Sete Léguas Country House Alentejo For 2

Monte das Buganvílias is located in the heart of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, in a quiet and peaceful countryside setting, close to beautiful beaches, all just a few minutes away by car.

Hidden in the garden, Sete Léguas House is a small and comfortable cottage, ideal for a calm and restful stay.

The house has:

One bedroom with a double bed, with space for a baby cot
One bathroom
Living room with kitchenette in open space
Private terrace with outdoor table and grill
Private garden area around the house

Sheltered from the sea winds by the garden, the house is perfect for two adults, with space for one baby.

Life here is surrounded by flowers, trees and birds.
You may see pigeons, blackbirds, sparrows and sometimes storks flying slowly towards the cliffs.
At night the sky is full of stars, and in the distance you can often hear the sea.
Don’t forget your binoculars.

Meals can be enjoyed inside the house or outside on the terrace, under the shade of the old bougainvillea.

Food & Shopping

Only 10 minutes by car:

Zambujeira do Mar village, with restaurants, bakery and local market
Fresh fish and vegetables at the morning market
Intermarché supermarket in São Teotónio

In season, we also share vegetables and herbs from our garden.

A car is recommended, as the property is located in a rural area inside the Natural Park.

The Quinta

Monte das Buganvílias has three independent houses, each with its own private garden and terrace.

Privacy is created by the large garden, trees and flower beds, while keeping the peaceful and familiar atmosphere of the property.

Each house has its own entrance, terrace with grill, and private outdoor space.

This is a place for those who enjoy nature, silence, starry skies and simple living.

We live on the property and are available if needed, always respecting guests’ privacy.

Because we are in a rural area inside the Natural Park, the Wi-Fi connection may be slower than in the city.
Here life moves at a different rhythm.
It is a good place to disconnect, read a book, watch the sky full of stars, listen to the birds, or simply enjoy the silence and nature around you.

House Rules:

Please take care of the house as if it were your own.

We separate organic waste to fertilize the garden.
Plastic and packaging should be placed in the recycling containers on the way to the beach.

Laundry area available in the garden.

Frequent visits from non-guests are not allowed.

After 22:00 please keep quiet outside.

Cleaning during the stay is the responsibility of the guests.

We live on the property and are available if needed.

Pet friendly

Pets are welcome, but:

Owners must take care of them
Pets cannot be left alone in the house
Excessive barking is not allowed
Visits from friends are not allowed

We want to keep the peaceful atmosphere of the Quinta.
