My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time. The house is in a great location. Along with seeing deers, we saw live turkeys, and rabbits which we excited to see. Veey peaceful.

This was incredible! The house is gorgeous, well stocked, comfy and has a lot of things to do with the kids! The hosts are so kind, communicative and generous! We will be going back! Unbelievable weekend, the horseback riding was so sweet and the hiking trails and fishing were phenomenal! Best hosts ever!!!!!!!!!

Lots of potential

There is so much to do at this house! We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and ping pong table, propane firepit, darts, and several tv’s! The property is well on its way to being remodeled- the granite countertops and new appliances in the kitchen are lovely. However, there are still things holding it back from being a 5 star stay. We were disappointed to see holes in the wall covered with duct tape, peeling paint, broken or missing screens, and severe rust stains in the bathtub. It reminded me of a frat house, complete with a nerf basketball hoop in the living room. A little upkeep and a woman’s touch would do wonders for this house. The host was very gracious and we still had a great time.

Fun New Years

My family and our family friends stayed with us at this property. We loved the hot tub, the game room, the large living room, the dining room and the deck/grill. It did not seem the cleanest, which was a bit of a bummer since we were charged almost 1000 more on top of the daily rate for cleaning/various charges. Those additional charges did not seem reasonable for what we walked in to, but in general, it was a nice place for a group of people looking to hang out and have fun.

Great Stay

Well described- attentive owner - peaceful. Local hiking on Delaware water gap trails. Fireplace and fire pit was great Nice easy hot tub. Dogs had plenty of fun! Well done.

Pocono getaway

We took advantage of a 4-day weekend and took a family vacation to the Pocono mountains - and, we are very happy that we chose this location and this house! Communication with the owner was great from start to finish, and our expectations were met and exceeded! We were looking for a rental house "close to nature" - which this is. And, we wanted a place near Bushkill Falls - another plus! Added bonuses for our family were the hot tub (!), the ability to travel with our 2 pups, the pool table and dart board, and the fireplace. Many new fun family memories were made during our stay! :) A note for travelers who may have physical limitations - there are many steps (inside and out). This may cause difficulty for anyone with knee/hip problems, etc. No fault of the owner or property, but this may cause problems for some. Thank you to Phil for being such a warm, accommodating host - we look forward to our next stay!

Nice set up

It was only my bf with me but next time I’d be sure to bring the kids and possibly even the dogs. The host was very nice and accommodating, the house was perfect for a fun get away.

Worth every penny and then some

Couldnt have been happier with the property and host, or more sad to leave. The pictures on this listing are beautiful and still do not do it justice. Our host Philip went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that was needed and then some including recommendations for restaurants, kayaking, hiking and anything else worthwhile in the area. The communication was superb. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful in a way words cant complain, secluded enough for privacy but not so much that there arent an abundance of activities to do in the nearby area. If you are looking for a vacation that is perfect for activities outdoors or just a beautiful home to relax in the woods i couldnt recommend any property ive stayed at more. Cannot to come back.

A comfortable vacation stay

The house in the woods getaway perfect for families and friends. Remotely set in the woods, the house has enough amenities to have kept us entertained on the rainy days and the area is a wonderland to explore when the weather cleared.

Fun secluded home

This home provided all we needed to have a great family weekend. The kitchen and large family/dining room provided hours of eating and playing games together. We cooked on the grill, enjoyed the basement pool table and darts and loved the hot tub. The community pool and basketball courts were a teen favorite. Since we visited in the summer, it was expected that there was air conditioning but there were only a few window units. The bunk bedroom was HOT; there was no air flow there at all. Just be aware. The community although lovely, it secluded and FAR from anything. Any store ur restaurant is 30 min or more. We mostly stayed in the house and enjoyed it all. Bushkill Falks was very pretty.

Great place

Beautiful location and the host Phil was great. Even though it rained every day we were there, kids still had a great time in the cabin. Game room in the basement and the hot tub was really nice. Close to Bushkill, Dingman, and Raymondskill falls. Highly recommend!

Private Mountain House backed up to woods

This house covered all the must haves! Comfortable beds, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen to cook in, plenty of games and entertainment options for the kids. I could go on and on. The owner was so nice and super responsive. The house backed up to woods and we had a family of deer walk by every morning and night that we could watch from the deck. Super close to some amazing hikes and trails! Really an awesome home. We will be BACK!

This house is totally renovated brand new with all new amenities, It's truly the best house in Bushkill in its class!!! All new quality posturepedic mattresses, 2 great King size heated sled beds, ALL BEDDING, COMFORTERS, MATTRESS PADS ARE LAUNDERED EVERY USE!!! We keep the house extremely clean!!! Open layout kitchen dining room living room, amazing for interacting with all your guests. Game room(8ft Brunswick Manhattan pool table and pig pong top) and bar area open up to the 8 person HOT TUB and patio. Beautiful views on top of the mountain, Brand new bathrooms, to much to list. We vacation and rent homes often and know what we expect in a home, so that is the detail that went into our home and still improving weekly for you to enjoy.
