The condo was very nice. I enjoyed watching the sun come up from the balcony each morning. The inside was neat and clean. The bed was super comfy. The kids enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. And the beach was right there!

Our stay at “Shorely Anchored” was wonderful! Josh and Brittany were great to communicate with. The property was clean and in excellent condition, and everything was as described in the listing. We really appreciated the ease of check-in/check-out and the resort staff were very helpful and kind!

Amazing Views!

Property has amazing views. The condo is well stocked with everything you might need. There are extra beach chairs, an elevator, and tons of amenities. Close to good restaurants. Beach has easy access. Host was responsive and communicated well. I would highly recommend this place.

Little glitch as cleaning had locked a bedroom door... new cleaning staff.Place was quaint and the view was amazing!Super close to elevators which made check-in and out so much easier.

Wonderful stay! Great location, just steps away from the outdoor pool and the beach access. Wonderful balcony views and full of amenities! We had a small issue at check in but our hosts resolved it quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we felt like we were at home and welcomed. There is nothing more important to me than great customer service and this host excells at it! We also appreciated having extra dish washer detergent tabs, extra toilet tissue and extra trash bags as these things go quickly with our large family. We stay at A Place at the Beach often and this is not a luxury other units have offered. There were also some "creature comforts" like a crock pot, a coffee machine and other kitchen appliances to meet your needs. Highly recommend this unit and booking with these hosts!

Quiet Beach Side Escape

The condo was everything we needed for our Spring Break trip. We enjoyed our ocean view and access to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area was quiet this time of year. We enjoyed walks along the Ft Macon beach and near by excursions to Cape Lookout and other seaside nature reserves. The amenities on property we fun for our kids.

Just a couple small mishaps.

Overall, a great place, but the blind needs repaired in the MBR as we had to place a throw over the window to keep the light out (pretty full moon) and the MBA toilet might need some attention (very hard to push down handle). New door lock took a few tries to get to open/close. Loved the view, location and close handicap parking to this unit.

Responsive Host

We had a wonderful time at Shorely Anchored. The third floor condo had an ocean front view and there was enough room for me, husband, mom and two young children-since we are a close family and all get along well. This unit is in the building that is closest to the outdoor hot tub. Our keurig was broken when we arrived but we let our host know and he had a brand new one delivered to us! We really appreciated this as there is nothing like waking up to have coffee on the balcony in the morning. Other details we liked was the HUGE tv in the livingroom and king sized bed.

Amazing getaway!

Wonderful little condo right on the beach. Perfect for a girls trip getaway. Condo was very clean, well stocked with all the basic essentials, and lots of property amenities. The property manger was very ease to get ahold of when we had a question and got everything answered very quickly. I would definitely stay there again!

All about the view and amenities!

We've stayed at many rentals, and this is the first one that didn’t have any bells or whistles BUT it has been by far the most affordable place we've found right on the beach. This place was really small compared to other places we've stayed, but our family of 4 (2 kids 5 and 9) had enough space. This is not the place if you want a lot of room or love to cook since the kitchen is small. Also, be prepared to bring extra things with you if you are staying for more than a weekend--things like toilet paper, paper towels, any and all seasoning you need for cooking, etc. The welcome packet we got a couple of weeks out detailed what would be available, and we really appreciated that and were able to bring a lot of what we needed with us. We also neglected to realize that laundry was not available in the condo until we got the welcome packet, but the building had decent washers and dryers with an app system that made it really easy to pay. The resort amenities were wonderful. We spent a lot of time at the pools! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. The pictures are very accurate, and as someone who looks for our vacation rental for months at a time each year, I can pretty much guarantee that anywhere else with an oceanfront view and wonderful amenities is going to run you way more money than this. It's totally worth the price for the view, amenities, and proximity to the beach alone!

Anniversary trip

The complex is large with a lot of extra amenities. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The ocean view was nice. Great pool area! We will definitely stay again.

Apartment - excellent; resort - in need of upgrading

We really felt totally comfortable in the apartment; and we rate this quite high by comparison with homes and apartments we have rented in close to 70 different countries in the world to this point in our near 90 years of travel. However! We do feel that the management need considerably greater effort in dealing with prospective issues in mobility about the property. I.e wife had a fall that broke her lower right arm. An unexpected rise in the stairway as it meets the upper path caused the fall of a beginning one hour run into the Macon State park.

We love the view, custom updates and large beaches. The complex has so much to offer - pool, tennis, basketball, and more. It's a great getaway for fun-in-the-sun! Josh grew up going to A Place at the Beach, so it holds special memories.
