Este encantador riad con un ambiente tradicional le seducirá con su tranquilidad y comodidad; desde el patio hasta el refrescante lavabo / fuente de zellige esmeralda hasta la gran terraza acogedora. También hay 3 cómodas habitaciones equipadas con aseo, baño y aire acondicionado para cada uno. En el salón de la planta baja, junto a la chimenea, tendrá un televisor de pantalla plana, equipo de música y una conexión wifi. La cocina está totalmente equipada con equipos y platos. También encontrará a su disposición una lavadora, secador de pelo ...
Este Riad está alquilado en su totalidad. Se sentirá como en casa en la intimidad. Hay 's no hay personal permanente. Podrá administrar fácilmente su autonomía y sus suministros con las empresas que están contiguas a la casa (supermercado, panadería ... unos pocos metros)
Fati, nuestra ama de llaves, está presente solo todas las mañanas para preparar los desayunos (incluidos en el precio) y quedarse en casa para reordenar las salas comunes para garantizar la comodidad de su estancia (incluida en la tarifa).
Si desea que se trate además de una reorganización de las habitaciones, le dejamos el cuidado para estar de acuerdo con ello. Los desayunos se sirven a su conveniencia a partir de las 8:00 a.m.

El traslado al aeropuerto se ofrece por 150 dirhams por trayecto, 200 dirhams después de las 22h y antes de las 6h. En este caso, lo esperará a la salida de la aduana, nuestro conductor Mohamed o uno de sus corresponsales, quien presentará un letrero a su nombre.

Si lo solicita, puede preparar una cena tradicional marroquí con entrante / plato principal / postre (150 dirhams por persona).

Lovely riad, great location

The riad was perfect for our group of friends. The a/c kept bedrooms and salon cool during very hot (110+ F) days and nights. Riad very close to some outstanding restaurants and pleasant souks. Bechir was very attentive to our needs and all went smoothly.

A luxury start to our Moroccan holiday

The property is superb, luxurious, spacious, private, and in the heart of the Medina. It was booked for our group of adult and three teenage children. Each room was comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and the and felt private and secure at all times. Bachir, a wonderful host, helped us with advice on many things and brought a delicious breakfast each day to get us ready for Marrakech. Huge thanks to him, a truly kind man. Overall , the break met and exceeded our expectations and we had a superb start to the holiday 😍and genamongst men

Marrakech Dreams

Fabulous stay right on the edge of the medina so experienced the culture of Morocco first hand. Bachir was on hand every morning to provide breakfast and advice. Abdou took us to Ourika valley and camel rides in Palmeria. Overall I cannot fault this stay - highly recommended and thank-you from me and my family. Walking distance to the marketplace

We visited this riad during covid times and loved that it was a small riad which allowed us to make it a private rental for the entire unit. Every evening I contacted the owner with any questions I had and they were always available to answer. The property uses a driver who was always available via WhatsApp and provided driving locally at affordable prices without the need of looking for a cab. The cook made a delicious breakfast. She does not speak English but that was easily resolved with our limited French and google translate. The cook is also available for dinners for an additional fee. This was very helpful as restaurants would close at 8pm during the covid curfew. There is a pool at the property but it is a soaking pool. The location is walking distance from the marketplace. Be careful of locals that may come over to you inviting you to come see the market of colors or the market of spices. They take you simply to one of the little shops who charge the highest prices in the market even after you bargain. The dar bacha cafe is located at the entrance to the community as well as some government office with lots of military and police. We never needed assistance from police but if we had they would’ve been less than a two minute walk from the riad. The dar Bacha café is also a great landmark to offer tour guides who may be meeting you for any excursions. There is a laundry washer on property but like most European properties clothes is hung to dry. There is a stove top but no oven. This allows you to still make many meals but plan your grocery shopping knowing that you cannot bake any items. There is a lovely terrace on the roof. During warm months you can sunbathe up there on the chaise loungers or you can have a meal up there any time of year. I loved the privacy, safety, and conveniences of this property and would visit again in the future. We stayed there as a family with 15, 17, and 20 year old children and found that there was more than enough room throughout the property for all of us.

