Great girls stay

Enjoyed this lovely home in La Quinta. We have a home in Palm Desert that was flooded so our annual June trip needed to be relocated. This was a wonderful home with everything we needed for a fabulous trip.

Very nice well-equipped home. Our group of four senior couples look annually for an escape week to relax and catch up socially. This home fit our group dynamic perfectly. We booked originally for five couples; the home easily accommodates five couples with king/queen beds and individual bathrooms. It is difficult to find a one level home with amenities such as Monroe. Family Golf Trip

Wish we stayed longer

The house was perfect for our family reunion. There was lots of room for the 12 of us and the location was beautiful with the golf course right in the backyard and the mountains in the background.

Holiday weekend

The home was great....we had ample space & bedrooms. The backyard view was beautiful and our grandkids enjoyed the pool/spa. At he last minute we requested an early check-in and AvantStay was able to accommodate.

Pool party

We enjoyed every min with friends and family in the pool from sun up to sun down. Clean spacious house with a few minor issues that were quickly addressed by property management. We would love to stay here again next year!

Couples Golf Group

We are a group of friends who enjoyed to proximity to the golf courses, grocery store, liquor store and Costco. After a day of golf we like to have happy hour and cooking dinner for ourselves. We also went to the polo match on Sunday. The location was excellent for all we did.

Roomy, fun house

This is a roomy house with fun things to do - pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, ping pong. It seems to be geared toward a younger group that mostly wants a large house convenient to the music festivals in Coachella.

Beautiful spot for a family vacation

Loved our stay in this spacious home with a beautiful backyard and pool area. Stunning mountain views. Only issue was Avantstay folks took too long to respond each time we reached out. 12+ hours with a beeping smoke alarm was far too long.

First Cousins Reunion

Our party consisted of 80 year old, 70 years old and 60 year old first cousins who haven’t been together in years! Upon arrival everyone was impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the home and how inviting the pool was! The sunsets were magnificent! I heard no complaints about anything! Everyone loved the place! We loved the Old Town LaQuinta and enjoyed a recommended restaurant by your team, TQLAS it was delicious and accommodating as we had a crowd! Thank you for making our little reunion one for the books and we are looking forward to doing it again!

Huge house with great amenities

Overall this was a wonderful house for two families on spring break! It was clean and kitchen was one of the best rental set ups I’ve ever seen - so many dishes, pans, silverware, utensils- very easy to cook for a crowd! Yard and pool were awesome and the house layout easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 elementary kids. Ping pong table and shuffle board were super fun to have and neighborhood is great for walks. Our only complaints were being blindsided by astronomical cost for heating the pool during our stay - we really had no choice as the pool was a major factor in why we rented the house, so we paid the fee and it was a great temperature, but the way in which we learned the pool would not be heated during the check in process was disappointing and a bit of gut punch in terms of the extra cost of an already very expensive rental. The property management company did a good job with communication, but when I tried to use the service they kept pushing for the local guides/ concierge type service if we needed something, I never got a response. It would have been nice to know when landscapers and pool guy were coming during the stay as people just randomly showed up in the yard - a little disconcerting when you have little kids around.

Excellent séjour.

Très belle et grande propriété dans un tres jolie secteur. AvantStay ont été d’un excellent support pour nous fournir quelques item de base, linge de table, verres a vin…) Notez qu’absolument aucun produit alimentaire de base ( sucre, huile, vinaigre…) n’est fournit dans la maison, contrairement a d’autre maison que nous avons loué dans le passé. Tres Belle vu sur les montagne et coucher de soleil. Je recommande.

Perfect location

This is a wonderful place to stay for a large group. The mountain/ golf course view is gorgeous and the backyard is a perfect set up- lot of shade, sun for those who want it, so much space to relax and eat, and the entire house is spacious and clean. The only thing not great was the cleaning crew was just leaving at 5:05pm when we got there - If we had come at 4pm expecting to get in that would have been frustrating. Overall a 10 and we would book again 👍🏻

Great place to stay

We stayed here for our annual golf trip. You can not ask for a better place to be. The house is amazing and the pool is beautiful. The management company made the process as easy as I have ever had with VRBO. Highly recommend!

In the ad pictures this property looks great. However, it is run down and needs a major update.

We rented this home for 7 weeks, a lot of money, and after a long drive we were excited to get all settled in. Walked into the master bedroom with our suitcases and looked around for our dresser. There wasn’t one. In fact there are none in the whole house. No place to put 7 weeks of clothing? One “bedroom” doesn’t even have a closet, so it really isn’t a valid 5 bedroom as advertised. Everything is worn out and needs serious updating. We have made a list of the pros and cons and you can make up your mind about staying here. Pros: Hot water is great. Beds are comfy but sheets don’t fit. Pool was nice. And the view out the back was nice. Pretty much it. Cons: no tv’s in the bedrooms except master. Casita has a bed but nothing else usually in a casita. Cracked and chipped travertine throughout the home. Old fridge. Ice maker freezes all the cubes together. Ice dispenser is broken. Lots of tv wires but nothing was hooked up. I had to figure out which wires to hook up in order to get tv service. Thermostat in main living area doesn’t work. Other one was set at 73 and wouldn’t go lower. We called and AvantStay remotely lowered it to 69 but would not go lower. Yet we were charged a huge amount for 7 weeks of utilities. Blinds by kitchen table broken. Hot afternoon sun blasts that area. Paint.marks on the walls. Semi-gloss touch up on flat. One garage door opener didn’t work. No cleaning supplies. We had to go buy some. Everything is old and run down. Needs a lot of attention. Stains everywhere; carpet, couch, rugs…all old. Old light switches and a few light switches broken. Cockroaches in the house. Found four live ones in the house and a few just outside. Also had ants in master bath. Had to buy ant and roach spray. No fans in any room in the house. Hot afternoon sun warms it up but no fans and owner controlled thermostat. Bottom line, the owner of this house apparently does not take any pride in how his home looks. We paid A LOT for 7 weeks…maybe worth a few k just because of the view and location. We were extremely disappointed in this property. We had several guests come stay with us during our time there and we were embarrassed about the condition of the home. We would not stay in this cockroach invested and run down property again, even if it was free. Before you rent this property, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. AvantStay did as much as they possibly could to make our stay better. They were great!

Great spot

The Avantstay team made everything seamless and amazing! It was the perfect space for our group celebrating a 30th birthday! The kitchen had everything needed as far as dishware and seasonings. But remember to ask for the pool to be heated ahead of time. We paid the fee and got it heated when we arrived on Thursday and it still wasn’t warm enough to use by Saturday or Sunday morning. Other than that it was perfect!
