Acogedor dormitorio privado con baño en el nivel inferior de la casa. Cama matrimonial con colchón de espuma de memoria y base ajustable. La habitación también puede acomodar a 2 personas adicionales con un sofá cama de tamaño completo, para un total de 4 personas.

TV por cable con acceso a internet en el dormitorio, WiFi gratis para los huéspedes y acceso a la sauna privada para relajarse al final del día. Los huéspedes pueden utilizar la sala de juegos y el salón de la zona común para su ocio. Acceso directo al patio trasero privado para disfrutar del clima.

Check in was simple. The owners are easy going and pleasant to work with. The property is better suited for younger clients. To get into the unit you have to walk down a sloping yard, through a gate in the fence, down more of a slope and steps to the door. It’s not a great situation if the clients are older with even slight mobility issues. The game area and pool table are fine but it takes up half of the living area and there really isn’t anywhere to sit comfortably to watch tv or chat except the bedroom. The kitchen area is very tiny and tight and in need of a few more of the bare necessities you’d find even in say, a Residence Inn. It needs things like a corkscrew , salt and pepper, some serving utensils and glasses. The only way to cook anything is with the microwave so you have to buy ready to eat meals or eat out which is very costly. The unit is in the daylight basement of a home which is fine but we discovered that there is no door separating the two areas. There are only two curtains on the stairway for separation. This does not provide privacy or security for the clients. We were sitting at the table and were able to clearly hear the owners conversation. For the price this is a good place to stay but it needs a few things added.

Yvette's place was amazing! It was super clean, affordable, and in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The coffee and tea were appreciated and the huge place includes a beautiful game room and a sauna. The black-out curtains helped us sleep at night even though it was still very light outside at 11:30 pm. Check-in was very easy and Yvette was responsive. I would recommend a car if staying here, although car rental prices for the weekend were astronomical so we opted to do a $22 uber ride to/from the airport. There is a bus that gets you from the neighborhood directly into downtown, which is where we spent the majority of our time. Bus rides are $2 each way and the bus came on time according to their published schedule. The residents say "thank you" to the bus driver when they get off. That was nice to witness and we followed suit. There is a major supermarket with a deli department within walking distance where we could stock up on snacks. We also enjoyed the trail in the neighborhood that runs right along a creek. We would stay here again!

Clean, exactly what is posted!

Very clean, kind people. The only thing I wished was different was a little less priority on the games and pool table and more of a living room/ couch where you can watch the TV in the living room.

Alaska return

I was stationed in Anchorage from 1989-1993 and fell in love with the place. It was amazing to return over 30 years later. I'm still in love and will be back!The AB&B was exactly as advertised and we were invited to a Memorial day cook out by the hosts. They are great too.

Nice place but lacks security

The property was clean and well appointed. However, it is the basement of an occupied home. As such, you enter through a private door in the rear of the property. The problem was there was no walkway for the first part of the walk back. You need to be prepared to carry you bag across the grass as it would not roll. Then, once you’re through the gate you have stepping stones which were not much better. Once inside, you are required to take your shoes off. Finally, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, but there was no way to lock the door. This would not be as big an issue, except the only separation between the occupied upstairs was a staircase with a curtain at top and bottom. If I were a single woman I would not feel comfortable staying here. I suggest installing a door to the stairs and/or proper locks to the sleeping area.

Perfect little spot

Was in town for a class needed a cheap small place to crash. Only draw back was the two spaces were connected with a staircase. Made it slightly uncomfortable. Other then that was awsome! Loved the sauna

Beautiful space, great getaway

Great stay with great hosts, had a blast at their place. Clearly geared to making the guest experience great with the sauna, pool table, and games. Only hesitancy to suggesting to all family/friends was that the heating system right above bedroom (we think it was the baseboards at least) was loud kicking on upstairs woke us up many times. Outside of that it was an amazing location and stay.

Awesome stay! Host went above and beyond

My husband and I loved staying here! Yvette and her family did an amazing job with the living space. It looked just like the pictures. It was clean, had plenty of extra amenities like coffee, a bed that can be adjusted with a remote control, walk-in closet, and many more! She communicated where to park and how to enter the house very clearly. She was very kind to let us borrow a cooler that we requested to take food on some day trips. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back on any future trips. Thank you to you and your family, Yvette!

A cozy stay

A great stay that is super close to a main road meaning we could get to most places we wanted to go within 30mins or less. The inclusion of bathroom items that may have been forgotten was a wonderful touch. It was a wonderful place and I'm glad we stayed here.

Nice secluded rental

Great place to stay. Relaxed and peaceful. This is a basement rental of a family home. It was nice to Come back to rental and relax. While there was the occasional pitter patter of dog paws and cat hops . It didn’t bother me one bit. I rarely heard the homeowner and when I did it wasn’t that loud. After all, I was in their home. Great place for a pit stop for my excursions around anchorage for the week. Hosts were kind and friendly when I did see them. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay!!

Beautiful place in a wonderful, safe, neighborhood. Looks even better than the pictures. Huge space, yet still nice and cozy. Humongous bathroom with extra-large shower. Delightful hosts who were very responsive while still giving us all the privacy we wanted. Definitely would love to stay here again!!

Great location

Perfect location in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy access to both the Glenn and Seward Hwy's, and also Elmendorf (I went up for the Arctic Thunder air show). Although I didn't use the sauna, arcade games or pool table, the place was roomy, spotless and had a comfy adjustable bed and a great bathroom. A large grocery store was also a very short drive. I would definitely make this my home base for a future stay.

We are life long Alaskans who enjoy our wonderful state. We like to keep active in the summer time with camping, fishing and outdoor events. We are down to earth, family oriented people. We enjoy spending time with our adult children and grandchild any chance we get.

We choose to purchase our home because it was unique to our families needs. We have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Once we became empty nesters we didn't want to downsize because we cater to visiting family and friends. We enjoy the neighborhood and love the cul-da-sac that our home is in due to the low traffic and quiet area.

Our downstairs daylight basement was recently updated and allows for fresh accommodations. The spacious room and bathroom allow for our guest to stretch out and relax. Our guests enjoy an occasional game of pool and lounging and the sauna for extra relaxation.