Great Time in Marrakesh

Well it was the best choice we could have possibly done. Very central located, yet no noice or through traffic. Walking distance to anywhere. The place is clean, well organized and well equipped including AC wich you want in Marrakesh. Very charming design. You feel home in minutes. We stayed with 5 and it was very comfortable with 3 sleeping rooms all with their own bathroom. The transport from the airport and back to the airport with 5 people and 7 pieces suitcases was handled smooth and professional by the Abdel - a great guy to work with. The house manager Bachir is very professional, charming and helpful. All smooth and comfortable. Next time in Marrakesh? Same please of course. Best regards from Norbert and family USA

Très joli riad, à l'entrée de la médina dans une ruelle très calme et sure. Située à côté de la boulangerie et de tout les commerces de la médina le riad est super bien placée! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et la communication avec Valérie était très fluide.

Superbe séjour dans un Riad magnifique, adossé à un acceuil compétent

Nous sommes restés une semaine à 6 adultes et avons tous été enchantés de notre séjour. Le Riad est très bien placé dans un endroit calme de la médina. Il est parfaitement conforme aux photos présentées sur le site, et offres des prestations de qualité. La taille et les équipements sont parfaits pour six personnes, sans impression de promiscuité. Les relations et assistances fournies par les propriétaires avant, pendant et après le séjour ont toujours été rapide et efficace. L'accueil à l'aéroport et le transfert vers le Riad par Mohamed (le représentant sur place) fut rapide et de qualité. Durant tout le séjour, il a répondu à nos interrogations très rapidement. Enfin une note toute particulière pour Fatima, qui nous a préparé tous les matins des petits déjeunés copieux, savoureux, et variés. nous lui avons également demandé de nous faire 2 diners, réellement excellents. Le tout fait avec une gentillesse, une prévenance et un souci de nous satisfaire qui étaient sincères et naturels. Je recommande vivement cette location

Superb first experience of Marrakech

We have just returned from an amazing stay at Riad 'Dar Jawd'. It is a beautifully appointed property and very comfortable. The pictures show the quality of the finish, but it is far more spacious than it appears. However lovely the accommodation, it is the people who contribute so much to the enjoyment of a holiday. Hasan, the housekeeper, gave us such a warm welcome with Moroccan mint tea and pastries when we arrived very late in the evening. He had prepared a traditional tagine with accompaniments as we had requested a meal due to the hour of our arrival, and he provided a delicious fresh breakfast for us each morning with Moroccan specialities. Hasan was charming, helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Mohamed drove us from the airport, arranging for our baggage to be taken via trolley to the door of the Riad as no cars can enter the narrow streets in the immediate area. He is a delightful person and incredibly helpful. On our last day he took us on an incredible trip up to the Atlas Mountains, organising a Berber guide called Abdel who led us on a trek up to the waterfalls and then took us to have a traditional couscous lunch at his family home in a small village on the mountain-side. This was a very special experience, at a very reasonable price. Other highlights of our trip included walking for miles through the narrow streets of the Medina soaking up the atmosphere of the souks and the Kasbah, visiting the Place Jemaa el-Fnaa at night, walking through the cool and colourful Majorelle Garden, and experiencing a Moroccan hammam. We also treated ourselves to early evening cocktails at the splendid La Mamounia hotel, with its sumptuous interior and beautiful gardens. Marrakech is an exciting and vibrant city with much to offer, the people are friendly and helpful, and it feels very safe (if you manage to avoid getting hit by one of the many mopeds that zip through the souks at quite a pace!). Riad ‘Dar Jawd’ is the perfect base – a huge thank you to JacquesPierre and Valerie.

Very nice riad in the medina of Marrakesh

A surprisingly nice riad in the medina of Marrakesh. This riad is tucked away in a small backstreet and the entrance door is very low. But when you enter the property a very nice, spacious and quite home is awaiting for you. All the things you need are very close to the riad at walking distance. We arrived in the evening and Saida prepared a tasteful dinner for us as we requested before. Communication with the owners is perfect and they are very responsive, a small issue we had was quickly resolved. One small side comment, don't expect the levels of cleanliness as you might expect at home, but this not concerning. We had a very pleasant stay in Marrakesh however be aware that if you walk down the medina that scooters are driving fast and very close to you in what should be actually a walking area.

