Luminoso y acogedor loft con amplio salón y cocina que se abren a la terraza amueblada cubierta con vistas al gran jardín. Tiene capacidad para 6 personas. Amueblado y equipado, aire acondicionado, wifi, lavadora, lavavajillas, todas las comodidades. Extremadamente silencioso, en uno de los pocos barrios restantes del viejo Milán. La calle da a la iglesia de San Cristoforo y al Navigli. En pocos minutos a pie puede llegar a Via Tortona y al Design District, el Museo de las Culturas, el Vicolo dei Lavandai, el Darsena, Porta Ticinese. Bien comunicado con la Piazza Duomo en el centro en tranvía y autobús. Las estaciones de metro de Porta Genova y Romolo están a poca distancia.
Además de la terraza, los huéspedes pueden disfrutar del jardín que poseen algunos condominios, equipados con mesas, sillas y tumbonas ideales para relajarse.

Everything about our stay was great. Mara was an excellent host. She began communication well before our arrival, informing us of important details related to the stay. Mara maintained close communication throughout our stay, and was always available for any questions we had. The apartment was outfitted with everything we needed to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen where we could make our meals. The location is also very convenient, close to the Navigli Grand Canal, and a short walk to the tram and bus stop.

Beautiful flat in a wonderful area

Mara was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. Communication was great and she answered all our questions and gave us recommendations of the area. The space worked out wonderful for the 4 adults traveling together. The patio is beautiful and a welcome cool place to relax on a hot day. I would love to have the opportunity to go back to Milan and would absolutely contact Mara first. Thanks for an amazing Italian experience Mara.

Quiet Location

The pictures are very accurate of the space. The ceilings are high (which is hard to tell form the pictures) making it feel very spacious. There are lots of plant inside and outside. The mosquitos were unbearable at the time of our visit so we couldn't really use the outside. We also needed to water some of the plants during our stay. The air-conditioning was unable to keep the space cool during the hot summer time we visited. Mara was a gracious host trying to help us with things we needed and was responsive.

Dear David and family, I'm so sorry your stay in my house was not as you wished, unfortunately you were in Milan during the exceptional hottest time of the summer! I tried everything possible to ease your stay: I called and paid a technician to check the airconditioner: the degrees were those allowed by Italian rules, very different from the American ones! I was also willing to pay and settle for you and additional air conditioner unit, but you didn't want! As concerns - plants: there is an automatic water system; I only asked you to water sometimes 2 or 3 plants not reached by the w. system! - mosquitos; what can I say? now, before and after your stay, I and all my neighbors, we spend much hours, day and night, on our terraces; maybe even mosquitos could be connected to the exceptional hot season? Anyway I thank you so much for the tidiness and the care of my house and hope you enjoyed Italy. All the best, Mara

Beautiful, charming terrace in a quiet, low key part of Navigli

I have rented many VRBOs and am quite good at ascertaining the general vibe from the pictures. Mara's modest- but lovely! - old world apartment is exactly what I expected and wanted. Her garden on the terrace is just perfect for morning coffee or otherwise relaxing. The main bed was very comfortable (important to me!) and there is a dishwasher and washing machine. It was extremely hot in Milan when my friend and I were there -- the heat doesn't bother me, but note the air conditioning is not up to a big heat wave. The location is absolutely perfect -- an easy tram to everything two blocks away. If you are looking to live for a bit like a local in Navigli, this is perfect. My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Fun location near canals, restaurants and public transport, in secure compound

Beautiful terrace with plants (open air, no screens), nicely decorated with art. Mara was very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated having coffee and soap bars and nice towels in bathrooms. We missed that there was A/C and so it was warm and a little stuffy at night. Staircase to upstairs bedroom is narrow with no railing on one side but that was manageable. Sitting area, the balcony and kitchen were all very nice. We appreciated Mara calling a taxi for us when time to go. It was really fun walking along the canal and watching the rowers. Our daughter who’s a runner liked running along the canal. There was a very good restaurant nearby on the canal along with some more casual ones. Real convenient to have a trolley stop close by too.

Milano’s finest!

Mara is excellent! Her place is very roomy and easy to get into and get around Milan from. Her lovely deck and green space she is next to gives the impression and feeling that one is next to a large garden. Her location was easy to find as we drove into Milan. The Tram that took us to the Duomo is only 2 blocks away. And there are several restaurants and a market nearby for all needs. Thank you, Mara!!

