much as I had hoped but they did EVENTUALLY work with me...

Awesome Accommodations

The house was very spacious and beautiful! We loved all the sitting room and opportunities for privacy. Bedrooms were upstairs and were very large and comfortable. Many windows looked out to the water and it was very relaxing. Kitchen and bathrooms, as well as laundry room all were accessible and great for our group.

Family reunion

It lived up to expectations. Only issue was no cold water in kitchen and lack of paper products, ie garbage bags paper towels. No trash cans and when trash bags were put in front yard some animal ripped them up.

This house was very spacious and the views of the bay are gorgeous!

This house suited our large family really well with plenty of rooms, spacious areas, and comfortable bedding. A few notes to explain the 4-star review: no hot water upon arrival, grass more than 12” tall, and broken football table directly in the entry way - however all were minor inconveniences and hopefully the owner will take care of these before the next guests arrive.

Spacious property that needs some SERIOUS TLC

This place has so much potential. The view is beautiful. The house is spacious and COULD be comfortable BUT the lack of maintenance (chirping fire alarm needing battery replacement, several burnt out light bulbs, poorly equipped kitchen;, barely enough warm water for ONE short shower, stained bedsheets and coverlets, neglected and overgrown landscaping) and the lack of cleanliness (pet odors, dirty dishes in the cabinets and dirty countertops, kitchen floor was filthy, soiled and stained towels in the bathrooms, hair on toilet seats, dried toothpaste spattered on glass doors in master bath shower, dried muddy footprints from back door through entire first floor, dried “goo” on floor under dining room table and up table legs and on chairs; tabletop in kitchen sticky and dirty; debris, dog hair, food bits, confetti covering the carpet and floor in living room, all carpets needing vacuuming at the least…) would prevent me from renting a Vacasa property again.

Memorable family vacation place!

This property is amazing for a family vacation. The house is conveniently located in a safe neighborhood and is minutes away from grocery stores. It is fully furnished, well maintained and located right on the water front with an amazing view of Seattle downtown across the water. The kitchen was well setup with good quality utensils and appliances. Bedrooms were well furnished with wall decors, good quality beds, mattresses, and extra bedding. Bathrooms were well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with breakfasts on the patio deck. We also loved watching lots of birds and especially few eagles on the shallow waters during low tide. The kids loved the foosball table, the tire swing hanging off a big tree in the backyard, and a big size trampoline. We enjoyed family walks across sandy water front and long walks on the trail along the road watching river beds and ocean shores. Large front yard was a great play ground for kids and we played badminton and soccer.

Amazing view and big house

We stayed here for a few nights for reunion. We were 3 families of 4 people each. Everyone in the family had amazing time at this rental. The place is large enough for everyone's privacy. The game room and the family room overlooking kitchen was great place for gathering and socializing. We were able enjoy quiet time on the deck with the 180 degrees views of water. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. This is our new go-to place to relax.

My group and I were at the house during the snow fall after Christmas. Very beautiful area and nice house to accommodate our needs for three nights.

Amazing view

Amazing house with fresh apples, plums, blackberries in front yard. We had an amazing time. Pool table and some furniture on top floor was broken, but otherwise it was an amazing place.

Good time in port orchard

The property and backyard were beautiful. Great location, very responsive host, she brought us the extra sheets we needed very promptly and also gave us some money back because there weren’t enough sheets there. The only downside was that some of the pull out couches were dirty (had popcorn in crevices) and we didn’t have enough sheets at first.
