Thank you for your feedback. We do rate high with guests and receive terrific scores for cleanliness. But, I take all guests feedback seriously and have reviewed your comments with the clean team. The detailed cleaning standards have been updated and all cleanliness issues you identified were addressed. Also, Sorry about the check in mixup. We do send a detailed self-check in package and provide the access codes on the system. We will look at ways to proactively follow-up with guests to be sure those instructions are received. Regarding the pool spa, while it is clearly described in the listing as a jetted pool spa using same water as the pool, not a hot tub. We have seen several guests make the same assumption. GOOD NEWS, for benefit of all guests we made a decision about a month ago to purchase a second standalone hot tub. We expect delivery soon and will update the web site once it is installed and operational. We really want our guests to be delighted! and will continue to work hard to make each guests experience amazing.

I am glad you enjoyed the home and pool and pizza oven. It is a terrific property and guests all share wonderful stories of their experiences. I am sorry you feel so passionate about the incident with the apartment. I would like to share a little more about the situation and also our new policy. First, I truly enjoy being a host. My goal is to delight my guests. Sometimes being a host can be hard. In fairness, The apartment is disclosed on the listing. The apt does not share facilities and the apt does not have access or visibility to the backyard/ pool area. You have 100% privacy. The Apt was rented for one night, your last night to a couple that was taking over the entire property the following day. When you became upset, I offered to refund them or pay for a hotel for the couple; but they respectfully requested to stay in the Apt as they want to be there to be to prepare for their entire group coming in the following day. I can't deny that logic, So of course I respected their wishes. They assured me they were quiet and respectful and there were no problems at all. While we believe the apt is a separate unit and the main house is quite private we do not want our guests to be less than 100% delighted. So we made a decision a while back to only rent the Apt to guests. This was the only time we booked the Apt and your feedback tells me the decision to make this policy change was a good one. I did apologize and I did my very best to make your stay amazing. I can see in your review that you did have a wonderful time and you did enjoy the home and the pool and the pizza oven... I am delighted to hear that. My best to you, john