Outdoor porch makes this place

This is a cozy comfortable apartment with a gracious and helpful host. It was our last stop in a 3 week tour of Italy and the best part of this stay was the outdoor terrace. The terrace is large and includes a table for 4, comfortable seating and plenty of plants for privacy...a very nice outdoor space. The bedrooms are small but downstairs has a private full bath and upstairs uses the bath on the email floor. Close to a supermarket and there is a great Sicilian coffee shop and wonderful Bolognese restaurant (da Mauro) nearby.

Exellent apartement, perfect location

Comfortabel, schoon en smaakvol appartement gesitueerd in de levendige gezellige Navigliwijk in Milaan. Met tram 2 -vlakbij het appartement- ben je in no-time in het oude stadshart van Milaan. Van absolute meerwaarde is het ruime terras, gezellig aangekleed met planten en meubilair. Onze gastvrouw Mara was bijzonder hulpvaardig, hiervoor onze dank! Comfortable, clean an tasteful apartement situated in lively and sociable Navigli area in Milano. Tram 2 - stop near the apartement - brings you in no-time to the old centre of the town. Extra dimension in the big terrace with beautiful flowers and fine furniture. Our hostess Mara was very helpfull, and hospitable: thank you Mara. Mille grazie Mara! Casa molto bella e accogliente. Ci siamo goduti moltissimo il terrazzo. Non conoscevo bene la zona dei Navigli, L'ho trovata interessante animata e gradevole. Esperienza senz'altro da ripetere.

Sejour à Milan top

L'appartement est encore mieux que dans les photos. Il est superbe et la terrasse magnifique. La propriétaire est charmante et vous donne plein de conseils pour votre visite. A Milan ca sera toujours ici que on viendra loger.

Gezellig appartement in het sfeervolle milaan

Dit sfeervolle appartement ligt aan de rand van het centrum van Milaan. Het is gesitueert in een levendige wijk. Het centrum van Milaan is zeer goed bereikbaar, zeker ook in combinatie met het publieke fietsensysteem dat vlakbij een ophaalpunt heeft. We hebben hier heel gezellige en afwisselend dagen gehad en waren tevreden. De eigenaresse is zeer behulpzaam.

Great location

Owner is gracious and very responsive to email and all requests. The space is very clean/open/inviting and a pleasure to stay. We traveled with a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. More than enough space for all of us. I hope to saty here again in the future. Also, anything you need is a short walk from groccery stroee/dining/trolly line 2 that brings you to duomo . I genualy recimend staying here

A Milano come in campagna

Cara Mara, i miei amici inglesi hanno molto apprezzato il soggiorno nel suo appartamento, soprattutto per il magnifico terrazzo da loro definito "marvellous" dove hanno cenato sotto le stelle. They will be back next year sicuramente nella sua casa! Mi sento quindi di consigliarla anche a nome loro come ottima soluzione milanese che offre la opportunità di sentirsi nel "verde" e nella quiete oltre a godere di un ambiente moderno, ben attrezzato e funzionale. Ottimo!

Un soggiorno ottimo sia per l'accoglienza che per la piacevolezza della casa: bella, molto ben curata, attrezzata e pulita! La consiglio vivamente anche per il magnifico terrazzo e la posizione. La casa si trova infatti in una via tranquillissima, ma vicina ai tanti locali e ristoranti tipici dei navigli, raggiungibili a piedi.

Un ottimo soggiorno!

Siamo stati molto, molto bene. La casa è bella, originale, pulita, perfettamente in ordine e funzionale. C'è tutto quello che può servire. La proprietaria, molto gentile e premurosa, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni per vivere al meglio la casa e per visitare l'expo e Milano. Indimenticabile la cena in terrazza in mezzo ai fiori e con il profumo dei gelsomini! Speriamo di tornare presto! Consigliamo vivamente questa casa! Ben & family

Bellissimo soggiorno

Il soggiorno è stato ottimo: la casa bella, curata in ogni particlare e accogliente, oltre quanto immaginavamo; il terrazzo in fiore una meraviglia. La proprietaria un'ospite eccellente ci ha fornito indicazioni preziose su Milano e supporto organizzativo per visitare Expo. Grazie di tutto Mara, torneremo senz'altro alla prossima occasione.
