No thru traffic. Large covered deck. Very few steps for older folks, little ones or carrying luggage. Great parking. large master, small 2nd bedroom not as private. No dishwasher. Guests provide their own linens & paper products.
Custom golf cart included for drivers 21 & up with valid drivers license (no permits).
Outside camera in use - noted on property also.

In season rentals from May 21st through Sept. 11th are 7 days only. Monthly rates are available for offseason. SNOWBIRDS welcome!

We had a great stay. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air was cranking. We would rent here again.

Nice place for a little getaway

Very convenient. I always enjoy rentals with everything you need at your finger tipi. Appreciate inclusion of the golf cart.

RAINY WEEK AT THE BEACH

OTHER THAN THE WEATHER WE HAD A GOOD TIME . OCEAN LAKES WAS GREAT A USUAL AND 6011 WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY ! ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR !

Best Vacation Trip

We booked this property and it was not a disappointment. We were able to use the golf cart to get to the beach, the water park, and enjoy the golf cart cruise each night! We celebrated our son's 13th birthday and he was so happy with everything! We will be back to Ocean Lakes and this property!

myrtle vacation

the property itself was older then most but it was clean. If i would ding anything about our stay it would be 1) It should have new mattresses 2) the floor in the larger bathroom needs alot of work , It is a tripping hazard. The golf cart was great. As an over all review the place is located in a great spot and it was clean.

Betsy the owner and ocean lakes are great the location and questions answered from Betsy were phenomenal- pics that we saw online looked better then actual in person - I kept tripping over the flooring in the larger bathroom - needs to be refreshed and a little tlc on the inside as well as the outside -

Great experience!

We had a really great time at this property! The owner is so sweet and very accommodating. The location of this property was perfect, not too far away from the ocean but far enough away from heavy traffic noise. I felt safe with my little one running around. She’s bad for taking off and since it’s in a culdasac it wasn’t so bad.

Smaller than appears in pictures

Ocean lakes was a great place to vacation. The golf cart was a nice addition that was included The place itself was very dated. The living room offered very limited seating with a very small tv; therefore we had to hang out on the deck for the majority of our time. More comfortable outdoor seating is highly recommended.

Excellent House

This house was great from the moment we arrived until the time we left. No issues with anything. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location is quiet and easy to get to. She has the house beautifully decorated. The golf cart is an added bonus. I had no issues that required contacting the owner but I have no doubt she would have responded quickly. Look forward to staying here again.

Pros: A/C was excellent—Golf Cart was nice—All appliances worked well—Hot water was nice—Washer and dryer was nice Cons: Trailer is dated and small—Has a covered porch but not inviting due to the condition of it—Cramped areas between bedrooms—Trailer would be ok for 2 people—TV is very small

Awesome Vacation

We had a great week at the beach! The accommodations were perfect for my husband & I. Betsy, the host, is so easy to work with. She responds super quickly, and is very efficient. Be sure to get your parking pass 10 days before your stay, and you can pass the check in line and drive right in, and save $2.00/day. Main bed is super comfy, we felt right at home immediately. Oh, and did I mention the GOLF CART! Huge bonus, and its really cute. We will definitely stay again if visiting Ocean Lakes.

Would stay again!

The owner is wonderful !! I asked about the property before I booked it and she was very nice and helpful. I felt very comfortable to book it so we did ! She gave us all the info we needed days before our trip. We had a sight problem when we first arrived none that was technically the owner’s fault but she went above and beyond!! The complementary golf cart was a plus! The house is well located .. my 3 daughters (10,5,2) walked from the beach it wasn’t a long walk at all. Not a lot of traffic. Close to the pool & Sandy Mart. Overall this house is good house to rent !! And the owner was/is great !!

Fall Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in your home. However, we did have some issues with the air ducts coming off in the master bedroom. But, the owner was awesome and had his friend Randy come over and put it back on 2 different times. I would like to say that you may want to talk to your cleaning crew because there were some issues with the floors and rugs not being clean. So, we swept, mopped and washed the rugs when we arrived. Thanks again for letting us stay in your place..

Communication I had to do it all she waited 3 days before we were to check in before we knew anything about the rental property but when we made reversavations she required all the payments up front the property is old and dated the nicest things there is the golf cart and the washer and dryer.

Can’t recommend

As much as I would love for things to have worked out with this rental, I can’t recommend it to others. The location and included golf cart were awesome but that’s about as far as the positives go. The first thing we noticed when we stepped inside the rental was that it was 86 degrees inside even with the a/c on full blast - contacting the property manager was fast and easy and she had a company come out to “fix” the problem…. but it never fully cooled down the entire time we were there. We would have the a/c set to 70 and were lucky to get it to cool down to 76… trying to recoup from beach temperatures and sleep in a hot house was miserable! The property manager did reach out a few times to check in about the a/c but never really had a solution to the problem. Aside from that, the rental is pretty outdated and not very clean and tidy. My toddlers feet stayed black with dirt the entire time bc the floors were so dirty - even after I mopped a few times! There were drawers and cabinets full of literal junk and old papers and books.. we found a magazine from 2007! It just doesn’t seem like a rental that the family actually uses or visits or takes much pride in for their guests. I hate to leave negative reviews but I just couldn’t recommend this property to anyone else.

Perfect getaway

This home was perfect for my husband and I. Location was great Everything worked, golf cart was a huge plus as well. Owner was nice and very responsive. Would definitely stay again.