Great owners, excellent staff and perfect location

Our family of five stayed in Dar Jawd for one week and it was perfect. All of our communications with Valérie and Jaquespierre were very pleasant and the speed at which they responded to our inquiries was virtually instantaneous. They seemed genuinely concerned with our enjoyment of the property. Saïda the housekeeper was fantastic. Her breakfasts were huge and varied and her mint tea the best in Morocco! We enjoyed talking to her about all our adventures in the Medina every morning. As for the house it was an oasis of of calm at the edge of the vibrant Medina. The rooms were very large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We did two excursions with Mohammad Mali, the driver. A very nice man, very knowledgable and his vehicle was a very comfortable SUV. We strongly recommend this property.. Merci Valerie et Jaquespierre

Spacious Gem in Great Location!

Beautiful, clean and spacious Riad located just off a main route into the Medina. Safe neighborhood. Extremely quiet and secure inside the Riad. Our driver, Mohamed, was gracious, kind and very attentive (also, of course, a great driver). He will take you to all city sites and on excursions to the Atlas Mountains for a very fair price. He is not a guide, but he is knowledgeable. Saida is the Riad cook and cleaner who comes in the morning to prepare a full breakfast: eggs, fresh squeezed OJ, various breads, yogurt and quality coffee. She clears and cleans up, makes the beds, and then leaves until the next day. She is adorable and very sweet. The photos don't convey the spaciousness of the three levels. Ground floor has a double bedroom and full bathroom with air conditioning, kitchen, comfortable sitting room and cooling pool for soaking tired feet after a full day of exploring. The second level has two master suites, one is slightly larger than the other but both are spacious and both have full baths (sink area, shower and toilet). Both bedrooms also have their own high quality LG air conditioning units that work well. The second level has a large corner table and sitting area where we spent most of our time talking, reading and of course checking our e-mail (sadly). The internet is very good. Like all Riads, the "roof" is open and allows in plenty of light and air, so you don't feel at all shut-in or claustrophobic. The third level is the terrace and most impressive. Again, like the other levels, the spaciousness is notable. We have stayed in other Riads that purport to have nice terraces, but are cramped and uncomfortable. This terrace has two distinct areas, both covered. One is a large sitting area which can accommodate probably 8 people and the other area is dining table with the same space. Between the two areas and the connecting open terrace, the rooftop could easily host a small cocktail party of 30 people, but of course that would be against house rules. :) Highly recommend. Fabulous riad. Just as pictures indicate.

I spent a week here with 2 friends. The riad is conveniently located in the market - about half a block from the entrance (there are "cart guys" to help you get your luggage the half block). The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Saida is there every morning to fix a great breakfast - but beware of the bread, it it quite addictive. She is friendly and very helpful. Being from Texas we had questioned the effectiveness of the air conditioner, but they were more than up to the task. We had unusually cool weather for late April so didn't use the pool, but it is beautiful. The terrace is where we spent most of our time. There are lounge chairs in the open, a covered seating area and a covered dining area. Just beautiful and very conducive to late afternoon and evening socializing. There is a washing machine which we found very helpful. There was one small issue the day we arrived. I emailed the owners and got a very prompt response and solution. They are very friendly and helpful. Great riad. I would highly recommend it to others. One suggestion: get the address of the riad before you go. You need that for custom forms entering and exiting the country. I didn't have it (just put Riad Dar Jawd on the form) but had a copy of the VRBO material i had printed off and the custom officials accepted it. But it would have gone easier and quicker if I'd had a physical address to put on the form.

Fabulous riad.

Two friends and I stayed at this lovely riad for a week. The pictures are accurate - it is beautiful and very comfortable. Saida was there every morning to fix us a great Breakfast (the bread is wonderful - deadly to your waistline). The riad is perfectly located on the edge of the market. Ten steps outside your door and you are in the market. Some of our friends were a bit worried about our safety. I never ONCE felt threatened in the market or on the street. That said, Security is on top of things. They walked us to our door every night. The riad is A short walk from where you leave the taxi. The terrace is where we spent most every evening. Being from Texas we were a bit concerned about the air conditioning - but it is fabulous. The pool is beautiful but a bit too cool for us in late April - we had uncommonly cool weather for this time of year. But we are not complaining about that at all. Mohammed took us to the mountains one day and to/from the airport and DHL (we did our part in supporting the local economy). Valerie and Jacquespierre are a pleasure to work with. We had one small issue. I sent them an email. They responded in 20 minutes and had the problem solved at once. This is a great choice for a place to stay in Marrakech.

