The house was nice. A lot of stairs but they had baby gates if needed. Fit our family well. Had every kind of cooking appliances you might need. The host was friendly and communicated well. I would stay again.

Short commute to Purina Farms

This is my group's 2nd stay in this house. Perfect for a group and with open communication with the host multiple well trained dogs were welcome. I find the beds comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for meals in. Looking forward to our next stay.

Great stay in a great home

We have stayed here 2 years now in a row for our dog National. We love it. They have thought of everything and anything you may need for your stay and there's plenty of room for us to spread out and a wonderful backyard to enjoy. We will see you next year!

Great Place!

We stayed at this home for a week long dog show. The house provided us with more than we expected. Clean, comfortable and ideally located to Purina Event center. The dogs loved having a large yard to zoom around in, while we sat outside and chatted. It was awesome and my friends and I would come back for another visit!

We loved the fenced back yard. Plenty of space inside. The hosts NEED to declutter! Too much "stuff" everywhere in the house. No room for our stuff! Otherwise house was fine.

Home away from home

A week-long stay for a Purina event made more relaxing by a house that is family friendly dog friendly and packed full of amenities. Did you forget to bring something from home? No problem they probably have it there for you! We love to stay here every year and the property owner is very reachable for anything you may need or any concern you may have. See you again next year!

We were in town for the Mo State Women's Bowling tournament. This house was perfect for the 6 of us gals! We each had our own bedroom, which was nice. They had everything you could've needed/wanted and then some! Kitchen was well stocked, nice sized bedrooms, large dining table, etc...We were only there one night, so we didn't have time to enjoy the yard or fire pit. We will definitely be calling again if/when we are back in the area. GREAT stay, GREAT hosts!!

Perfect for our family

We had adults, children and dogs for a weekend and the house was perfect. The children were able to go outside and play on the swing set or play in the house. There was enough room in the house for all of us to have space to spread out when we wanted to. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make a big family dinner and the family could congregate in the kitchen to talk and visit. This house was perfect for us. There were games and toys for the kids to play with if they wanted. If the owners didn’t provide something, I don’t know what it was. There was everything from toothbrushes to a crockpot in the kitchen and puzzles, toys and books for the kids and adults. We fully enjoyed our stay!

Family Christmas

Our family came from Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin and New Mexico to celebrate Christmas!! This house was fully stocked with towels in the bathrooms plus extras. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some. The kids loved the secret passage to the bathroom upstairs. The house is old which means character. If you're looking for new and modern, keep looking. If you like warm, cozy and quirky, this is it!! We had complaints about the bed comfort in the 2 front bedrooms, but the others were satisfactory. The owner is so friendly and helpful!! If you have questions or need something, just ask!! We had a wonderful time!!! Thank you so much!!!

Attend wedding

This was a great place to stay. It cost a lot less than getting hotel rooms and everyone hung out together in a terrific house. The place had plenty of space for the kids to run around. Everything you need to make meals was well stocked, except the actual food. Plenty of plates, silverware, glassware….. This property has my highest recommendation.

Home away from home!

Our experience with our stay has us wanting to come back for another trip! The feel of being welcomed and not having to worry about anything on our trip was a huge relief! The kids loved our stay and did not have any hesitation picking their own rooms and making their way through the secret passages!

Great stay in a great home

The house was wonderful from the first step in. Plenty of space for our group and the huge fenced in back yard was a hit for people and dogs a like! Property owner was very responsive to any issue. We will be back! Dont miss eating at the Junie Moon cafe near by. Great food!

Quick Get-a-way

We came to Missouri to go to the Candlelight Walk and celebration in Augusta. We were late deciding to come and everything in Augusta was booked. So, we started looking on line and found this property - and, we are so glad we did. An older, lovely, well kept home. Completely stocked with everything you would need. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely see if this home is available.

Very Comfortable! Everything You Need! Relax!

The host has made this huge house a very comfortable place to be. You can all sit around the table and talk and eat, or watch movies or play games in the living room. On a lovely afternoon, you can sit beneath the old trees in the backyard and comfy lawn furniture and chat, or nap in the hammock. The many beds are quite comfortable. No cheaping out on the mattresses. Better than any hotel these days, the host has thought to provide you with items in the bathroom you may have forgetten. The kitchen is well stocked! You can plan to cook for your family and make coffee any way you like it! Yes. The house is not new. But it is oh, so comfortable. Relax or go out play as there are many things to do in this area. The host has information about that, too!

Just the right size!

With COVID restrictions lessening, we had 12 family members from 3 states converge for a 4 day visit and a float trip down the Meramec river. The house was big enough for all of us. The kitchen was VERY well appointed. Everything we needed was there. Communication with the host was delightful, easy and prompt. Check in went smoothly. One of our party left his iPad and the host contacted us before he even realized it was missing. It was promptly mailed back to us! Thank you for great memories of our stay!
