Absolutely beautiful property! Blue Jewel was even more impressive in person and was perfect for our group. The house and grounds are gorgeous, spacious, and such a special place to spend a vacation.The staff was wonderful throughout our stay. The housemaids, groundskeepers, and security staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and we always felt very well taken care of.If you stay here, definitely add on the bartenders! They were absolutely amazing and honestly one of the highlights of our stay. They made the experience so much fun and were fantastic with our entire group.Beatriz was also wonderful to work with and genuinely cares about her guests and their experience. Her communication and customer service were exceptional.We made some amazing memories at Blue Jewel and would absolutely love to come back someday. It’s a beautiful, unique property and such a fun place for a group trip or special occasion.

We loved our second stay at the Blue Jewel! The owners were very accommodating and Mariana was so helpful. We had a chef cook us two amazing dinners during our stay and everyone enjoyed the beach right out the back and the pool on the grounds.

The house was excellently located, right off the beach. There was plenty of shade to be found at all times, the facilities were excellent and the pool was such an oasis of peace where to hang out during the stay. All staff members were kind and helpful, the house felt safe, exceedingly clean and the grounds were meticulously kept. Howler monkeys treated us one morning to the delight of all, and our concierge was able to help us schedule and book a variety of activities. A perfect spot for 3 families on vacation!

Our family of 14 loved this villa! It’s large and very very clean. The staff were amazing. We used the transfer from the airport very simple and convenient. We then rented cars in tamarindo only a 5 minute uber to enterprise. We used the chefs for breakfast and dinner every night. The food was great and with such a large group it was very convenient! Mariana helped us arrange this and made our stay perfect! We also had family photos taken by Mel. The photos turned out great! Mariana booked us surf lessons right in front of our villa. The surf lessons were very fun and perfect for all ages. We walked down the beach to watch the fire dancers they usually preform around sunset.

Amazing stay for a large multi-generational group

We brought a group of 20 extended family members ranging in age from 5 to 79, and Blue Jewel was perfect. The property is amazing, and the staff made our time truly special. We worked with Mariana and Ulises to create so many wonderful experiences. I cannot recommend strongly enough.

Great Family Getaway

The house is in a perfect location for our family. Our stay was wonderful and the staff at the house was great by helping us with the large group we had. The location of the house near town and the direct access to the beach is perfect.

Perfect Family Stay

From walking in the door the property far exceeded expectations. It was the perfect getaway for our extended family. With 18 guests it truly hit all the marks providing nice areas to escape as well as large gathering spaces to enjoy meals. The location is ideal to walk into town but far enough away to enjoy a quiet retreat. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel.

Great location, well maintained house

The house was perfect for my group of 14 adults. The daily housekeeping was very nice and the rooms were all very clean and comfortable. The location right on the beach is ideal. The house comes stocked with tons of towels, pool toys and everything you would need for a beach getaway. Highly recommend this house.

We chose this location because it truly offers the best of Tamarindo—direct beachfront access combined with the convenience of being close to everything, yet just far enough to enjoy peace and privacy.

Tamarindo Bay has a vibrant, welcoming energy, and this southern end of the beach is especially magical. It’s quieter and more natural, with beautiful trees, soft sand, and gentle waves perfect for swimming, surfing, or just relaxing. We love hearing the ocean from the villa, watching the fishermen head out in the early morning, and seeing the sun set right in front of us.

What we enjoy most about the neighborhood is how easy it is to walk everywhere—grab coffee, dine at world-class restaurants, take a yoga class, or browse local boutiques—all without needing a car. There’s also a wonderful sense of community, with locals and visitors alike enjoying the beach lifestyle.
