Justo en la esquina de 8th y North Downing, esta casa está cerca de la ciudad y a una cuadra de la playa. Check-in was seamless. The house was so cute and a very short walk to the beach walking path, which led to the cute downtown main drag. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were comfortable places to gather and relax as a family.The beds were comfortable!

On one hand, it was clean, the kitchen was adequate, and the location was quiet. However, the building is very old, and while updated over the years, its age is apparent. The twin bedrooms are minuscule and dark and the bathrooms are inadequate for handling a medium sized group. (Replace the toilets!) I objected to having dirty, used pillows—I felt they'd been put in the house after being deemed no longer acceptable for the original users. The furnishings consisted mostly of cast-offs, some probably purchased new in the 1950s. Summary: Okay for a short stay

Nice, comfortable and homey

The house is an older one, with lovely early farmhouse style charm. Kitchen was completely updated and had everything one could need (and more). The location was quiet, just blocks from the Prom, and seemed central to most everything. We all said we would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

Comfortable home but unusual rules from the property management company

This home is very comfortable and is literally only one block from the beach and promenade. The property management company has some very dated practices though; collect the keys from the office lockbox, start washing the sheets before you leave, return the keys to the office when you leave. These are all minor inconveniences but in over 10 years of renting properties like this we have only encountered a management company like this during this stay.

responsibility to clean

For such a hefty cleaning fee we were a bit annoyed that we were required to do so much washing/drying before we could leave and when required to check out at 11:00 it made a very tight morning. I rented from VRBO last year and although there was a cleaning fee, we were not required to do the cleaning so if I was to rent again I would definitely check to make sure so much was not required.

We certainly don’t want a stressful check out morning, but think you read more into the checkout procedures than what was asked. We just ask that you please start the laundry. Ideally, that first load is in the dryer and one in the washer. We don’t ask anyone to clean or fold or do anything other than put in the machine and turn them on. We will try to rewrite this so that it’s clearer, but we do not expect anyone to clean anything. Just a leg up on the laundry can help the cleaners complete their clean on time and helps us keep the cleaning fees lower. We can’t hurry the machines. We are sorry if this created any stress but that’s certainly not what we intended.

Nice house close to the beach

Relaxing week staying at a short walk from the ocean. The bathrooms are pretty small but everything else was great including check in/out which was super easy.

Nasty! Not clean!

Carpet was gross and turned my kids’ feet black. Hair was left all over the shower walls. Bath and shower too nasty to even get into. Super outdated, gross and odd. Called multiple times to have no one call us back. Super disappointed!

Spacious House - Bring a fan

This is a older home with plenty of room. Easy/short walk to the beach. The upstairs rooms only had a few windows that opened so, without AC it got very warm. It would have been nice to have fans in all the rooms to help move the air around. Other than that, it worked fine for our family of 4.

Wonderful stay!

We love this house! Close to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great seating. Plenty of room. It was clean. I will definitely try to get this house again next year. Check in process was super easy. Very satisfied!
