Great time

We needed a much needed vacation, the property was beautiful and many activities to do. Brought our dogs and they had plenty of room to use the restroom. Food at the restaurant was great.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay & everything was great EXCEPT for the WiFi - I tried to get some work done and was unable to connect to the WiFi, even after talking to the front desk.

Affordable and close to everything

Surprised my wife with a trip to universal and chose this spot based on location. Close by and easy check in process. Only gripe is that the jacuzzi didn’t work but all in all was a good experience

Short stay.

Was a last minute thing but the facility and room were above average. Because of its smaller foot print it was a little congested driving around. There also seemed to be a little maintenance going on that we could hear during the day but not bad. It just seemed like they were always coming and going whenever we used the elevator. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Room was not cleaned thoroughly. Found curly hair on side of Jacuzzi easily visible to anyone.

Good, but not great.

The overall resort was adequate with attentive staff, well stocked Market Place with resort priced items and also a Sports Bar. But, the hot water was almost non existent for 3 of the last 4 days in my unit making early morning showers, let's say very invigorating. Additionally, my unit faced the pool which played very loud music which was very intrusive from around 9AM until at least 9PM making it very difficult to fully concentrate on important business presentations that I was in Orlando to present. Two more items to report is that there's an electric wall unit below the microwave that is not working and I was informed during booking process that the unit was a 5 minute drive to the Convention Center which proved to be false resulting in much larger Lyft charges than I expected.

Not worth it!!!

The property or room was dirty , no parking...parking garage was up front room was in the back..waited 30 40 minutes to get a ride..this was every night.

Confusing check in process

This was a timeshare rental, not an owned room at a resort. They didn't have our original rented studio room available, but the resort was able to give us a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. It also want clear exactly what the tour they wanted us to take was. It was a timeshare tour.

Relaxing weekend, but...

Good points - bed was really comfortable, room was clean, close to pool area, location is close to attractions and restaurants. Not so good points - on first night someone tried to kick the outer door in. Took a while to get front desk to answer the phone but once they did, security came out right away and maintenance came to fix the door jamb the next morning. A little unnerving. Also, I thought I would have free wi-fi. It was in my filter when I searched for this place. Was also told that at check in and on the phone with front desk but when the only option given me was to pay for it, I went to front desk to verify and was told I guess I had to pay for it. Our sliding door to the porch was off somehow but seemed too much hassle to get it fixed. They kept closing the pools for an hour or so. Granted, it was storming at first but skies cleared and they were still closed. Second night, no storm but closed for an hour. Whatever. Still overall, it was a nice stay. We probably won't be back. Too confusing but it was still a relaxing weekend. If you are there with kids and for the attractions it is probably a good deal

Weekend Getaway for two!

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway! Location is great for theme parks & dining. The decor was a little dated, but clean. We would definitely stay here again.

This place needs a little TLC

As a host, I look forward to provide my guests all in good, clean and working condition. Unfortunately this was not the case w me staying at this property. Bc I understand owner doesn’t have control 100% on this, I’d like to share a constructive review. The jacuzzi was never cleaned! And staff called to fix issue wasn’t very pleasant when they are talking in another language that place was perfect when he checked. :/ The jacuzzi also didn’t work which that was a bummer for my kids who enjoys bathtub w jets b4 bedtime. The corners of units were very dusty! The AC vent was moldy as well and we feel there we’re a bovo thermostat that really didn’t control anything as we were Shari g to unit next door. :( The screen in porch was perfect for fire works however we used a cooler in front of it to cover a huge hole that was allowing mosquitos in. Overall, we spent most of the day at water park and around resort going to room to shower and rest. Super glad my kids 4 and 6yo didn’t have a hard time sleeping on sofa bed bc it was literally not comfortable in fact, we put a blanket under mattress to level up. This was a last minute get away and we just wanted to relax and not bother w anything and so we made it all smooth however I know in my good days, those things are sure not acceptable and should not be presented to anyone unless listed on. Host was a darlin and for his hospitality all went down good.

Lots of pools

It was our first time using Vrbo and we had a great experience. The place had so many pools to choose from. The kids loved that.. we loved that the pools were open after 8pm.. especially on a warm night!! The place we stayed at was nice but next time we will need to rent something a little bigger. Definitely would stay at a Westgate again🤗
