Esta cabaña se encuentra cruzando la calle desde el canal del lago Canada. Es el lugar perfecto para sentarse bajo las estrellas alrededor de la hoguera o acogerse a la chimenea de gas. Si el clima no lo permite, puede disfrutar del porche cerrado. La casa tiene capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente. Hay 2 dormitorios más grandes, ambos con colchones queen nuevos y un dormitorio más pequeño que también tiene una cama queen.
La cocina es la atracción principal con techos altos y concepto abierto al comedor y sala de estar. Está lleno de ollas, sartenes, platos y cubiertos si decide hacer sus propias comidas. Incluso almacenamos los gabinetes con especias.

Janet's place was just as described. It was clean, beds were comfortable, driveway was long enough for our vehicles, kitchen was well equipped, fire pit was lovely. Screen porch was a nice bonus! The dining table was large and the living area was cozy. Janet and Fred greeted me on arrival. They explained a few details about the property and left detailed instructions and information in writing, making our stay more accommodating. The the only thing that should be more known is that the tap water is not for consumption, not uncommon for the lake area,we showered and washed dishes ,etc with no ill effects . However,I believe that more drinking water should be left for the guests. Also our family likes it dark when we sleep, 1 bedroom had no curtains or shades to close. All in all a nice place in a quiet spot in the beautiful Adirondack Park .

Experience Left Us Feeling Dismayed

Our stay at this home wasn’t what we hoped for. The house was quaint, but neighbors were close with no privacy, as their windows looked right in. The water isn’t drinkable, so bring your own. We noticed ants and hair in the tub/sink, but overall it was clean. Our experience with the host was surprising. We’ve stayed at many rentals and never had issues.The host initially told us no problem to check-in at 2:30pm, but on our arrival said, "check-in isn't until after 5pm and you didn't contact me." We were polite in our replies, but only after I showed her the previous text were we allowed in. After we left, things got worse. Our card was charged extra and we received a rude message about not recycling and leaving garbage outside in the garbage pail. This was confusing because we had followed all her instructions: cleaning, stripping sheets, etc as well as paid various cleaning fees in advance. I explained we did recycle and took out the trash, but instead of understanding, as she said our toddlers accidentally tossed a few water bottles in with the trash unbeknownst to us (no recycling bin in the house), she then proceeded to say she could charge us even more for leaving crumbs in the toaster and accusing us of breaking a handle/lamp knob, which were already broken when we arrived. We left the house clean and treated it with the utmost respect, even taking off our shoes. We were always kind and polite, which makes the host’s accusations and added charges more disappointing.

Very cozy house

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cabin nestled near many lakes. The hours was very clean and comfy. Lots of supplies for cooking a few meals and the fire pit outside was fun in the evening.

Cozy Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed and more. The location is great for boating and hiking. The public boat launch is an easy and scenic drive from the cottage. We loved exploring the channels in our Kayak (right off the launch site). The Hiking trails to Kane Mountain Fire Tower are close by (trail head on Green Lake Road). We rented a canoe at the Canada Lake Store and paddled to Green Lake (under the bridge) and to Stoner Island. An easy two hour paddle but great fun as we saw a Loon and explored the island which was beautiful! Pine Lake and Caroga Lake are also fun places to go for fishing and swimming. At the end of each day we returned to the cottage and had a relaxing and quiet evening. (Very quiet area) We prepared our meals there and ate several times on the screened porch which was especially relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything including very cute cottagy dishes and bowls, etc. The Canada Lake Store is conveniently located to everything and has great food and deli. We recommend staying at this location.

Charming and clean cottage.

The cottage was small but a perfect size for us and our adult children. There was ample sleeping space and it was so well stocked with everything we needed for preparing family meals. The neighbors were a little closer than I thought they would be, but everyone was quiet and respectful of each other. It was a great location for hiking with lots of trails in the area.

The cottage was fantastic . We loved it.

This cottage was great. The kitchen was fully stocked to the max. Fireplace for chilly mornings and ceiling fans if it got warm. We had a great time at Canada Lake/ Caroga Lake. Rented a pontoon boat at the Canada Lake Store for a great day on the lake We highly recomend this rental . Very nice place

Getaway to Lakes in Adirondacks for Kayaking and Hiking

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice and quiet getaway property. The home is very nice, clean and spacious. There's a lovely screened porch area in the front to listen to the sounds of nature in the morning and the rain at night. If you have a good arm, the house is a stone's throw away from Canada Lake, but you're not staying directly on Canada Lake. There is a lovely grill, chairs and lighting in the backyard. You are close to everything and have many options for outdoor activities. We hiked up Kane Mountain to get the lay of the land, and then took a 4-mile hike through the woods to secluded Indian Lake. It was incredible! There is swimming and boat rentals available nearby in Caroga Lake and elsewhere as well. Our stay was short, last minute and relaxing. The house is spacious with three bedrooms and a large living room area, and it is well-kept. We have many wonderful memories and photos and look forward to our return to the #ADK.

Wonderful cottage for a long weekend

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children ages 4-10) had a wonderful time in this cottage over a long weekend. Everything was clean, the kitchen was so well appointed that we cooked all of our meals there, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. We were close to hiking and swimming, which suited us well. Thanks for a great stay!

We bought this adorable cabin to enjoy the beautiful Adirondacks. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind and we would love to share it with you! Canada Lake is simply relaxing! There are so many hiking trails, fishing, golf, boating, kayaking, and biking opportunities right in your backyard. Granny's has the best ice cream around this area! There is a brand new mountain bike trail across Rt 29 and the summer concert series is back for 2023.

Close to all the great restaurants. golf course, Kane Mountain and of course the lakes! The speed limit is 25 mph so you can jog, bike or walk and enjoy the beautiful lake views. Grab a fishing license and fish away!