Great Stay

Riad Dar Jawd was just what we needed. The four of us were looking for a week of exploration and relaxation and the location in the Medina was perfect for exploring the hustle and bustle of Marrakech but then close the door of the Riad and it was a haven of peace with its sun terrace and plunge pool in the shady courtyard. Saida made us a lovely breakfast every morning and prepared a tasty tagine dinner for us on the terrace one evening. Mohammed was also very helpful as the driver and took us on a tour to the Atlas at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for cocktails, beer or wine then we recommend Cafe Arabe just around the corner from the Riad. Really good first time in Morocco, thank you.

Aufenthalt in Marakech

Unsere Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Wir werden auf alle Fälle nochmal dort Urlaub verbringen. Alles ist prima gelaufen. Service in der Villa sowie Sicherheit und vor allem die Freundlichkeit der Menschen In der Medina sind Gründe genug die Villa weiter zu empfehlen.

Un petit palais rien que pour nous

Nous avons passés ma femme et moi 10 jours de rêves dans ce superbe riad. Très bien accueillis dès l'aéroport par Mohamed notre chauffeur avec qui par la suite nous avons fait de belles excursions. Toujours présent pour nous au moindre problème. Très respectueux du client et de son bien être. Sa compagnie fut très agréable. Très bien accueillis également par Saida la gouvernante qui nous a accompagner jusqu'au riad et nous a mis très vite à l'aise. Elle s'est occuper de nous préparer chaque matin de très bon petits déjeuners typiquement marocains. A notre demande elle nous a préparer deux repas du soir également très bon. Le sérieux et le dévouement de Jacques-Pierre et de Valérie vis à vis de leurs hôtes est fort agréable. Même à distance ils ont su prendre soin de nous, nous mettre à l'aise et en confiance. Présents pour le moindre problème, encore merci à eux.. Le Riad en lui même nous a vraiment plu. Nous y avons passé de très bon moments. J'ai pu profiter également du bassin de rafraichissement au rez de chaussée, ma femme qu'en à elle n'a pu car a trouver l'eau trop froide. Au final QUE DU BON prêts à y retourner. La gentillesse des marocains reste pour nous quelque chose d'inoubliable.

Très très contents de notre séjour

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour au riad (dont les photos figurant sur le site sont identiques à la réalité). Nous avons tout particulièrement appréciés les échanges avant, pendant et après séjour avec Jacques Pierre et Valérie ainsi que l'accueil réservé par Hassan. Un grand merci à tous les 3 pour leur gentillesse. Nous recommandons vivement cette merveilleuse adresse :-)

Wirklich schönes Riad

Das Riad war genau so, wie wir es erhofft haben! Tolle Lage, stilvoll eingerichtet, sauber und ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort. Hausverwalter Hassan sehr nett und hatte gute Empfehlungen für uns. Wir kommen wieder :-)

Un Riad d'exception

Grâce à la gentillesse de Jacques Pierre et de Valérie, nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de ce Riad. Le Riad est très bien situé (boulangerie, épicerie, petits commerces à proximité), et le quartier est très sécurisé. La décoration est de très bon goût, et chaque chambre est indépendante. Vous vous y sentirez comme chez vous! Nous avons également profité de la superbe terrasse pour prendre des couleurs :) Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir l'an prochain à la même période. Un havre de paix au cœur de la Médina

Ryad idéalement situé au cœur de la Medina. A deux pas de la place jama al fnaa et de beaucoup d'autre monument . Les rues sont sécurisées ce qui permet de profiter des beautés de la ville jusque tard le soir . Enfin, le Ryad étant individualisé, il représente une solution ideale pour les famille souhaitant passer du temps ensemble . Le Ryad en lui même offre tout le confort et est agréablement décoré vous faisant plonger tout de suite dans les décors de la ville
